- Maria replies to LindaHi, I am having the same problem. Casio started to harass me last Friday for a bill I paid in 2007.
I paid the bill for a Bay Area Credit Services. It was an ambulance bill. In 3 months, Bay Area Credit
Services billed us again for the same bill, saying that they did not receive our payment, it was credited
back to our credit card. I reported them to the BBB, it was a waste of time. They lied so much, luckily I have everything in writing.
Now, Casio wants to get the same payment the third time! I am so angry!
I told them I want them to send me the bill in writing. So far, nothing came from them.
I have all my receipts and complaints letters, so now I will go after them.
I am looking for people to start a class action law suit. Are you interested? - Maria replies to Mike| 3 repliesYes, you are right, just report them.
I have the same problem with them.
How about a class action low suit against them? - Maria replies to FranThat is a "nice" story. How could you stand to work for a collection agency?
It is strange that you are reading the complaints on a collection agency web site. - MODERATOR replies to Mad as Hell| 1 replyThe company in which you are referring, Capio Partners, only operates Monday through Saturday. It would therefore be impossible for you to receive a call on a Sunday. As far as your concerns regarding medicaid coverage for the service in question, if complete medicaid coverage information was not provided at the time of service, it was likely not billed correctly. This, unfortunately, falls back upon the patient to resolve in a timely manner else be held liable for the services provided.
- ?????I have been getting calls from 704-706-9346. They call 5 times a day and do not leave a message. I answered the phone and it told me to hold. I held the some guy answered real fast and then when I asked who this was calling he hung up. I called back talked to a young lady asking for my first name and no my last name. I asked what they do? She replied a lot of things. I told her to remove my number and she stated she would not and hung up on me. I called back and got the same person. I told her she hung up on me and she stated she told me she was terminating the call. I corrected her and told her no you did not. She proceeded to ask if I was this person and ask if my last 4 numbers of my social and gave someone else's last 4 numbers of their social security number. I was smart and recorded the phone calls and now I am turning this recording over to the state attorney on behalf of someone else behalf and going after them for harassment. I ask them to remove my number and they denied on the recording. I did tell them I was recording by the way. They should have the same recording. So the state attorney will here the same thing!!! If your calling me don't be rude and hang up on me!!!

- SpottingTheTrolls replies to rebutalYou are WRONG! Attempting to collect on a debt outside of the State's Statute of Limitations is ILLEGAL and punishable by FEDERAL LAWS.
Nice try Troll! - @Rebutal replies to rebutalYou are an IDIOT! The debt may not actually exist and still be put on someone's credit by a collection agency that changes the account number and the reporting times!
Did it ever occur to you that Capio Partners is a fraudlent company!? I KNOW FOR A FACT, that they are attempting to collect on a debt that is NOT mine. A debt that they purchased from another debt collector...a debt collector that I proved 6 months previously, that I did not owe the debt!
I suggest...little Capio troll...that you go find a REAL job and stop sticking up for a company that doesn't give a rat's [***] about you! - Army Soldier replies to MODERATORLook here CAPIO showed up on my credit report and i will be soon talking to JAG, Legal and the media along with my commander because the Army is provided 100 percent healthcare and medical benefits...so not only will they be dealing with the US army which i have been in for five years they as well be dealing with fedreal government and criminal investigation teams so I bid you good day
- JazThis company is VERY pushy - we called just asking for more information. They gave us some information, in a very rushed manner but made sure to take time to explain why we should pay now. The rep even went as far to say "well, i'm going on lunch, so if we could resolve this before then..." Serious...? I also made sure to call from a work phone. They were very adamant about getting a contact phone number even when we blatantly said "no".
We should all file a complaint with BBB. I looked briefly on the site, and it looks like they'd prefer to close all accounts that make a complaint so that they can get that BBB Accredited rating. We filed a complaint - let's see what happens! - snyper replies to former capioyuck foo...and the mule you rode into town on... shuckin' fill
- snyper replies to SERIOUSLYyuck foo...and the mule you rode into town on... shuckin' fill
- snyper replies to rebutalNo. It is up to th DCA to prove that you owe the debt ad that they have a legal right to collect it. Otherwise tell them to go thuck femselves.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
