Rec'd message from these crooks today.  Since people have been reporting this outfit for 2 years now, including complaints to the Do Not Call Registry, it seems that Great Vacations doesn't have to comply with that registry for some reason.

I continue to get [***] calls from Olin at Great Vacations!  I'm on the do-not-call list; as such, I wonder why I'm getting these calls!!!!!!

That Olin is one busy a$$ hole.  He just left me a message from great vacations, saying that they just opened a division in my area and to celebrate, they are having a promotion for extended vacations.

Same exact story here. It's annoying.

I, too, am on the "do not call" list and got the phone call on my cell today  from Olin.  Very long winded offer for a free week long cruise and saying " no obligation" which is always my first clue.

"if it's too good to be true, it usually is". I don't answer calls I can't identify so maybe he'll get tired of talking to my voicemail

I have also received calls on my cell phone that is on the Do Not Call  list. I did not call them back after a message was left. They are apparently operating in the Ft. Myers, Florida area now as that was part of their message. I was asked to call back at 1-888-886-3606 for a no fee or obligation free vacation.

Same story, called back and a very rude "inner city"  woman picked up, whose only real goal was to get me off the phone when I told her I wanted my number off the list. She tried to put me on hold but I pressed on about removing my number. Eventually she said "What da Numba, fine! Gimma dat dam numba" but then after I gave it to her she refused to read it back!!!  Where the hell do these people operate out of a Church's fried Chicken restaurant! I knew she would get it wrong but I was put into a position of having to beg this person!! When she did read it back she was so quick I could hardly understand. I was pretty sure she wrote it down wrong, so I called back a couple hours later, same nasty ghetto person, same mind game, whats wrong with these people?

Does any one know how this specific company gets our numbers? I filed a DNC complaint and I am considering calling the FCC.

Why hire some one for a phone job that cant speak English!

Received a voicemail on my cell from Vacation Services and the called ID said unknown. They left a long voicemail and an 888 number to call them back.  After reading the comments on the website, I am going to call the do not call registry and FCC to report them. Don't know how they got my number.

I recieved a call, and pressed 0 to speak with someone. My call was answered by a friendly female who booked me for a travel seminar. I attended a seminar yesterday, it was fun! I recieved my free 8 day cruise and I have a year to take it! I am so happy I answered!

I'm US Cellular and just received a voice mail from them.

I received a call on my Sprint network phone from "Olin" caller ID showed: (813) 425-0083 offering a free 8day/7night vacation and included free flight from a couple of local airports. Olin left a message with a call back number of: 1-888-886-3606. I deleted the message and dont plan on returning the call.

I got this annoying call from some scam-artist jerk called "Olin." SCAMMER beware! I heard of someone who got ripped off $5000 from this scammer!

Obvious scam- received similiar call saying they opened a new location in Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater.  Which is it?

I, too, have been repeatedly called by this company about cruise vacations.  Typically, I get a call once a week -- but today they called TWICE!  I've called back and/or waited to speak with someone on numerous occasions to: a) tell them my number is on the federal 'do not call' list and requested that my number be removed from their robo-computer.  Nothing stops these people, however.  I just filed a complaint on the Federal 'Do Not Call' website and with the Alabama Attorney General's office.  What will it take for this harrassment to end?!  Will somebody do something to protect consumers?

Olin keeps calling on both of my cell phones; there seems to be no way to stop this abuse

Just got a first call from this number.

This number calls me four or five times a week.  Message goes on forever on my answering service.  I finally got through today to someone named Liberty who says she's the Verification Specialist.  Says they do have to comply with DNC.  I said sure, so here's my number, don't call it ever again or an attorney will contact you.  We have sued an outfit before, and won, so I wouldn't hesitate to do the same to Olin and his gang.

9/22/11-Just got a call from Olin at "Great" Vacations.  I call their 888-886-3606 number to speak to a supervisor.  After getting bounced around several times, I was disconnected.  I am on my way to file a complaint with donotcall.gov.  I have done this before with good results.  Everyone should do this!

Just received a voicemail on our house phone from Vacation Services and the caller ID said "unknown." They left a long voicemail about how they were opening up in our area (Gainesville) and left the 888 number to call them back.  

After reading the comments on the website, I am certainly not going to call them back.   I am already on the DNC registry and if I get more calls from them as others have reported here I will not hesitate to report them.

Don't know how they got my number.  I suspect some of this may be related to our own internet activities.  Often times when you sign up for clubs, freebies, newsletters, etc. your information might be given out to third parties whether you like it or not.  

That's why we pay the extra for caller ID and voice mail. I can just hit the DELETE and never really have to talk to them... :-)

Also got a call from Olin at Great Vacations. I am on the do not call list and just got done reporting the call on the website. From looking at the older post on this site I doubt it will do any good- apparently there are no teeth to stop this scam!
