Stop fartin in the wind by posting complaints on the web. I called the number and got a woman who said she was sorry and would remove my number from their list. PERSEVERANCE NEHEMIAH!

Have been receiving calls from this number every day for about six weeks.  I'm sick of it.  It is identified as "Unknown" or "Private" and when you call back, the number is no longer in service.  Strange!!!

Being on the "do not call" list does not seem to deter some telemarketers.  How I would like some protections against these annoying, invasion of privacy, phone calls!

Received two calls from Resort Plus Travel Club, first one I hung up, second one I listened to their offer. After "qualifing" and telling them I was in a domestic partnership, they asked for my wife's name. Told them that it was Henry and they asked me if that was short for Henrette. I assured them that it was my male gay partner. They then asked me if they could put me on hold so he could check to see if I still "qualified".Still waiting for him to return to the phone. Total discrimation.

They called back to confirm appointment, but under the name Proven Results.

Googling their phone number 813-864-0600, you get.

Maybe it's time for us to start 'ROBOCALLING" Olin at Great Vacations.  Is it against the law?  They are breaking the law.  Set up your computers to start calling 1-888-886-3606 and put them on automatic.  Fair is fair.

Today was the second day in a row that I got a long automated voicemail from William at Great Vacations telling me I could have a free vacation. He gave the 888-886-3606 number over and over in the message. My caller ID showed "Unknown caller." Today I called the 3606 number and told the woman I was on the Do Not Call registry and to take my name off their list. She kept cutting me off, impatiently asking for my phone number. It sounded like it was routine for them to get a call from someone irritated at receiving their unsolicited phone calls. She wanted to get the call over with as soon as possible--they weren't making any money off me, so why waste time apologizing or being polite?

I hope they are punished for the unsolicited calling.

Yeah... good luck with that! I asked them to remove me from their call list and guess what?!?! I am still getting robo-dialed! Every single time I am reporting it because I am on the do not call registry. Hopefully, that will do something. DOUBTFUL, but, it is worth a try.

I have Verizon, and I'm getting them too!

The calls come to my land line phone and I didn't vote for anything anywhere.  It is amazing how they are getting all of these phone numbers.  Mine is listed in the phone book but they do not address us by our name.

Call from "Olan" @ Great Vacations.  Great 6 day/5 nite cruise  "free", no obligation to buy anything, etc...  All inclusive.  Can leave out of Tampa or New Orleans.   Just opened a "local" office.  

As with anything, if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is.  Nothing is ever "free" in life.  

The message ran so long on answering machine it cut him off.   I also am on DNC registry!

Missed a phone call from 'unknown'. Got three text messages immediately after telling me to call back and receive my promotional vacation. THEN got an EMAIL ON MY GMAIL with the following text:

Terrible spelling and grammar; Obviously foreign. I'm on sprint with HTC Evo. Apparently I have a google voice account?

The SINGLE reason they ask for your phone number is to confirm it is a live, working number. They will add your phone number into their data base as a hot number to repeatedly call in the future using their various names so you don't realize it is the same outfit repeatedly trying to get hold of your CREDIT CARD NUMBER, which is their ULTIMATE OBJECTIVE so they can charge your credit card with huge charges that you will NEVER get back. The person you talk with gets credit (commissions) for validating your number as a real, working number. They have no intention of removing your number.

William is calling now from Vacations Services using the local number 813-425-0081. Left very similar message about "...being selected for a complimentary 5, 7 nights cruise...promotion is limited...call 888-886-3606 and...talk to Travel Specialist". I see people reporting this scam since 2010 and nothing is stopping them.

It appears that Olin is back up to his scam. Caller ID name Proven Results, Caller ID # 813-426-0083, Call Back Number 888-886-3606.  On pre-recorded message, Olin states that "Great Vactions" has just opened up new offices in my my town, New Orleans, and a nearby town in Mississippi and that I have been selected to receive a terrific cruise vacation package on either Royal Carribean or Carnival Cruiseline as part of the grand opening promotion.  Olin also states that they are having an open house to celebrate.  However there are no businesses named "Great Vacations" in any of these locations.  A quick search on "Proven Results" revealed a Call Center in Tampa, FL named "Proven Results Direct Marketing" 5200 Memorial Hwy., Tampa, FL 33615; phone # 813-884-0600.  I have unlisted number and also signed up for National DNC list.  Someone posted earlier that although they filed a complaint that the response was that nothing can be done.  It would seem that these scammers have found that if their message states that there is absolutly nothing to buy and no obligation that they can get away with this.  The trick is to get YOU to call Them.  Another business name "Olin" has used is "Big World Vacations."  Keep track of the phone #s,addresses, and business names this [***] and others like him use.  Press the FCC to stop this scammer tactic as well.

I just received a call for the first time from these "Vacation" people (813-425-0083) and they left a long message about how I have been selected for some amazing trip or whatever. The voice sounded warped and not at all like a person.  After reading a bunch of these messages, I am a bit worried that I'll keep getting these calls. I registered my number on the DNC list to be safe, though it sounds like that doesn't even stop them...

I listened through the recording, pressed "1" to speak with "Dorothy," and asked for her number. She gave me 888-886-3606, x119. She said she'd be in from 9 to 3. I asked what time zone. She said, "Florida." She said it was about 8:15 where she was, so I knew it was EST.

I want nothing more to do with this company. They have violated the do-not-call policy, using a recorded message before offering a live contact. I've reported it to donotcall.com.

i called the number. they ask for my name, and phone number. i gave it to them. the lady said ok, let me see where you're at. i said, can i ask you a question? can you please put my number on the do not call list? see said ok, this number here you just gave me? i said yes. she said ok, have a nice holliday. not hard, no issues thus far. i will repost if i get a call back.
