Just got a call from eSupport live. Just from looking at the caller ID my gut told me scam call, plus I'd just gotten another one yesterday. Heavy Indian accent, same story as the others - viruses on my computer that he wantd to help me clean off. I played along and asked why he wanted to help me, how would he benefit, he kept reverting to his script, when I pressed he said it was just his job that he was getting paid for, I pressed more, why did hi s company want to help me - out of the kindness of their hearts? He was obviously getting frustrated but kept insisting I just look at my computer. I finally told him that it was obvious to me that this was a fraud call but he didn't budge surprisingly. Usually when I say that I hear a click. He kept pressing me to go to my computer and I finally said no thanks and then I got a click. His frustration and rudeness at certain points were definite red flags.

its true. Everything belong to E-support Live is fake. its a scam company. They pretend to help the customers however they actually do not. They provide free softwares like CCleaner and Malwarebytes at a cost which is absolutely free of cost. Moreover they will show inf files on your computer stating that these are infected files however they are suppose to understand that this is not infected but infromation files. They pretend themselves tech savvy but not. They are liers and making us fool to make money.E-Support Live is a Scam company nothing else.

Mr. Parker. its not lie. I have met one of my friend who took this service and received acknowledgement letter and he was asked to sign and fax. He did as well. In that acknowledgement letter they mentioned to check terms and condition in their website however when you visit www.esupport-live.com website and observe, its a 2 page website and will not find any terms and conditions or policies of the company. It clearly indicates they don't know what they are doing. They are making stories and telling to old age people and scaring them pretending they are from microsoft and fooling around and taking money from us.

If you wish, you can also visit their website and try to find out their terms and conditions, policies, blogs, serveys etc. nothing is there in it. THEY ARE FAKE. CRIMINALS. FRAUDS. THIEFS. I don't have any more words to describe them.

I've gotten multiple calls from callers with strong indian accents, who indicate that they want to deal with files on my windows computer (as if I would give access to a stranger).

This time I was tired of them calling and wanted to find out who they were and what they were doing.  So I got the number, checked it here, and saw that many other people had been called by them.  I called them back to see if the number actually worked, and it did.  I asked to get off their call list and the guy acted all confused like he didn't understand what I was talking about and like I needed to talk to another department.   I said, "That's okay, I can just give your information to the FCC, since you are required by law to take me off your calling list."  Suddenly, he seemed to comprehend English, and firmly stated that I wouldn't get any more calls.

Just so you know, there is are severe fines for calling someone on the do not call list, as copied below:

"State penalties range from $500. to $25,000 per violation. National Registry fines are $16,000. per violation. Please note you can have multiple $16,000. fines per call. Example: An individual is on the National Registry and you called after hours. Two violations for a $32,000 fine, one call. Call centers and businesses may be investigated by the FTC, FCC, States Attorney Generals, individuals or all four."  http://www.donotcallprotection.com/do_not_call_faq2.shtml

They called us and tried to scare us into doing something on our computer, because 'Microsoft texts' would not be working. Really?  Funny my computer works just fine.  We are older and have some experience with computers.  I might add not stupid!  The whole thing got funny when the 'English as a second language' person tried to blame people in Texas for the problem I'm having....of course I ask for his number so I could look up what company this was from.  I never buy into to anyone that acts angry because I'm  not concerned by his words.....odd people to say the least!

I also got the call from "Rick" wanting to get into my computer. He said it was a tech call wanting to help clean my unwanted files.  He said everything he could to get me to log on to my computer. I knew he was a scam and I had a little fun asking him stupid questions.  Sadly he played along thinking he would get into my computer.  Very scary!!

I just got the same type of call from "Jay Smith."  Caller id said it was a Miami, FL number:  305-474-0866.  He said it was different from the callback number (the "888" number) because he was using VOIP.  Didn't trust it.  Said he was from "Go4emarket" and they'd been hired by Microsoft to provide technical service.  He said that, if I didn't do as he requested now, then my computer might crash and then they wouldn't be able to help me.  Still didn't trust it.

These things never end.  Got a call from this same number 1-305-474-0866.  Wanted to clean up my computer by telling me  the keystrokes to do it.  I played along with him for awhile and then asked him to give me all the keystrokes to do it myself later when I could check out if  they were legit.  He said that he had to help me do it directly.  I asked him who he worked for and he said "Goforeemarket" and I asked him who was paying him and he said that was private.  He gave me the number 1-888-574-1650 to call his company. I told him I wasn't going to let him have control of my computer and he hung up.  I called back the first number above immediately and it was disconnected.

    Indian hackers fail...
Any body that says that it is not a scam is lying, it is also probably some Indian people trying to clear their name so they can hack more computers, just listen to their grammar!!! "but don't know", "but he help me to make", "WHY U PEOPLE ARE TELLING IT IS SCAM?", "Then they provided me some softwares with a lifetime package and gifted me a TAB" I also received a call from this number: 888-514-1650, they asked me to go to my files, so I said that I keep my nail files in the cabinet, but I have a metal file in my tool box XD XD XD

This call sounded very much like all the other calls reported for this number.  He had some personal information: He knew I had done business with KOBO recently.  He said his name was Bruce.  I went along with him until he started asking me to execute programs from the DOS command line and then I said I wanted to check him out and get back to him.

Got a call today (6.4.14), same thing as some of you have stated.  Caller had a thick accent (maybe India)..said he was Matthew Johnson, from Microsoft windows tech support, and  he said my computer was "sending them error messages" and "downloading unwanted files that would damage the pc and these files were bypassing my pc security system"  He wanted me to run a program and it would help identify if these unwanted files were actually on the pc. If so, he wanted to help remove them.  I took his phone number 1-888-514-1650, and his ID WS109.  When I called the company back the person who answered the phone said they were "Go 4 Marketplace"
