I've never had any account with 24 hour fitness...I don't have any reason for a debt collector to call me, as I have few expenses and I'm current on everything. There's no reason for this number to be calling me. If anybody who owes 24 hour fitness gets a call from these 'people' I'd go to your gym and settle it in person...

Had my number since 14th Jan 2012.
I don't know them, owe them or need them.
Stop them from calling me.

This number called me 4 times in the last 2 days.  After picking, up the caller would just hang up...every time.

After reading this post, I logged into my 24hr Fitness account online and sure enough, it was past due because I forgot to update my credit card information.  You're smart enough to look up the number online, don't call the 888 number that shows up on your phone.  Give the company a call directly.  Look up their phone number online and make sure your account is up to date.

I don't owe any money and they call me, dumb ass!

Just got a call on my cell phone (which is on the do not call registry) from this number.
Didn't answer (cuz I don't give cell# out to anyone I don't know) and there was no message
left.

Calls my phone everyday 5-6 times a day!  An automated machine!  STOP CALLING MY PHONE!

This is 24 Hour Fitness and what is really frustrating about the half dozen calls I have received is I have a lifetime membership that was due on 4/28.  I called them on 4/17 8:59 a.m. and have the name and reference # for the call.  I told the Rep that I wouldn't get paid until 5/4 and would it be okay to send payment at that time, he said yes and told me I have 90 days after the due date to pay.  Why then have I received so many calls?  I called today and spoke with another rep who said it is an auto dialer but she would add another note in the system to hopefully stop the calls.  Super annoying.

Getting repeated phone calls from this # on our cell phone.  Very annoying.  We don't even belong to 24 hr fitness.

Call to my new (three month old) prepaid cell phone. Number is listed with DO NOT CALL registry. I get several calls a day from this number. I am not a member of 24 hour fitness and use my phone for emergencies only. This call is obviously automated but I refuse to answer. Have Tracfone LG800; any suggestion on how to block this call would be appreciated.

Got a call from this number today.  Just said "Please continue to hold", played some crappy music for 2 seconds, then said "Please continue to hold" again, then I hung up.

Reading through these posts, I'm not and never have been a member of 24 hour fitness.

here is away to not having to listen to these kind of calls

1-start a new contact name ( like maybe aaa111)
2-download a silent ringtone for new contact (aaa111)
3-have the annoying caller number (say 888-900-3194) placed under contact name (aaa111)
4-set the silent ringtone for say 8 seconds (two rings) and the go directly to voicemail

you can add as many numbers to the new contact name as you want
there is also a free download (call control) witch will also help this problem

I have been getting multiple calls a day from these people whom I have never heard of.  They think my name is Scott.  I do not have a fitness memeb]]bership!

This number keeps call and there is no one on the line. It take time away from my other work and brakes the grove I'm in. STOP CALLING

I recently changed my phone number and this 800# kept calling since the phone was activated. Its absolutely 24hour Fitness and its a legit number. However, if you are not in collections and want the phone calls to stop, call the number and then click Option 1 (the other options tells you to visit a local gym or call another 800# for unrelated services. I explained to the rep of the repeated calls and she asked for my phone number (so she could look it up in the system) and literally that was it. I did not have to verify my name, or give any other info - but requested the calls stop. The 24hr Fitness was kind and courteous and apologized for any inconvenience. Actually, she apologized many times. She told me it could take up to 24hours for the calls to cease.

We'll see what happens, but so far, I'm pleased.

I do not know who this person is so please stop calling.

Lori keeps calling from iseXXY wanting money.  I have no idea who this Lori is and I want her to stop calling now. She calls every day.

I got an email saying my membership was going to be closed if I didn't take action.  Called the 24 main line and they said that not only is my account current, but that they had no record of this phone number in their system.
