if you have cell phone with android o.s. get the program "extreme call
blocker" it will block all call you set up in it and no voice-mail
plus make a blank wave. file and you will not here the call at all lol
good for us bad for them and it can show call log.
they can call 3x from 8:30am 9pm M-F set 9am-6pm sun 4pm-6pm
and that can give you 4 voice-mail max a week in Canada bylaw look-it-up
you don't need to ever answer the phone

Hey guys!

I have been getting continuous calls from this D&A corporation. Previous voicemessages left on my cell phone said "This is an urgent call from D&A corporation. This is NOT a sales or telemarketing call. This is in regards to an URGENT business matter that requires your immediate attention.... blah blah".

I'm not worried about these calls.

The other day, the same company called, except it was a woman who said she was calling from the "auditing department" calling and left a contact number with no further information.

QUESTION: Has ANYONE out there received the SAME call? And if so, please help! If anyone has followed up on this call.... does this mean I am, IN FACT, being audited???? Or is this to collect some information for other reasons? PLEASE help... I don't know what to do!

This guy is TROLL, don't pay attention for his blah-blah.
This is dangerous crime organization worked AS collection agency.

I keep getting these phone calls, they actually misnamed who THEY are...Only figured it out after I looked them up using thier phone number. I have NO outstanding money issues so why do they keep calling? P)reviously it was said that they are a collections agency for TD canada trust. As a minor over 12 yrs ago I closed my account with TD-basically they were trying to say I owed money on a junior savings account-my reply is: i didn't have an overdraft or anything like that i was 12 yrs old when i opened the account and i closed it when i was 15 yrs old...So w.t.f? I believe they are a scam. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO TO THESE JERKS! As they call around 6 am sometimes when i question them what its about and why haven't i recieved anything in the mail stating what is the problem, they say i know what its about and i need to rectify the issue.....WELL if i knew what the issue was and had something in WRITING i could go about handeling it.Still i've recieved nothing in the mail, they can't even explain why they are calling me! BEWARE OF THESE PHONE THUGS!

Called me and line was empty when I answered.
New phones allow blocking incoming call numbers even when their number is not displayed. One that can do this is Panasonic Expandable Digital Cordless Phone.

Its horrible, I told them i dont need the harrassment and the woman starts saying do u even know the definition of harrassment and every time i tried to speak she would say huh huh do u know the definition, so i hung up called back to talk to the supervisor and was transfered to the voicemail of the same person who called me beforehand. Its crazy.

continually calls and does not leave a message...3 times  a day at the same time...8:45am...around 3pm and in the evening....totally irritating without a message I cannot respond....
please have them  removed

i am tired of these people calling my house 10-20times a day very annoying when no one else is on the other end its just dead, quiet then a few times its the same lady and shes like no this is my first time calling ever, like ya ok i recgonize the voice and then she starts yelling at me and im not even the person she is wanting, she cant name anyone in my household that she wants to speak with, just the phone number comes up with Unknown Name

I'm sick of them calling my place, especially for someone who DOESN'T even live here. I work rotation shift work, so from week to week I am sleeping at different times. Sometimes when I am working night shifts I'm dead tired cos they keep waking me up, and every time they leave a msg, or when I pick up they always ask for someone who don't live here, and they always keep saying that they will remove my # from their list and 2 or 3 days later they call again...........WTF? What part of THE PERSON YOU ARE LOOKING FOR DOESN'T LIVE HERE DON'T THESE IDIOTS NOT UNDERSTAND?

They are like telemarketers..they have a list of numbers they call..try to get you to give your name. Once you do..they have that and your number. They then search for any monies owed by you...if they find some..they start the harassment. NEVER EVER and I repeat NEVER admit to these slimeballs that you owe money. If you do, it becomes THEIRS and the statute of limitation begins again..letting them start charging interest and possibly suing you...so NEVER EVER SAY YOU OWE..even if you do. If they know your name, number, address and insist you owe..DO NOT say anything..tell them to mail you proof that you do.
Say you owe visa and these a**es call you. If you admit you do, any monies you pay to them is THEIRS..it does NOT go to visa..as it has already been written off by them. These 'non paid' accounts are bought by these sleezeballs for pennies. So don't fall for intimidation and ADMIT NOTHING!
It is also illegal for them to call your employer, friends, family etc and they are not allowed to harass you...record everything!

They keep calling me, however I DO NOT owe any money.     I have an excellent record!

They always ask for someone whose name starts with the same initial than mine one, and my last name.   I figured out that they just found it on the 411 directory, and assume that I am the person they are looking for.    Again, last name is the same, but not first name.

This really bothers me!

I have to be the only person who actually had a good phone call on this forum. i owed overdraft on my td account, and when it reached its limit they closed my account and put me to collections, D&A called me a few weeks later and when i explained what happened he was happy to work out a payment plan and actually reduced my debt, ive had bad experiences with other collection companies, and know they can be extremely frustrating, guess i got the only friendly collection agent in canada lol

I have been receiving calls from them and I don't owe anyone a red cent.  They have left one message, and did use my correct name, but I haven't given any collections agency any reason to be calling me.  I do have a TD/Canada Trust account but I have never, ever been in an overdraft situation or had debt issues with them.  There is plenty of money in that account and I don't have a credit card from TD.
Does anyone know of a decent iPhone App that can block numbers?

Next time they call tell them to send you the original order of indebtedness in its original form. Which mean you want the original debt. They do not have it ...why??? They are a collection agency who bought the debt. So tell them you do not and have not ever occurred a debt with them so you will not do business with them. They bought the debt from the original debtor.

received a call from them this morning at 7am.  They claim to be a collection agency, and they very well may be, but I'm doubting their legitimacy, as I have no accounts owing any money with anybody.  This is a little suspicious to me. Until I receive a formal phone call or letter from any of my credit companies or banks, I will not be speaking to them.  I recommend you do the same.

This is a collection company answer the call tell them you know how the are because you now know it is in fact D&a collections and if they continue calling you will file sue under unjust harrasment laws for ontario.And if you do have an old debt ask for comfermation of said debt if its older than two years and they haven't sued you they can't do anything as of the new statute of limatation laws state!
So goood luck with these dim witts!

Before you do any of the above ask for comfermationof said debt when actually date of default payment.If over 2 years they can not do anything under the statute of limitation laws that are now in effect for canada !

They have called continuously and are demanding money. This seems like a scam, considering I have no idea what this "company" is. I have read through several comments but I am not clarified if it is truly a scam. What are they suppose to be?
