    They are not obligated to follow FDCPA as they are not a 3rd party, They are your direct lender. FDCPA only applied to 3rd party debt collections. You should get your fact's straight before you make false accusations that other people may take seriously.

    I was harrassed aling with my family friends and neighbors. I becamr very ill and lost my eye sight, I psid a monrh ahead and try do a voluntary repo. I was told they were going to hurt my kids when they leave home for school, and they were going to set my apartment on fire with me and my family in it. I called the police and was.told they cant do anythinh until we were attacked. A year later a tow truck tried to run me off the road. I moved and they fou.d me... Is there anything I can do???

    They do not call before the payment is due! You are late and you know you are late! you are always late and the only way to get a loan is through Westlake. Pay your bills on time and you won't be called IT'S THAT SIMPLE!

    Backlash, you need to refinance your loan with a BETTER company! Obvisously you have a 800 credit score, that's why you got a loan through westlake!

    Westlake has called me for the last 3 years before my payment is even due, or even after I have already made a payment. They call super early and super late about 15 times per day. I also get a message each time on my voicemail in Spanish...30 voicemails in 2-3 days I have to go through and delete each one. I have never ever missed a payment and my loan is nearly paid off. I get called ALL DAY LONG starting the day before payment is due and even if I have already paid, from multiple different numbers. I wish they would at least check to see if I paid before they harass me all day.

    You must work for Westlake, because they do call 10 days before the payment is due and call several times a day! The customer service reps are always rude and called my husband a liar several times! They never want to work with you if your payment is late even though you are telling them you will make the payment. I have never ever heard of a company denying payments, but that's what they do and then they have the audacity to call you a loser and tell you if you don't pay today they're going to repo your vehicle. Westlake sucks! I am now documenting all phone calls from Westlake and will ask that they be recorded, sometimes they hang up on you when you request the call to be recorded. They ARE violating many laws concerning collection practices and I'm trying to start a class action lawsuit against them. Pay your bills on time and you won't get called is a total lie!

    I keep getting Robocalls from Westlake Financial, 323-330-888-9192.  It averages about 5 - 10 calls a day.  No one is there when I answer, just a loud beeping noise.  I have never had any business dealings with this company.  I have called the customer service # 888-739-9192 and 4 X and each person said that they will give the information to their supervisor and that they will put a block on the dialer.  It stops for 1 day, then the calls start up again.  I gave them the name of a person who had the number before I did (I've had this # 5 years).  Her name was Christine Nelson.  I have gotten so many calls from bill collectors for this woman.  The calls from the credit companies, collectors have basically stopped, but Westlake Financial keeps on calling!  I gave them the name of Christine Nelson, and they said that they have 4 accounts in that name - that must be why I keep getting calls.  I don't know what to do to make them stop!!!

    Westlake does call ahead of time, not sure why?  I.E. My payment is due on the 18th of every month.  Westlake just called and it is the 11th.  A "reminder" is not necessary, I drive my car everyday so there is a reminder, a bill is mailed to my home so there is another reminder, and I am emailed to "remind" me that I have an upcoming payment due.  How many "reminders" are needed?  So far I have been satisfied but would appreciate not so many "reminders" or notifications.  Thanks.

    I have a loan with westlake and they call 1 day before the payment is due as a reminder then every day 3 times a day till i talk to them and let them know ops i dont get paid till 00/00 and they can take the payment then... and GUESS WHAT... they stop calling

The use of predatory "reminder calls" is not professional or ethical business practices. If they don't acknowledge when talked to about their predatory tactics.

    Send complaints of predatory and abusive business tactics to all state and federal consumer protection agencies. They do not have the right to abuse and intimidate through the disguised use of "reminder calls."
