    Sorry folks. Because of the callers mumbled accent, I had listed an incorrect number. 888 739 9192 is the correct telephone number. I also had to call back, as this UNINTELLIGIBLE  THUG - DID NOT PROPERLY ID his company nor the reason for the call. The call went like this; "Hey, Yeah! This is Arnold, and it would be of your interest to call -888 739 9192, within 24 hours!" I called the number, and it was WESTLAKE FINANCIAL SERVICES. They are probably upset, due to my contacting The State of California District Attorneys Office, The Department of Motor Vehicles Investigations Fraud Unit, NHTSA and 2 Lemon Law Attorneys. I have sense forwarded this last message/call to the DA'S office for Los Angeles County. I was sold a total Lemon. I also found out that the car I had purchased, was originally driven in Oregon. The parts on the car, was sold to me via SALVAGED AND JUNKED PARTS. Apparently, Westlake Financial Services, is aware of this. PREDATORY LENDER - AND NO SHAME! Also, if you are in the Los Angeles Area, DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM = HOLLYWOOD AUTO BROKER. The owner is UNETHICAL TO SAY THE LEAST.

    To be fair, Westlake did not sell you the car. You bought the car from a bad dealer and it's them you should sue for selling the lemon. You should sue Westlake though for harassment because I'm guessing they're also blocking their number from the caller id, using fake numbers (I get calls from them using a local number despite the fact they're not in my state) and calling before 8 AM and after 8 PM (which is against Federal law). I've received calls from them at 5 AM before when payment was due that day. In fact they just called with their number blocked but because I have VOIP I checked the log to see who called and it was them.

    They just called me and my payment is not even due. No one left a message only got music and a hang up. They called me last month and my payment was due the next day. I have only been with them a few months and like Irriated will only be with them a couple more.

    They have been calling me 2 to 3 times a day leaving no message.  When I call back I hear some static then it sounds like the line goes dead.  I do have an account with them, but today is the 10th and my payment is not due til the 20th.... and I'm not behind.
    Relax Westlake.

    I too have a Westlake account and have been experiencing similar issues even though I am not behind on payments. My payment was due today, actually, and I paid it this morning, but they called me yesterday from a number that just showed as "323" on the caller ID. They called me from that one before when I was a day late on payment about a year ago.
    Also, last fall I was getting calls from them 2-6 times a day trying to sell me insurance. The number that called was an automated recording telling me to stay on the line, but nobody ever picked up. Upon calling the number back, it just rang and rang until there was a click like someone picked up and then the line went dead. I finally got a hold of someone after about a month, they called and surprisingly somebody was on the other end. I told them I was not interested and to stop calling me. (They were even calling my work number!!) It took about three more weeks for the calls to stop.
    My personal experience with this company has shown me that they are very unprofessional when it comes to just about anything!

    I, too, had an account with Westlake Financial. On August 12, 2010, I bought a new vehicle and the dealership was taking care of the payoff to Westlake. My payment to Westlake was due on the 12th, but I was advised by the car dealer not to make inasmuch as the loan was being paid off based on the amount that was due prior to my making any payment.

    Naturally I have been bombarded with phone calls from Westlake inquiring about my account.

    On August 19, 2010, I contacted the dealership where I purchased my vehicle and asked when Westlake could expect payment. I was advised that payment had been made to them. I, of course, had received a call from Westlake earlier the same day, so once I found out payment had been made, I contacted Westlake.

    Here is my conversation:

    Westlake: "This is Hector, how can I help you?"
    Me: "I was returning a call that your company made to me earlier today"
    Westlake: "What is your account number?"
    Me: I advised him of the acct. number
    Westlake: "How can I help you?"
    Me: "Again, I'm returning your call"
    Westlake: "I see that your loan was paid off, let me put you on hold for a few moments to make sure no more calls will be made to you."
    Me: "Thank you."
    ~~~~~ approximately 4-1/2 minutes on hold
    Westlake" "This is Hector, how can I help you?
    Me: "I was on hold, waiting for you"
    Westlake: "How can I help you?"
    Me: "You put me on hold to make sure I wouldn't receive any more phone calls"
    Westlake: "What is your account number?"
    Me: "Are you [***] kidding me?"
    Westlake: "I need your account number" "Who am I speaking with"
    Me: "Is this some sort of joke?" "you just put me on hold and now you're talking to me like you have no idea who I am"
    Westlake: "Is there something I can help you with ma'am?"
    Me: "Are you kidding?" "You don't remember me?" "You put me on hold 4 minutes ago"
    Westlake: "Is there something you need ma'am"
    Me: [***] you, you stupid piece of [***] .... you need more training .... **click**
    Thank God my loan with them is over and done with --- good riddance Westlake Financial!!!!
    I bought a new car July 24, 2010. I had traded a car in that was financed through West Lake Financial. The car dealer and I logged into my account and got the current pay off...which, the car dealership then cut a check the following day and sent off to West Lake to pay off my loan. Low and behold.....it is now October and I am getting harassing phone calls from West Lake idiots saying my account is past due. I logged into my former account to see they still show me owing $37.00 - for who knows what, AND they call me up to 8 times a day over this!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I contacted the BBB and an attorney before writing to them to let them know that I will NOT be paying them a dime and if they want to pursue it, I'll see them in court. Frankly, I'd LOVE to sue the [***] off these people for harassing me. I was reading the comments above, and I can assure you, I too got the phone calls when my account was not overdue, or even just one day late. These people are sharks, do NOT do business with them!
    This number has called 7 times this afternoon. When I answer, they hang up. Previously, I have told them that this is a place of business and we do not allow personal calls. Today, I told them that this is a place of business and asked them to please not call here anymore. I have received 2 calls so far after that request.
    I get calls from them all day long...one day, they literally called every 7 minutes for a few hours!  I was only a few days late on my car payment.  I am ready to report "Westlake" to the BBB or somebody that can stop this harassment!  This morning, they called twice in less than 5 minutes!
    I am getting repeated calls on my WORK cell phone, and I am NOT the person they are looking for!!! STOP calling my phone!!!! My number has been the cell phone number for my position, and for the people who held this position previously, for the last 11 years--and NONE of them are the person they are looking for. Apparently, there is an app that anyone can download whereby you can call someone and make it look like the call came from another number--which is the only explanation for this HARASSMENT! ...I keep thinking that if I ignore them, they'll (eventually) stop calling, but apparently not...?!?!?!
    I only got a US phone number 2 months ago and ever since I get calls by Westlake Financial on an almost daily basis. I don't know who they are... I suspect my number was previously used by someone who dealt with them. Such a hassle!
