    Dear "The Second Collector,"

No one, and I mean NO ONE, ever resorts to obtaining "RESTRAINING ORDERS" for what you call "broken aggreements or business tides" #and what in the heck is a "business tide" anyway?#.

Your assertion that people here "need to get the situation resolved" and that "No matter what you want to approach it" is the WORST POSSIBLE advice to be giving anyone here. Clearly these "callers" are just getting people's phone numbers from credit header info, which can also contain relatives' names, addresses and phone numbers if requested from a zillion public records search firms, then trying to extract either yet more info #like their entire SSNs# or better yet, get them to "settle" debts they have no right to settle or which are probably not even owed in the first place. Using phrases like "restraining order" or "court order" are just scare tactics and nothing else.

Your rotten advice, as well as your control #or lack thereof# of the English language and your use of its grammar makes you HIGHLY SUSPECT. So leave these people alone and SHUT UP and GO AWAY.

And for everyone else - NEVER call these people back. NEVER! If you want to report them, fine. Report them. But calling them back only gives them yet more info whether you realize it or not. If you happen to answer a phone call and its them, tell them you are calling the North Carolina State Attorney's Office as soon as you hang up and make THEM sweat a few bullets.

I have had heart surgery and have been very ill
and to get this from these people
we need the Federal Bureau Of Investigation that our tax dollars pay for to get on this
we are punished in this country for the things we do that are not law abiding
we need to make sure our President, Sennate and Home Land Security are on this as it is taking hard earned money from us work force citizans .
This is Crucial to make sure this stops
telling me i had a harrassment charge against me / and legal aid was needed and then going as far as to say my bank account had been frozen
cld these clowns back and 45 min i sat on the phone and to no avail and then got a voice machine

this is by far the worst you can do to a person and the government is not doing anything about it but spending money in other countrys and skyrocketing our needs here to still have to deal with the the over seas mess

I agree with you rnashville , is just stupid " yes stupid tht our government won't do anything about this .
Since the calls are mainly coming from Carolina " North and South " the attorney generals office needs to take this [***] seriously!
What a wast of technology / we are in that we have so much inner security and ways of finding out where people live what they eat/ wear etc. that the government says we can't find them then they need to change the damn collection laws and trace the calls to our
#'s and go after them , there is gps trackin isn't there
and to the collector on here you need to take your ass on somewhere else you uneducated , pompus , punk
" Trust me you will get caught and by the wright people at the right time "
just another way for people who have no life to steel from others and hide for a while while doing it
but you will get caught .

I received a message via my cell phone from a woman annoucing she was a special investigator and that I had a restraining order issued and that I was being required to show up in court for a show cause hearing.  Unfortunately for them there are 4 attorneys in my family and when I let them listen to this call they told me it was luticris.  I ignored them.

I received a call marked private and did not answer but caller left message:  she state my name and identified herself as Stacey Boone or could have been Daisy, and she mentioned that a complaint had been filed against me and mentioned the affidavit # and that iether my attorney or myself have 24 - 48 hrs to contact them and i have to appear in court and there's a restraint.  she left a call back #919-408-7049. and also mentioned if i feel that i received the message in error to call her immediately so she could remove my number for the call list.  I know for a fact that anytime there's any court order any individual person will receive notice in writing and you will be personally seved with the legal documents, and most defenitely you will not receive a call and not especially from an unknown #.  Don't bother calling back this is defenitely a SCAM. I didn't bother calling back but did search the callback number immediately and felt I should report it.

I recieved the same phone call yesterday and they even called my bro-in-law. I did give them my info, however after seeing this today, I contacted my bank and we are having to close my account and reopen another one. I called this place back and told them that they were scammers and they of course said they aren't and I asked for them to stop any precesses on my account and if they do I will sue them for fraud and harrassment.  I asked for them to email me the info on this account. They sent me a letter they made up on Microsoft Word. I feel very violated and stupid. At least I have time to close my account before they can make their first with drawl.

I am sending this to the attorney general as well.

Calvin Reynolds "Special Investigator" called claiming me and my lawyer needed to contact them regarding a restraining order that was being filed against me. He used the call back number "919-408-7049" and had an affidavit # and everything.

Do not give these people any information. They have tried these kind of schemes before using all different scenarios. Always check your sources.

I am glad I searched the Internet for the "contact number" before I returned the message. I came in to work this morning to find this message on my voice mail:  "This is an urgent message for _________; My name is Peter McKinley, special investigator. I am contacting you in regards to a complaint being filed against you pursuant a claim and affidavit #ASP-2269 where you have been named a respondent in a court action and you must appear. There is a contact number on file for which you must call, 919-408-2269. Please forward this information to your attorney and that the order to show cause contains a restraining order. You or your attorney will have 24-48 hours to oppose this matter. Again, the affidavit number is ASP-2269."  It has occurred to me that I would have used my cell phone to call them back and then they would have had THAT number to try to continue to scam me. Glad I did not return their call but I am calling the North Carolina Office of the Attorney General using the number one of the other posts supplied--(919) 716-6000.  Thanks for the heads up.

I was on vacation and received a call from the above number stating "THIS IS SPECIAL INVESTIGATOR MICHAEL MEADOWS CONTACTING ME ABOUT A COMPLAINT FILED AGAINST ME AND I NEEDED TO CONTACT THEM IMMEDIATELY AND FORWARD THE INFORMATION TO MY ATTORNEY",   Being startled with this type of messaga i immediately called the number and was given an option to press"2" if I received notice of a pending action.  Of course no one answered and an answering machine came on and I left my number regarding the message.  Now that i have seen this info I'm afraid that was a mistake. I will call my phone company ti block this number.

THis place has GOT to be a scam because I know the company that is located at the address they give which is 3800 Guess Rd and it is NOT United Arbitration Process Services. And there is only one 3800 Guess Rd in Durham that isnt linked to a suite and also a man there gave the suite as a number which is false bc the suites in that area go by letters!!! I hope these people pay for all the harassment they have caused!! and apparently the # that is being called is a call center for the so called  "company" and they arent actually located within this "company". Thats why they cant provide any answers and also when it was asked to speak to their supervisor they are conviently at lunch.. WOW!  I recommend that you all report this place to the attorneys general!! They arent even listed as a compnay in NC. SO that means they dont even have a license as a company, not that i could find anyway!!

Got a call from them this morning - tried to call back to ask the following questions:

    1. Jurisdiction order of arbitration is out of
    2. Name of law enforcement agency they are representing
    3. Their badge number if with law enforcement
    4. Their full name
    5. Mailing address to have my attorney respond to
    6. Business tax ID number

So far, I have not been able to get a hold of them - all of their operators are currently busy. What a shame - I was looking forward to this call. I will try again later.
