30 days to remove you from the database?  That is just an intentional stalling tactic.  Might as well be "we will never stop calling".  No reason for it not to be immediate unless they are still using punch cards and paper tape.  Are you using a teletype to pull up customer information?

Those closed head injuries real can screw up your ability to think rationally, can't they.  But you're right - it is really a space alien calling, not Charter at all.  (Paranoid much?)

My cell phone in on the no call list and it has been for years, But Charter believes they can call anyone that has their cable service, to harasse them until they upgrade thier service with them to stop the calls..

The no call list to them is a joke and they do not have to abide by what they say not to call.

Having your number on the Do Not Call registry does NOT prevent ALL calls. Calls from charities and political calls are still allowed, even if your number is registered. Also still allowed are calls from anyone you have a business relationship with. If you're a Charter customer then they can call you, even if your number is registered on the Do Not Call registry. This also includes credit card companies, utilities, stores, etc. If you don't want calls from someone you've done business with, then you have to ask them directly not to call you.

They have called my cell number a couple of times but the My Callblocker hangs up on them. If anyone has a android phone google Play Store has a App Called Callblocker and it works great. Add that number to your blackList and mark the Hangup in the slot it it will do.

04-07-2013 @ 12:29 PM - 888-438-2427, TOLL FREE CALLER:  = This is number for Charter Communications Cable TV.  When phone rang, I saw it was a toll free number and caller ID showed it was a "Toll Free Caller".  Let the answering machine take the call.  When I listened to the message, it said something about an "automated survey".  Since I don't do surveys, glad I didn't take the call.  The number is registered to Charter Communications in Cahokia, Illinois, from what I've learned through internet.  We just changed to Charter back in July, and they continue to harass us with their stupid "bundling" deals, or, call wanting to do a "survey".  They may not last too long with me.

I Called the Ph. No. Back and got an automated System that Said My Bill was Past Due and I needed to Make a payment or My Service would Be Turned Off, Then asked Me if I Would Like To Make a Payment Now. I Said No and the Recording Gave Me an Extension of a week to Make it, so I Took it. No Live Person was involved. Guess The do Things different in Nevada.

If any one has  Android Phone or Smart Phone. Google Market has Callblocker and it Rings once and then hangs up and when you put their number in. We are going to keep get these types of calls. They have quite a few blockers that are free I tried them all just about but the CallBloker with the +shiel worked for this phone.

If you have Comcast telephone service and you are tired of unwanted phone calls from unknown phone numbers, do the following...

1) Pick up your phone and dial *60
2) Press "2" to add numbers to the call block list
3) If you want to block the last incoming phone number, press "#" after you've pressed "2"

Charter cable company

Just got a call from Charter wanting me to complete a survey on their recent service call. Did not answer, just like they do not answer when we call. Funny how it is when we recently went to their local office when they started charging for channel boxes. Told them that their prices were to high and was looking at other companies all of a sudden they lower the cost by 10%+. Still looking around for a better service and will get rid of them if we can.
