- javalaw replies to Tim| 4 repliesdid you just buy a new house? I did and I have been getting their cards in the mail to. Plus the fact that I wasn't expecting any delivery packages to my home. They must read which houses close in the area and the try to get the new owner to take their services. SCAM.
not to mention, they have the correct address on the card on which it has my address..so why don't they just leave the so called package? - Slick replies to toddYou know sometimes you just get that gut feeling that something isn't right, I have received about 20 packages since moving into our new house havent had one missed notice; humm could that be because I work form home and know when they are coming! These people will never give up sad to see where our country has gone and the levels people stoop to, to get information form others! DESPERATION!! And then you have those poor souls on the phone that are just trying to make a living, most of them probably got duped too.
Read your mail carefully!!
God Bless - zb replies to Lori| 2 repliesthey are in east TN now
- puppymomGot the same notice today. And I do recv a lot of pkgs at my home. I know my delivery guy. He always puts them on patio. So I too suspected something. Looked here and found this. Thank you so much. I am older and disabled but I'm not ignorant. I am going to text our local news paper and advise them.

- LadyT replies to zbYes, they are in TN now. I got the same notice in the mail today also. I order things from time to time, but the packages always come from FedEx or UPS. They always leave my packages if no one is home. I had a feeling this was a scam, so I (like everyone else that commented) decided to "google" this so called company! It really pisses me off that you have people in the world trying to scam people. I'm going to call them, and give them a piece of my mind. However, I will not call from my phone. I'll wait until I go to Wal-Mart and call from there. I just feel like I want to get them back you know??? It will make me feel better!!!

- SteveI called the number and they said thank goodness you called because we're trying to deliver three bars of gold and a new Ferrari to your house and just wanted to make sure we had the right address. I confirmed the address and the next day, the gold and the car showed up at 10 AM! I was so happy - with my new riches I could afford to move to a fancy new neighborhood and buy a mansion. Just moved in two days ago and now I got another postcard saying they have an important package to deliver to me...
Well, that's probably what would have happened if I didn't read this website and throw the card out. Guess I'll never know.- Caller: DMC Services
- RichYep, received this card today in Pennsylvania. Threw it out. My wife is home all day with our baby, so we would have known if a package was trying to be delivered here. Glad I checked here anyway, to confirm my suspicions.

- AngieAlso received post card. Recognized as some kind of scam. We've been in our house for a couple of years, so that may not have been the trigger, but we did just buy a new washing machine. I wonder if that is the trigger? If so, I'd be really PO'd at the place I got the washer from for selling our info.
- larrygot the same card, was waiting on hold for 5 minutes before switch to "I'm sorry, there's no one avaialble to take your call" and was disconnected. I was ready to give them my ex's info, lol

- X002077I just moved to a new home and after a few weeks I also received one of these index cards telling me that I missed a package delivery. I read this blog first but then I had a few minutes driving home so I called the number and gave them so much bogus information and kept them on the phone for over 10 minutes before THEY hung up on me. I called back immediately and got the same woman and after less than a minute she hung up on me again. PRANK THEM...
- anonymous replies to EeyoreFolks, comment #172 on that knarrnia blog link describes what happened when an unsuspecting homeowner fell for the scam.

- DavidWe are in PA and got one of these cards from DMC Services today Oct 19, 2012 saying I had a package waiting. Never bothered to call, as I did not want to "take the bait" and give them my number, so instead gave the cards to my cousin who works in Consumer Fraud Investigations for the State of PA. She said they have NUMEROUS complaints on file against DMC Services at 1-888-959-3866 for aggressive sales and marketing and deceptive business practices targeting mainly Senior Citizens. The company wants to do a test of your tap water system and then gives you scare-stories about how 'bad' the water is in 'your area' and how it can be fixed with one of their $4000 filtration systems. While not quite a scam they are on the same level with Amway, North American Power, Nutri-Systems and other "hard-sell" aggressive tele-marketing companies. If you get one of these cards her advice was to tear it up throw it away and do not call their number.
