YOU work for Westlake?! Hhow pathetic! How are you able to go home at night treating people the way you do all day? Do you realize that some people that have loans through you do NOT have bad credit AND pay on time? Are you that much of a moron to not even LOOK at the past history payments BEFORE making that call? Or do you just follow what Tweedle Dee does because you are obviously Tweedle DUMB!!

Word of advice: Get your head out your A$$ and READ before you make that call to annoy folks.

Yes, this is very stressful. For a Year and a half  I've done my best in getting my payment in along with paying all my other bills and I'm getting by,  but unlike all my other creditors who when I tell them  I'll make a payment next week, they  don't continue calling me 4 or 5 times everyday asking again and again for a payment.  

Yes, it's our faults for being in  a bad financial position like half of America but that doesn’t mean we should be harassed and stressed especially when we are keeping in contact with the finance company.

Westlake Financial  makes Loans mostly with those who have less than perfect credit which means they tend to get away with these practices because we have little means to do anything about it.  I would  welcome anyone who would like to step forward with me to not always make that the case. I’m forming a web site were we can register our troubles with West Lake. This information will be given to an attorney  in an effort to file suit, claming damages and harassment with West lake. This will cost  you nothing. Our rights are already established  by law and it’s just a matter of enforcing those right .

My personal situation is, my payments are never more than 10 days late with the exception of one that was 12 days late, earning a “past ten day late fee“.  Other than that, they report my payments  to the Credit Bureau are excellent since rebuilding my credit through West Lake. So  it makes you wonder why they continuously harass me with rudeness and threats, claiming I’m a horrible person yet they report to the Credit Bureau a very positive report.

We have rights, lets protect them and better ourselves.

I wish I had hear of this site before I financed my new car .. I was struggling with poor credit due to a BK ... but as I rebuild, I bought a $10k car ... nothing fancy ...

The dealer got me financed through Westlake ... I've never been late with a payment but they proceed to call me non stop starting about a week before it was due!!  

Even after I've made the payment online, with their fee to do that I might add. they still call for atleast another day ...

I have never had an account with this company either, yet I still get calls after 9:00pm to 3 or 4 in the morning. All through the day! I don't even live in California. I have never leased or borrowed, so I'm getting a bit upset.

Ummm yes...Westlake Financial does harass people.... even before the payment is due....... we have always made our payment on time and they call the day before it is due.... crooks... shouldn't be allowed to loan people money.. had never heard of this company before buying my car and I will never after paying it off deal with them again.

westlake financial is horrible.  they harrassed my former place of employment and I wasn't behind in my payments and I lost my job because of their phone calls.  they called to solicit and my employer told them to stop calling as it was a place of business.  they were relentless.  The other thing westlake does is has several numbers that they call from and leave absolutely no message.  their customer service department is not something to be desired at all.  Hiring people who can not or will not speak the english language is a huge mistake on any one's part. I ask for someone that I can understand and they hang up on me.  they are liars, thieves and most likely a very illegal company that seems to be fronted by major car dealerships.  I know that Westlake financial is Larry Miller's Hyundai personal finance company.  So if you are in the phoenix area do not buy a car from Larry Miller.

You admit that you are annoying.  These people came to you to finance their cars.  You ran credit reports on them before approving them and now you say that you are annoying because of their credit.  Tell me?  Does it make you money to go running around repo their car instead of working something out?  Really?  So you descriminate and harrass people with bad credit.  Thank you for posting this as a Westlake Employee and giving the people opportunity to use in in a law suit against your harrassment.

Westlake calls me every month for the last two years & I have never missed or made a late payment...but they call non-stop.

I also was sold a car that was in an accented but was not disclosed to me. Lemon laws do not apply to used cars in CA. I'm stuck with a bent bar and constantly replacing the a/c condenser as a result WHILE I'm still making car payments to them. If you hear WESTLAKE FINANCIAL than do NOT do business with them.

you work for westlake LMFAO!!   your company is nothing but a mafia style loan shark.   Sure you help people with low credit scores but then you torment them when the monthly payment is due.  I had a loan through your company and one had to make a short payment of 3/4 of what was normally due, I called prior to actually making the payment to let someone know I had NO CHOICE to do so. I told them when I would have the remainder of that months payment on my next pay period 2 weeks later.  

It was ok for 2 days then wham  I started getting anywhere from 5-10 calls EVERYDAY asking when I would get the due amount, even after I told someone already when I would get it payed.  
My mother wrote down one day how many times your people called, 12 times on one day and 5 of those calls came all within a 15 minute time span.

Now you tell me that westlake doesn't operate with mafia loanshark style collection harassment.
Your so called great company does this crap to hundreds of people everyday.  WestLake Financial is SO FAR FAR AWAY from a great company it's straight up crazy.

I tell everyone I know to avoid WestLake Financial as if it was the plague and to find a better place to buy a car, like a dealership that doesn't cohort with abusive,harassing,insulting,unapologetic,indecent jackwagens like WestLake Financial and it's collection employees.

Westlake had my social security number wrong too.  After I notified them they said that I had to go to the ss office and fill out a form to correct it.  Unfortunatly for them I decided it was their mistake not mine since I sent them a scanned copy of my ss card.  Now that I surrendered the car and they cannot get money from me, they are harrassing me saying it is the westlake fraud department and they have an investigation over me.  Lol goodluck westlake

Change your phone number or they will harras you forever, its done by an automated program and if you don't answer or pay up they NEVER stop calling

I bought a vehicle through them 2 yrs agoand they call and call and call. I had it with them. I changed my number twice before because of them. I no longer call in my payments because even when you block your number they still get it anyway. Now, Westlake you will wait on snailmail. My paydays vary from month to month and unfortunately sometimes it makes me late. They started calling a week before it was even due.

Hi, I, too, have a loan thru Westlake.  I had bought a car where the dealership financed it, but when I ran into making a payment on time, they offered to refinance the car for me and get me cash back.  Yeah, you guessed it, it was Westlake. I was in a bind so we refinanced and now we have to pay for 22 months more on this car.  But the dealership lied and told Westlake that I had put $3500 down on the car, and it was actually being refinanced.  I would love to help you in anyway that I can.  I think my transaction was illegal.  Do you have any ideas?

I keep getting call from their automated calling service. When I pick up the call they just say I have some message and asks me to call back. If I call back, I have to wait for a long time on their customer help line. I have not taken any loan from them but they keep calling me.

Hey Westlake.  I do not have an account with you.  I didn't even know you existed until I found this board.  Be advised the state of Texas Attonery General will be contacting you.

Westlake calls our house 2-3 times a day.  I do not and have never had a loan with Westlake.  We have asked them not to call here but they refuse this.  The loan is with my son and not with us.  They repeatedly do not listen to what we say.  I try to give them my son's cell phone and they hang up.  Tired of this.  Now when they call it is a recording.  Hello, this is the same as calling my house and talking to me.  I do not have a loan and will never have a loan with westlake...
