I also have a Panasonic phone,Full of blocked numbers. so I started saving numbers to phonebook. I tell them under names crap then crap1 etc. (I am up to crap 8 so far) doesn't stop calls but least I know who it is and not to answer. Until the Panasonic upgrades, I hope this helps.

Since no name is listed, we do NOT answer.  When a newspaper subscription caller has come through I give him the following speech.  "We are on the Do Not Call List.  You may be exempt, but that doesn't mean we like to be pestered.
Therefore, even though, you are exempt, show some intelligence and research the DNCL numbers, and do not call
as you are wasting everyone's time including your own. It is commonsense.  Just because the dumbing down of society has advanced to ridiculous proportions, it doesn't mean newspaper subscription spammers have to be part of the dummy society."  Then hang up.

21 Nov 9:21 called.  Said they were from Globe and Mail.

Told them to shove that newspaper up their [***] and hung up on them.

Seen this number on our display far too many times, mostly Globe and Mail subscription.   Stopped answering.

I an sick and tired o these callers. They promis to delete your # from the phone list,  but never do!

If they think that repeated calling will get someone to buy they are wrong.  Thanks for call block it rings once then hangs up.  They don't give up they have been block for quite some time.

Nice ploy.  It didn't occur to me that credit card companies would have traceable phoney cards.  Thanks for this.

Bell telephone's  call block feature does not work on this number, "the number you dial is not available with this service"  ---- and it keeps calling every morning at exactly 9:30 am.    Very annoying.

I just a long distance call from this number, also I'm on the do not call list, but it does not help. Very  annoying.

Just another low life caller using business phone numbers to sell you all products from their supermarket. So I just let it go to my answering machine.  Now I do not pick up phone unless they leave a message and as soon as you hear they leave a message and the message is for you then you just instantly pick up the phone and say hello and you still have enough time to speak to the caller.  That's how I screen out my phone from those low life annoying caller.

Call again, my answering service machine would love to hear what your supermarket has to offer...!

Credit card company took the time to talk to you...and gave you a phoney card # - yeah right.....

First, you are saying you took the time to get a phoney card # (doubt it)...then you had the chance to have a 2nd call with this 'company that bothers you' - and you were even able to pass along the phoney #.....seriously?

Hate people that post things like this, instead of valuable info: "I am the man - look what I did"....when it is more likely you just hung up or ignored them...

This sort of thing will never go away - but the rest of us have to find this sort of crazy nonsense time and time again....

Just got a call from this number, didn't answer.  Saw my VM light flashing, so checked, but no message was left, but I did hear all the background noise of a call centre before the disconnect.

Got call from these idiots at 5:30 this morning.  Did not answer

Com Tel Marketing called about a promotion to resubscribe to the Ottawa Sun

ComTel telemarketing for Globe and Mail newspaper  subscriptions.  They are exempted from any DNCL because they are a dying media (newsprint).   These harassing calls will not prolong there survival but hasten it.  I will never subscribe to the Globe and Mail due to these constant calls and shame to the CRTC giving them an exemption from the "Do Not Call List".

Whoever you are quit calling.
