- ElizabethGot a postcard in Nashville, TN from EWS saying "we have a parcel delivery for you"--wasn't expecting a parcel, don't recohnize the carrier--looks suspicious, so I googled it on the intenet and landed here. The phone on the postcard is 1-888-727-2350.

- Dave in Nashville replies to JETGot the card late Saturday, but too late to call them back. I tried calling today (Sunday)and after letting the phone ring a while, got a recorded message from some woman's desk. Sounds like a "boiler room" operation to me. Thank goodness for file 13.

- RiffTwo cards hit our place in Clarksville, TN. No calls, perhaps since we were on the no-call list. Didn't know what the heck it was. Now I see the entire state has received these things. Can't someone put together a harassment lawsuit to put these people under for deceptive practices?

- cvillemamai got the card too. i filed a complaint with the FTC just now and i actually called the number on the card...didn't leave my name or phone number, but i did leave our mailing address (i'm fully aware that if they really want to, they can find our names/phone numbers with just our address) and i left the control number on the card and asked them to stop sending us their cards. then, since my card said that they are a BBB accredited business, i looked them up on the BBB website...and sure enough, they ARE accredited. it's EcoWater Systems of Middle Tennessee. here is the info from the BBB site:

My address was on a printed label on the front. There was no return address to see where this postcard was from. This sounded suspicious since I have not expecting a package.
