Olin with Vacations.  Calling to offer free vacation to Hawaii.

Great vacations has called about 4 times and each time I press 0 to speak to a representative I get hung up on. I am trying to remove my number from this obvious scam.

Olen with Great Vacations who just opened an office in my home town... woo-hoo, I won airfare for two to any destination in US including Hawaii and 3 nights lodging. Mmm-hmm.
Call came into a company issued mobile phone (no prior business dealings- guaranteed!) which is registered with DNC list (no-no) and a recorded message (no-no).  Carrier is T-Mobile USA.  Filed Complaint at https://donotcall.gov/

Got the same message, but I don't think it was a "robo call" as the man in the message stammered on a couple of things.  Two free tickets to any major city in the U.S., including Hawaii.  No obligations.  Fly out of Tulsa.  It was to my personal cell, so I'm not happy.

I receive a call from Olin (with Great Vacations) once a month or sometime more frequent.  After the first few times of revceiving their automated voice messages, I called the number back and made it clear that I didn;t want to be on ANY of their marketing lists.  They then began calling with an "UNKOWN" number.  I will be reporting them YET AGAIN. Olin.... STOP CALLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Olan called me as well, new office in the Topeka, Lawrence and Kansas City area. Same BS about free vacation to Mexico, Orlando blah blah blah out of MCI. Called the number they left and demanded to speak with Olan as he was the one who left the message, of course Olan wasn't there so I hung up. From the sounds of it I need to file with the FCC or it's not going to stop.

If I find out whoever gave my number to these f*cktards, I will punch them in the throat.

Also shows up as 813-884-0600 only this one doesn't leave a message. I looked that number up and found another message board, that one referring to Olin with Diamond Vacations. I warn you guys to just not answer, it's gotta die down eventually if they run out of contacts.

I received the same call, and am also on the Do Not Call List. SO I wonder just how well this Gov't Do Not Call List is really working.

Receiving multiple calls on my cell phone.  I called back and nicely asked to be removed and the jerk hung up on me.

I looked on the web for "International Vacation Services" and found this information and  contact
details. The toll free number connects to an answering service which is a tip off that it is an odd business.  Seems a i f they just want to get you to attend a seminar pushing to join a vacation club which has a membership fee to use their condos etc.

We received a call today [2-18-2011] from an "Olan" or "Olin" re complimentary rd. trip tickets we had won for a 3 day's vacation trip.  The places this Olan-Olin listed were Reno, Las Vegas, Orlando, Cancun or Los Angeles.  When we asked for more details about this, the telemarketer asked us what age group we were in; that is, under 70, or over.  When I told this person we were senior citizens over 70, he stated we would not be eligible for these trips.  Okay, that's fine with us!!!!!!  Now we know this outfit is a SCAM!!!!!

I have gotten two calls to my personal cell phone from this company within the past 3 days. After ignoring the first call, I decided to investigate when they called me again.  Both calls were from "Olin" with "Great Vacations" who had supposedly opened up a new location in the Kansas City area and wanted to offer me a free 3-day vaction to one of several locations in the U.S. and Mexico, including Las Vegas, Reno, Los Angeles, Cancun, and Puerto Vallarta.  I, of course, was incredibly skeptical of this offer, since nothing is really ever free.  After typing in "Great Vacations in Kansas City area" into Google search, I came up with several sites about booking vactions for a trip to Kansas City, but no website for an actual travel company called Great Vactions, or any information about the company at all for that matter.  Next, I typed in "Great Vactations phone call offer" which brought me to this website here.  After reading a few reviews my suspicions were confirmed that this is indeed a scam.  Just to play a little bit of devil's advocate I called the number back (1-888-886-3606) to ask them for more information about the trip.  First and foremost the man who answered the phone immediately told me that the "deal" was only for people of a certain age and asked me if I was between the ages of 30-65.  Without answering him, I asked him for more information about his company, such as the address of this "new location" they had just opened.  At this point he merely told the name of a well-known street in the KC area, and asked me once again how old I am. I asked again for the address, to which he replied with a PHONY ADDRESS! I quickly confirmed this by doing a Google Maps search.  At that point, I told him that I was absolutely NOT interested in whatever SCAM he had to offer me.  He assured me that there was no such scam.  I replied that my phone number is on the DO NOT CALL list and that I do not want to be contacted by them again.  For some reason, he needed me to tell him my phone number with area code (which is odd, seeing as how they have been calling me, so they must have my number somewhere!) and then told me I would be removed from their calling list.

Not only am I incredibly irritated that this phony company somehow got a hold of my personal cell phone number, which has been registered on the national do not call list for a few years now, but I am also upset that they are willing to flat-out LIE to anyone who calls them back in order to get what they want.  I will be filing a complaint at donotcall.gov immediately after I post this, and I recommend anyone else who has been receiving these calls to do the same.  I only hope that telling them to stop calling me and filing this complaint will help, although after reading several things people have written here I am concerned that it won't.

EVERYONE BEWARE, THIS IS NOT A REAL COMPANY, THIS IS A SCAM!!

They are calling my cell phone number which is illegal and which charges me minutes.

Got another call.  This time from 813-425-0028.  Olin again.

Please delete my number from Olin Vacation calling list from your directory. This includes deleting my home # and cell #. Thank you!

Same story...called me three times from an unknown number, and left long irritating voicemails. I called the 888-866-3606 back and a man answered. I asked to be taken off the calling list and he was very nice about it, albeit sounding very bored. He said it would be removed immediately and that was it. If I get another call I will report to the proper authorities.
