- Giz HolaJust called me in Calgary. I didn't answer and no message left.
- Tripping to get to the phone at 7 am| 1 replyKeep getting these calls from Globe & Mail! Asked them 6 times to take me off their list. obviously they are not listening so I decided to call their Publisher and CEO. Left him a voice mail about my frustration, will call him with an update everytime his "solicitors" call me...after I have asked them to remove me. Too bad I can't call him at home to reciprocate the follow up and perseverance of his peeps! Just saying.....

- Al replies to Tripping to get to the phone at 7 amKeep in mind it may not be the Globe & Mail. If you look at other comments in this thread it seems this number is being used by a number of different outfits, so it could just as easily be a phishing scam using the G&M's name. I get a call from this number every day at 10:30am so I assume it must be on a timer or something. Good to remember if my alarm clock ever breaks down.
- TranquilityI just received an unsolicited call from this number. No identification. My phone only rings for numbers that I program into it. As such I haven't had to swear at anyone for almost two years. It terminates out of province calls for 3 seconds then releases the line, however recently I was waiting for a return call from back east so I allowed all calls to go to the answering machine. After two days, the number of unsolicited calls have sky rocketed. I hope they keep wasting their time trying to call me. The phone will never ring.
- RPPressed talk, pressed speaker...line go on busy.

- SlowcarThey have been calling me many times per week for the last month and a half. A week ago, I recalled the number and used the option #1 to remove my number from their list. It's been a week now and I didn't receive any call from them yet. I kept this number on the blocking list of my Panasonic telephone, just in case they start calling me again.

Email address is: cmi@comtelmarketing.com - AlEvery bloody day at 10:30AM I get a call from these idiots. I ignore the calls but unfortunately I filled up the 12 spaces on Telus' call block service months ago and (get this) I can't actually delete one of the older ones without knowing the number that was blocked! How useless is that?
- Just MeCall 416-924-4410 or 1-888-924-4410. Pleasant voice answered "Tel com". I asked where they were located.---"Toronto"---so I said they were violating the do not call list. She immediately apologized and asked for my number so she could take it off their list. and gave me her name when I asked for it at end of conversation. Here's hoping!

- tom replies to Amie Ghow about, pick up the phone, tell them you don't want a subscription to the globe and mail, and would they mind terribly removing your number from their calling list.
- tom replies to joeeither read the messages posted on here (some of the other people are actually helpful), or answer the phone and find out for yourself, or try calling the number back. the worst that'll happen is that you'll be talking to a human being who's trying to sell you something you don't want.
- tom replies to Nick| 1 replythat's the best solution going, but it only has 30 slots in the "call block" list. i wish panasonic would upgrade the software to allow many times more blocked numbers! i'm even considering a second base station, if they can live on the same phone line, just to add more blocked numbers. (a pain in the neck to maintain as 2 separate lists, but it's still better than anything else i could find.)
and hearing it in action (one half ring, click, buzz, and silence) is so very soothing...
