I did NOT opt-in for any calls from Rightsource. NEVER!  Once a Humana representative told me that just visiting the website and looking at RightSource could be the reason I got a call from them. But this same person did not mention that I need to take my phone number off of the communication Preference list.

IMHO, they are a PITA, but maybe MY solution will work... Kinda hard to phone me when my number is not in their machine.

To others who are having this same problem: Hint: You can enter a bogus phone number. Their system will accept it. But be nice and don't put in one that belongs to someone else. I guess a telemarketer number would work. lol

    Scam Blaster
I got a call a month ago which is supposedly from Humana on a second phone line and number that I had never given to them. I emailed Humana that I thought the call was scammer and that they should be warning people about it.  Today these fake Humana people called from (888) 538-3518 to my main phone line number which I did give to Humana and she was wanting to talk about my medications. When I complained about hearing chatter in the background she admitted that she was calling from a Call Center. I told her that "if I had called you, then I would not be defensive, but I am not giving out information to anyone who calls me from Humana or pretends to call me from Humana because Humana does not call people like this and is not the way they operate. I think you are a scammer". Then I hung up. The true Humana calls for refilling medications are done by an automated robot program with an artificial voice which force you press menu buttons on your phone and this is how they have refilled my meds for years. When things don't go well another robot will call, but not a real person or they will send an email. But usually they don't have humans calling you on the phone, and you can always make corrections, find out what's going on, or talk to a real person by accessing your online MyHumana Account. These people are not Humana and probably want to steal your identity, or get you credit card information along with you full name, address, and Soc. Sec. #. All they have to do is ask you to confirm or update the data that they have on file in order to get you to spill your guts and tell them all they need to steel your money more easily.

Possible spoof but most likely Rightsource Humana. They don't carry my RX but the telemk group doesn't co. Humana gives info to 3rd parties. I kept getting calls to do a home visit, sounded scam but finally Humana admitted they did it. Ironic since at the time there was no dr in network to see and I had shingles and in pain, yet they wanted to send someone to do my weight and bp. Gives them services they can claim in advertising while they minimize their shortcomings. I get the outsource hangup calls, repeatedly just block unless u use service.

I have Humana coverage until the end of this year, but I never use their mail order service.  Always fill Rx locally.  And when I pick up the phone, no one is there.  No recorded message, nothing.  So if it is Humana, it is consistent with their "customer service," one of the primary reasons I'm changing coverage for 2016.

Same here. If a company can't attach its name to the number then I'm not answering any question. I'll call the number on the back of my member card for Q&A. Too many scammers targeting senior Citizens.

I agree with irritated.  I also am a member of the Humana Medicare Advantage and I have complained to my Humana agent that if they want me to answer they need to make sure the caller ID says Humana and not "unavailable" because naturally people think it is a scam even if it is not a scam.

Any number that I don't recognize, I "google" it. Usually will see others that received calls from same number. Also, someone usually knows who it is. I put it on my "do not answer" list.

I got a call at work. When I answered, it hung up. I called the number later. A lady answered "Humana". I asked her why Humana called me earlier and she denied that they did. Then she tried to ask me all kinds of questions, including my account number, address, etc. I just told her I was at work and could not do this now. That was it. But the number keeps calling.

This IS Humana's Rx service.  I answered but there was no one there.  I called back and my hubby's Rx were due to be refilled.  I authorized that and then said I had a complaint.  The CSR said there was NO indiction of a call and that annoyed me even more.  I understand HIPPA security bu at least identify yourself!!

I have Humana (new this year) and these calls began almost immediately. I haven't answered and have call blocked, but they come back with a different number, which I also call block. So, they sent me a snail mail saying they'd been unable to reach me, and tried to get me to sign up for mail Rx. I only use one Rx and told the rep I don't want my meds sitting in a freezing mailbox in the winter, nor an oven-like mailbox in the summer, as it clearly says right on the med info sheet that it must be stored within a certain temperature range. Rep said, okay, but still tried to convince me, I wasn't convinced. Now the calls keep coming. Will change medical providers next year. Don't need this intrusion.

I received a call from this number, it is Humana mail order. The lady said I hadn't finished enrollment with the insurance, and I did. I asked her name and hung up,,,red flags went up because information that was said was incorrect. I called Humana, and it was them calling, I hung up after 1/2 of the supervisor trying to connect with mail order. I called my doctors office and told them to flag me so if they are trying to scam me, they won't be able to...

Number reported above abandons the call leaving no message, which is fine by me.  If it is Humana they've been told not to use my listed phone.

I downloaded a free app called Safest Call Blocker. I'm happy with it. It does a great job blocking any calls I don't want to receive. I also get calls from this number but it gets blocked.

Its from Humana Medicare Rx customer service.  I wish they would have their ID on it as I thought it was spam also and didn't pick up. I called back though and its one of their customer service/mail order prescription numbers and I am a member of the plan so it was legit.

I called it back and it is the Humana Rx plan. I'm a member also.  Wish they would have left a message as when I call back they don't know who called me and why. Sort of useless.  I suspect they want me to participate in the mail order prescription service.

You're right. I realize this now.  Wish they would have left a message or at least have a caller ID show up so they don't get blocked by mistake.
