I also received this call today - don[t know where they are getting their into but they are way out of line.  I think they are using old debts and trying to scare folks into paying them some money.  The lady said she was a private investigator - could hardly understand her.

I called back and all I got was music.  I am not paying them anything - besides they are out of state and to file anything against you it has to be in your state of rresidence after they prove the debt.Ar

I called them back several times and harrassed THEM.  the guy even asked me "why do you keep calling me?" and kept hanging up on me...then he transferred me to another guy and I just laid into him, too.  ....I will continue to harrass them for ALL the good folks on this blog because they shouldnt be allowed to get away with this.

if you decide to answer the phone have fun with it.  make jokes...insult them...ask where they got their law degree....the last thing they want is someone standing up to them.

This company is a scam!!!! If you receive a call from them record the message and call your local Police Department. They are not located in North Carolina, they are in Ohio. I know for sure that they have offices located in Cleveland, and I believe they have offices in Pittsburg and Columbus. If you receive a call from them please do not give them any of your information.

THIS IS AN EXTORTION SCAM. Scammers pretend to be law enforcement (police, sheriff, Feds, AG's Office, fake cop agencies with made-up names) and may be using bought/hacked loan application data to extort money or personal info for fictitious crimes.

Ya my boyfriend and I both called them back several times a day for about a week and harrassed the HELL out of them. We threatened them, called them names, told them they were a scam, basically got real nasty back at them. I would call and ask them ?'s about where they were located. I was told Houston,TX one time, then was told the next time they didn't have any offices in Houston. When I would call them out on their lies they would get toungue-tied and stumble over more lies to try to tell me. One guy actually started laughing at my b/f one time and then started fighting back with him on the phone...how professional...wait they AREN'T professionals by any means. Everyone needs to call them back...harrass them. Make them want to shut down their pathetic little money making scam.Ya payback IS a MFing B@#$H isn't it?

Sounds to me like they are just relocating. Things got WAY TOO hot in NC so they are shutting down shop and moving elsewhere until they have to move again. I did alot of research on these people...THEY DON'T EXSIST!!!! There is an office in NewYork...totally legit...not affiliated WHATSOEVER to these scammers...but they are NOT located ANYWHERE outside of New York. I've checked with the BBB. They are listed but not BBB accredited. The BBB rep I spoke to also said they it was a scam. What a bunch of pathetic losers...can't go out and earn an honest living...can't go look for a job cuz they are TOO LAZY!!!!! Well "what goes around comes around...usually ten-fold"...so good luck to you scammers...hope payback on you isn't too harsh...hope you do go to hell though...there's a special spot waiting for you there...for you and people like you!!!

These people called my father... who I have not been in contact with for many years.  Left a message that I have a restraining order and that I will need to go to court.  I just got another call from a company such as this!   Thank you for your posts!  After more research... I found out that this is a SCAM and is registered as a scam on the BBB for NC website.  These people contacted my father because we have a rare last name.  The funny thing is that I have been in my house for 2 1/2 years and if you google my name, you can find me on your own.  Bad "investigating" by these "special investigators."

    not important
I've received the same call twice now in a matter of months and it's pissing me off. The first time, he wouldn't even say what my last name was or give any information except to call another number. This time it was THE SAME GUY leaving a message on my machine and didn't even have my last name right. Both times he said I have to appear in court due to a restraining order. Well shi*** for them I work with kids and have a nationwide background check done so they can blow it out a rat's butt! I read you can go to your local police dept and file a complaint but what good will that do right? Does anyone else know of a way to file something against them because this is ridiculous!!

Got two calls on today (Mon., 6/6/11) asking for someone I do not no, they suggested this is the home number that was in the application, so happen the number that was called is a cell number. I explain to them that I was going to report them to the State of Florida Attorney General's Office, why would you give me personal information on a person, i do not even no, that's illegal. Caller would not even give me her name and said if I did not pass the message on to ? within 24-48 hrs they will be subpoened and she hung up. I knew it was a scam from the beginning.

I received a call today from this number, as did my parents at their house this morning as well.  The caller claimed his name was Special Investigator Walter Curry.  He said I have a restrainging order against me and I need to call back within 24-48 hours.  The funny thing was he called me by the wrong last name.  I have never had that last name!  What a joke...Don't be fooled.  These people are extortionists!!!
