- SbSame thing.....except their calling my familys home for an apparent collections...my sister who is an attorney called the number back. It is true they don't call ahead to warn of being served. Some scum scammer guy got on the phone and tried to settle for 500 bucks on some unknown bill. I laughed... Then said he would sue. I said okidoke....DO NOT FALL FOR THESE SCARE TACTICS. Dead end job with slime balls running it.

- HR| 1 replyI've been getting these for the past month. All from "Heather." I tried calling them back today. They called from a local number with the same area code as a place I haven't lived in 4 years. As I was trying to ask the guy why they were calling me, he goes "Hello?" like he can't hear me and then hangs up. (Note: I had 3-4 bars of service and I could hear him just fine.) I blocked the number but they still left another voice mail today, somehow.

- B-Edwards replies to HRYou are probably talking to an interactive robot. The robot asks yes/no questions to advance you in the direction of talking to a live person - or - disconnects the call if you answer "no" or talk mean or swear at the robot. This is the future, and the technology is pretty good and getting better.
If you ask complex questions, you will get turfed too. Ask "Do stewed apples taste more like pears than cherries do?" That will get you booted. - Roxy| 1 replySays she’s Heather Lockwood and has been attained to serve a summons either at my home or place of business. If at place of business have 2 forms of i.d and a supervisor needs to be present to sign off on this. I have been receiving these calls multiple times daily for 2 weeks, if they were going to serve a summons I think they would have done it by now. Also I have been served a summons in the past and they don’t call you they randomly come to your home until they finally catch you just saying.

- WolfmanJack replies to RoxyWell known as a process server scam trying to extort money from you. There are a lot of posts in this thread telling you what you need to know and where to report them.
- MichaelI rcvd the same automated msg as everybody else just a moment ago so it appears it must be working if they're still at it since July 2017. So many ways to KNOW this is a phone phishing scheme to get people to verify their own numbers to receive actual scams. The stuttering. The lack of ANY information to "verify". They are now even using a local prefix (the caller ID for this call showed as 916-242-5935) to relay and make it seem more authentic.

- Carolyn HallReceived a call on my cell phone and my home phone from Heather Lockwood stating she has been retained to collect a debt that I've already Settled in Full with a REAL attorney some 3 years ago and then again last November 2016, when one of these idiots called me and I paid them because I couldn't find the proof that I settled it already. When I tried to get my money back they gave me the runaround and are still giving me the runaround. DON'T PAY THESE SCAMMERS ANYTHING!!! They will threaten you and lie to you and they WILL NOT refund your money when you prove it is not a debt that's owed.

- PamHeather Lockwood is at it again. Phone ID says 407-439-1424 but message says to call 888-587-7407. They do not identify the company who is calling or who they represent. Does not ask for you by name, just says they're going to serve us. Ummmm they don't call first, they just serve you. Please don't fall for this scam. If you owe money to someone, they'll send you a written notice or serve you without a phone call warning you that they're coming.

- Ren replies to CWG40Thanks. I searched our Courts..there are no open cases against me.
- Tracy| 1 replyI got a call from a Heather Lockwood stating the same message as all of the above. I called the 888 number and they would not provide me with any info aside from it’s a debt with Washington Mutual that my husband is the primary and I’m the co-app. First of all, I’ve never been a co-app on anything of my husband’s, only an authorized user. He removed me years ago as the au because it was negatively impacting my credit score. I explained to the person (whose name I can’t remember) that I have never been a co-app, only an au and she tried to tell me that’s the same thing. Um, no. I work in credit card fraud and I can guarantee you it’s not the same thing. An au is not liable for monetary pay back. Of course she wanted to argue with me and said this was a “courtesy” call to save me legal fees and now that she’s notified me, her job is done. I then proceeded to tell her she hasn’t notified me of anything and the calls are monitored and recorded, so I stated that being I have no knowledge of what she is talking about, I have not been notified. My husband pulled up his credit report and nothing from Washington Mutual is on there. Not to mention, they are saying a court date has already been set, but my husband pulled up the court website and shows no court date is set. I have also been getting the same calls from a local number as well. I hope they call back just so I can mess with them. I put one person in their place, I’ll gladly put others in their place. They tried to insult my intelligence and it backfired.

- Vicki| 2 repliesReceive this call at my work every day. It's just an automated call from Heather Lockwood regarding serving me at my home or forced to serve at place of employment. States I must have 2 forms of ID and employer must be present to sign as a witness. Then gives the 888-587-7407 number to call to verify home address. SCAM!
