They are calling for another person. Not me. I have asked many times for them to remove my number. It is NOT me they are looking for

As they want to identify you you ask them to identify them I'd they just tell you that I am just the D&A collection agency you just tell them it's not enough and she gave me the number as well to call td bank with file number which also sounded very legit but call the td or whoever directly not the number they give you. Very rude on the phone but tell them right on their face that I do t speak to the ride person and I will take care of this matter by myself. Take all the information they give you and report to police and your provider for which they are calling for.

Called this morning  using names as if they knew who lived here.  Wrong names.  Gave an 'officer' name and extension number to call back .  Said it was 'TD' inferring a bank perhaps. They are luring a person to call back and say 'wrong number' and then they know they have a live victim who will respond.  They have access to lots of numbers. Do not answer and block them if you can.  They are getting very aggressive.

Haven't actually picked it up before.  They call my business phone number after hours 2 or 3 times within a few minutes (last night it was 6:26 and 6:29, blocked number the first time) and never leave a message.

They called a few months ago when I was in the office and asked for a woman I had never heard of.  When I explained this was a business and she was neither an employee, nor a customer they said they would delete my number from her file.  Obviously they didn't.

above people, thx for your assistance...yes, identity theft COLD callers.   DON'T be fooled by professional, polite lady.  she's asks to verify your name, DOB, address...provide none, verify none, keep them guessing.  claims she was Lowes collection agency and needs to QUICKLY verify your personal info. - slow them down...ask them questions like validating their company, etc.then, hang up.     call local mpp and complain to your phone company.

Called twice this morning before 8 am but hung up as soon as I answered the phone. Have no idea who they are or why they are calling because so far no one has spoken to me. Very annoying to be jolted out of bed early when you work nights only to have the party hang up on you.

I don't even care if they call me personally; D&A are calling every person I know with the same surname - so i want to stop this practice that D&A use to shotgun phone looking for a specific person. This is the blowback you deserve. And more. En Masse!!

Now that I've got your attention (Sorry to Dorger and Ross, they 'engaged' me and got quite an earful) I want you to stop calling everybody in your millions of clients (says Ross) with this shotgun approach. because you are wasting the time of everybody and you do not stop even when we call and ask nicely!! I know, I did!!!!! They continue to call, for months!!!

called , strong east indian accent, left a message about being from TD Canada trust and having a file opened for me, urging to call a 1 800 number.    I am sure it is not a collection agency, but a scam.   I even do not have a TD account.

dna was sued a few years back and lost for breaking laws and harassing people and calling wrong people and got a strick warning seems they never learned from it they call after hours still witch is illegal in canada and call more then 5 times in one day witch is illegal i know in nova scotia it is but they never learn from their first law suit a class action one that thye lost.

I suppose they figure by pulling a heavy it'll get them what they want ( cash & LOTS of it), the sad truth is there are many, the majority being seniors who are actually bullied into reciprocating .

They NEVER send anything by mail before calling and harrassing you.

Absolutely NO legit company  would ask for your personal information, unless of course you're calling your bank, mobile carrier, .etc, and even then they are ONLY asking for your mother's maiden name, confirmation of your date of birth, but NEVER EVER is your S.I.N number asked for and even if it is, a legitimate business allows you to decline such information.

Harrassment and bullying are against the law, and you quickly realize that they are fraudulent.

They are a bogus corporation , so just block them, even though it ONLY stops them temporarily, and soon after their calling from a different number.

This is a serious problem and it shouldn't be taken lightly, and I feel it's a matter that should be taken up by the F.B.I's fraud department because it's heart wrenching knowing our most vulnerable are being taken advantage of.

I can only hope that the more we report these people, more of them will be stopped and have to suffer legal  ramifications, in the meantime all we can do is report them and block them from calling you again.
