- todd| 19 repliesgot a card in the mail saying to call this number. Thought it was a scam so i goggled it.
- Tim| 5 repliesGot a card saying I missed a delivery from DMC Services in Deltona Florida.
I checked the BBB and DMC Services is a water filtration company not a delivery company and their number is 888-959-3886.
So whomever this a from is trying to be rather clever.
Not sure how they got my name and address, possibly from public records. - Social Worker2012I also received a postcard from these folks, so I called them. They wanted to give me a free bottle of Tide laundry detergent; however, they asked me too many personal questions like---how many live in your house, are you retired, or do you work. I hung up on them. Never give out personal info. If they want me to have a free bottle of Tide, they can leave it on my frontporch! They don't need to send me a postcard, and ask me questions. They also read my phone # back to me, off her caller I.D. machine; cheapy! Never give out your information, via phone or internet. Nothing is free, folks, except the air we breathe, and the weather!
Stay safe, stay private.- Caller: DMC Services

- JeffGot the same card, thought this seems weird, I never order things to be delivered. Checked here and glad I did figured it was some sort of scam. When will they stop this craziness?

- bigdaddyGAppreciate the heads up from all of you above. Got the same "delivery notice" card in the mail and could not figure out what it might be - but figured it was some type of scam. In the trash with it!!
- PookieI also just received a post card from DMC Services informing me that they have been trying to deliver an important package. My first thought was to look them up online and when I couldn't find anything that exactly matched the name, I did a reverse phone # look up and found this page.
- Eeyore| 2 repliesAlso got this postcard with this number and my BS meter flashed red. I found the following blog with additional information, for those who want more info on this scam...

Suggest you NOT call, even with caller ID block, as they have a toll-free number and thus can usually get your caller information even if you block it.- Caller: DMC Services

- Josh G. replies to EeyoreYep, same here. Got my notice today. Glad I came here first.
- TweetieI received this card today, Monday July 16, I called to say no one has tried to deliver a package to me, When?
He said give me your name, I said I will give you the tracking number that's all you need, I did not give him a name or address which he wanted, I should have came look this up first but I didn't, I guess now they have the number since I couldn't block it. Yes, this is some kind of scam junk. I only called because we are expecting a package from a company. - Stan| 2 repliesI got the card and called today. I knew it was a scam and wanted to call them out on it. Unfortunately I didn't realize they would be able to obtain my phone number even though I had turned the outgoing caller ID off (he read the number back to me). The guy said that some company called "Island Services" or something like that wanted to give me a bottle of Tide in exchange for some information (how many loads of laundry I do, how many people in my house, my occupation). Only after I answered them did he tell me that I also had to take part in some kind of water quality test. This was the point I called him out. I told him I knew it was a scam and DMC Services and Island Services (if they actually exist) are one and the same. He insisted his company, DMC Services, is just some kind of dispatch company that sends out the mailers and handles the calls for their clients. I demanded he delete my information and insure me that I wouldn't get any mailings/calls in the future. He told me he couldn't because they were simply the dispatch company. So don't make the same mistake I did by trying to call them out. Just throw out the postcard.

- TIna| 1 replyAs i waited on hold to "track my package" I googled DMC servies and read your post...Im hanging up. I just bought a new home and was surprised to see this piece of mail before I every moved my first box in.....somehting with my purchase must have triggered the mail out.
- Jan replies to todd| 1 replyI just received one of those cards for a delivery notice. Called them and gave the tracking number but when she started asking for all of my information I ask her why the tracking number did not supply that to her. She stated that she needed it to complete the tracking. I told her to forget it and hung up. Any t racking number has all of the information for delivery. SCAM.
- mmd| 1 replyI also just bought a new home and received the postcard yesterday. I have been ordering things so was nit the least bit suspicious. Called this morning..the answering message gave no company name (red flag),so as I proceeded to hold (your call is important to us..blah blah) I googled them and found this. Thank you all! I wonder if they'll get my caller id if I never connected?
- DEErecvd a delivery notice scam in mail today. stating they have been trying to deliver a package.. SCAM I never ordered a package
- Caller: DMC SERVICES
- LEOGot the same card. Contacted our local news services and did a story on the scam. We have to do this two or three times a year to keep our citizens from getting scammed. We tell them the same thing: you don't get nothing for free.
The internet still pulls in large numbers it's a sad time when their reverting to this.- Caller: SCAM
- docgI too received the postcard and because I was expecting an important package I called and answered some questions. When she uttered the word "Tide" I realized it was a scam. I refused to answer more questions and demanded that she remove the information I had given her. She hung up!! Very deceptive. Don't make the same mistake I did!
- JimI got the postcard today too. Didn't do anything with it because I didn't order anything, so I figured it was scam. And then I looked it up online and found this blog. Yes, never give any information to anyone you don't know.
- BruceI got a card from DMC Services telling me that they've been trying to deliver a package. My 1st thought was, just mail it to the same address the card came to... Then I figured it was some one just trying to gather or confirm information. The 800# reverse look did come up with anything. Then I checked DMC Services on line and found this site. You guys confirmed all of my suspicions. Thank You...
