Great Vacations call everyday. They appear as a unknown caller with block number on caller ids. They always leave voicemail on cheesy promotions. I ask them to take the number off the calling list. I file a complain on do not call. Each time the call, I keep filing complaints on each call. For each day they call file a do not call complaint each time. Hopefully with enough complaints,they can go out of business.

Olin from Diamond Vacations 1-888-886-3606 keeps calling.   I am recording the calls and date/time stamp for evidence should I need it.    This outfit lures new people into purchasing time-share properties, then uses the newly purchased properties (and the best) to present to new customers.  Some folks get scammed, but I think a time-share property is a pretty dumb idea anyway.

I got home from work today and had two messages from Olan.  So after Googling the number and reading this forum, I called the number back.  The first time, someone picked up and hung up on me.  The second time, a lady answered.  I told her that I had two messages from Olan today and that I was wondering if I could please be removed from their call list.  She said that it was no problem and asked for my number.  Then, I asked her for their website, courteously mentioning that I preferred to check out these sorts of "deals" (aka scams) online.  She asked for my area and told me to look up Big World Vacations.  Here is a link to what I found: http://www.bigworldvacationclub.com/Home.html.  I also found this document, explaining Olan's offer: http://vacationgift.net/assets/uploads/files/ ... tion_Letter.pdf.  Oh yeah, and the BBB gave them a C- rating: http://www.bbb.org/nashville/business-reviews ... lle-tn-37054178.  My advice is to call and nicely ask to be removed from their list.  The lady said it should take up to 24 hours; so, we'll see... I called the number and they booked me for a full week in Orlando at all the attractions. FREE. i am blown away. This was a great voicemail.

I got hung up on too.. hope it worked I'm only on day 2 and reading all these is making me scared that it might not work.. eh.

I called back their number like everyone else and requested my number be removed from their call list.  I am also on the do not call list.  The first time I called, the girl hung up before I finished talking.  The next time I called, I spoke very fast and repeated my number not to be called and I heard another voice in the backround saying "just hang up".  I plan to file a complaint on the donotcall site.

Be sure to go to the National Do Not Call List and file a complaint.  It is quite easy to do.

I am calling the FCC on these people.  Next step is COURT.

I just filed a formal complaint with the FCC!   EVERYONE needs to do the same!

this number called my cell phone and left a long and irritating message about how i get a free stay in hotel and free airline tickets. i looked the number up online and found lots of complaints so here i am... i can't stand it when i get calls like this on my cell. and i'm hoping if i just ignore them they will go away.

I've been told 3 times that my number would be removed. I got 2 calls yesterday and another one today.  Each time I told them to take my number off.  Today I told them I would be reporting them if they called again.  It may not matter...we'll see!

same story as everyone else. I'm on the DNC list and requested several times by pushing some # on the phone to be removed. I still get calls. I called and a man answered. When I asked to be removed a woman then asked me for my number and said I would be removed. I told her we've done this several times already and she said it would be removed. She didn't get nasty or rude. We'll see what happens.

Same as everyone else.  I called to have my number removed and I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call website.  Does anyone have a physical address for this company?

Same thing happened to me.  Just some lady says, "Okay, I'll do it for you" and hangs up.

They have called up to 10 times, I have asked to be removed from their list twice, and was hung up on the second time.  This is unacceptable advertising, it is against ethical and legal practice to continue to harass someone who has said no. No means no.

Everyone needs to start complaining to the no-call-registry every time you get a call from this bunch. Maybe the feds will pay attention and decide to do something. The problem is, when one of these phone centers is closed down, they just move to another town and set up again.

I've been on the do-not-call registry for many months past the 30-day waiting period in which businesses are supposedly "catching up" on what numbers not to call; this company needs to be yanked off the market as rude, unprofessional and harrassing. When I feel like going on a vacation I'll look places up; I've never used any company, service or directory that pesters me in my own home. This cpmpany obviously has a call center to avoid being blocked; there are several dozen slightly different numbers that are rotated on automatic calling systems. I went to the web site to have them take me off the list and there is no place for "contact us" for that. Sure, this is a legit business...

The recorded message they left on my cell phone claims that they have just opened an office in my area (Tampa Bay) and the message was about a Caribbean vacation.  The caller ID actually showed an 813 area code (813-387-0039).  I called that number and it says it has been disconnected.  The voice on that message didn't sound like the official phone company voice so I suspect it actually is a working number.  The message they left pointed to the 888 phone number in this thread.

I have reported the number to the do not call registry (https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx).  If you get the same message you should do the same.  This company has pulled this same "we've opened a new location" stunt all over the country according to other posts.
