Got long voicemail about promotional vacation offer and like most all others here, am on the do not call registry. The number it said to call was 888-886-3606 however my caller id showed a FL number 813-884-0600.

Chris is absolutely right!  I too have been receiving calls on my cell & I filed a complaint
with the FCC.  Dont bother w/ the National DNC, they're useless.  The more complaints
the FCC receives the quicker they'll take action.  You can file the FCC complaint online,
    its quite easy & quick.

I tried reporting them to the FTC... got a letter back from them saying (in the TL;DR format):

    "Sorry, can't help you"

I get these calls once a month... I just ignore them now and not feed it any further attention.

Well great.   Isn't it wonderful we have umpteen MILLIONS of dollars we are paying for the National DO NOT CALL Registry, yet they appear to be doing NOTHING when complaints are filed with them?

I see many folks got the same call I got today from 'Olin', and have filed complaints, MONTHS ago, yet the calls continue even today.

Folks, our government in it's present form is a JOKE.   If you are not part of the solution, you ARE the problem.

Vote Constitution Party, or another 3rd party candidate who is NOT a career politician.

Fortunately, I have VOIP phone service, and can blacklist incoming phone numbers.   You should consider doing this, so you can take matters in your own hands, rather than relying on your government to help.

Left a pre-recorded message on our business answering machine for "free vacation" nonsense. Called from 813-425-0080. Company name "Olin" gave was "Great Vacations".

Interesting that I see so many different company names from this one Olin guy.

Very annoying.  I just filed a complaint with the FCC.  These people have called several times over the past 2 months.  I usually hang up on them or they go to my voicemail.  I finally decided to speak to the rep who was very rude.  I started to drill her on who she was, who the company was, where their corporate location was.  She was extremely vague and rude and then asked me if I was calling about the do not call list.  I said yes, she asked my number and then said they would remove it from the list.  We shall see.

I received a "Robo-call" recorded message on my cell phone, which is on the National Do Not Call registry. CallerID showed incoming call from 813-425-0080, but the record message from "Onlin" with "Great Vacations" asked me to call 888-886-3606.

Calling  813-886-0080 resulted in nothing but fast busies. I called the 888# and stated that I had received a "robo-call" ... on my cell phone .. .which is on the do not call registry and asked to be removed from calling list. The guy who answered just simply stated "get off my line" and hung up.

I called back and got the same guy ... he stated it wasn't a sales call ... so Do Not Call Registry didn't apply. After I explained that was a record pitch ... aka .. a robo call which are a FCC violation and told him I was going to file complaint.

Well I guess the only thing to do is start calling them back over and over. Filing a complaint doesn't seem to work and since there doesn't seem to be a way to locate them and rip the phone out we should all just call them and hang up till they cannot make any more calls.

Received message today from "Olin" at "Great Vacations." It came to my cell on a Private Number, so I let the call go to voice mail. I have Google Voice so I have a transcript of the call as well as the message saved with time and date stamp. I did file a DNC violation .... now who else do I report it to?

Just received my first call from Olin today.  When I called back and started asking questions the lady hung up on me.  I called again and she started yelling at me and hung up again.  I called a few hours later and a man answered and I asked him to take me off the list.  Based on everyone else's experience, I'm doubtful I will be removed.

I'm wondering where they are getting our numbers from.  I set up some online gaming accounts through Bodog and Pokerstars last night and I got my first call the next day.  Did anyone else set up online gaming accounts?

I guess it's my turn.. just got the Great Vacations call, am on the no call list, and will definitely file a complaint.
Maybe we can narrow down the source.
I recently booked a vacation with cheapcaribbean.com, maybe that's the connection?
My service provider is Virgin Mobile, USA.  Does anyone else receiving the calls use a different provider?

Hi, I received a call from 888-886-3606 too. I didn't catch the name of the company or person.
They do promise a 7-night 8-day vacation to a 5-star condo with no obligation to buy anything.
I see these posts go back to 2008. I guess this guy just doesn't know how to take "no" for an answer...

I was getting calls from these guys either twice a day when not complaining about them or every 11 days with complaining tothe Do Not Call Registry.  Then on September 11th of this year, I complained instead to the FCC and haven't heard from them since (3 months now).

If you complain to the FCC, they'll want more information than the FTC did, as much as you can provide -- whatever websites, addresses and phone numbers associated with these guys that you can dig up.

I also just received a phone call on my personal cell phone from Olin and Great Vacations.  I am annoyed as many of you are about someone having access to my number.  I am also on the DNC list and until now felt pretty protected. I am going to file a complaint and then pray they never call again.

I first looked online (BBB) for this company in Alabama, then Flordia. I did not find them listed. I saved the info on my caller ID.
