I just got a call from this number and the guy who left the message said he has left several messages(not true) and if I don't call by 1030am tomorrow that there would be no need to call. Very mean sounding. Glad I looked it up and read all the messages from everyone.

I got the exact same message from the exact same guy stating the exact same thing. Totally bogus!
Call the BBB and report them.

I keep getting harassing calls from this number and do not wish to receive anymore.

I just got a call from them stating they were CPS and if I don't call back by 10am don't bother I will be going to jail. Knowing I have not done wrong I will not be calling back since they didn't even know my name

I received a call from them today same message.  The attempted to contact me several times.  If don't call back today then don't bother.

I have had the same experience as the others in this post.  They only called once and stated that we should call back by tommorrow by 10am or don't call back.  They don't ask for anyone by name. I don't have any credit issues either now or in the past.  I have no intention of returning the call and being treated as rudely as they left the message.

Got the EXACT SAME MESSAGE!!!!  And I don't have any kids!!!!  Scam.  Somehow, this garbage has to stop!

So I experience the phone message that the last few people have stated.  I spoke with a man name David Murdock @ ext 505, "the Managing Partner - this is a law firm".  He was the rudest person I have ever spoke with trying to collect a debt.  Before he got on the line with me he was yelling and screaming at some other poor individual that willingly took the abuse.  When he got on the line with me he started raising his voice, being demanding and sarcastic.  He even went as far as to say "Listen here Missy!"  I abruptly let him know that I was not on the line for his verbal abuse. I told him to provide me with the information he has on file and kept saying "Excuse Me, Excuse Me!"  I told him flat out your tactics are illegal and unwelcomed. He verbally provided me with the info I requested and I told  him that I will contact the original debtor to discuss the matter and make payment.  He went balistic when I said that!  

Folks - I know I owe the debt and now I can repay it but I will not be kicked & verbally abused while trying to rectify the situation.  Ignoring a debt you know you owe is only hurting you.

The called me twice once leaving a message that I need to call back by 10am or do not bother calling.  The 2nd was for my sister in law saying she owes something that she never took a loan out for.  I called them back from my cell phone to find out what this is about and they just are rude.  I now have called back twice and was asking for one of them and telling them taht they are being sued.  If they call me again I am going to send a bill for the time I am wasting with them and if they do not pay the bill with a certain time I will threatem them.

I received a call from them just a day or two after switching my cell phone service to AT&T
I wonder if there is a connection because AT&T does use the last 4 digits of a customer's ssn

Got a threatening call from the number stating that the company was CCS. When I called, the person that answered was "James Woods"....good one. Answered the call saying, "Corporate Office". He then claims that it was a law firm by the name of JDI....but couldn't tell me what type of law they practice. LOL. I called a few minutes late to get Robert Flores. He denied that they are even a law office. Then he threatened to kick my ass. Now whenever I am bored and want to blow off steam.

The IRS placed numerous liens on the Trent property located at 19466 Woodlands Lane, Huntington Beach, CA 92648.

Received many emails from employees detailing drug use in their operations.

They are professional liars and con artists, do not be swayed into sending them money, you will get nothing in return.

They are elite scam artists who have not yet been indicted for their criminal debt collection activity.
Things got so bad that they were evicted from an office in Huntington Beach.

Got 2 calls from them. asked for my last 4 of my Social and then put some pseudo lawyer on the phone. I don't believe he was a one because he said i'm waiting for your file to come to my desk and I could hear several people in the background. Real law offices and debt companies do not operate like this. If you have ever filled out anything online this is how they get your information unfortunately. BIG SCAM

I just received a call from them. I believe this a scam.

Got a call from a recording it said: "This is JDI and Associates, you can reach us at 951-279-4500. We have left you several messages. This call is regarding your property address. Call us today." I called and the phone # is not a working #. Not sure why they would call me and have me call and unworking # but I guess they have a lot of time on their hands to pull meaningless pranks. So I looked up the # that came in on the caller ID and found this site with other postings about the #.

This number called while I was in the shower and this is the message they left on my voice mail.  

"Man's voice:  This is JDI & Associates.  We have left several messages for you to call us back and we have yet to be in contact with you.  This is in reference to your property address.  The number here is 951-279-4500.  We need to hear from you today."

A call from this number was a recording, saying it was regarding the address of my property, that they had left several messages and that it was urgent I contact them today. I returned the call, which was answered "corporate offices" and explained to the man on the line that it was impossible that they had "left several messages" as I do not have an answering machine, but could he please tell me what this was regarding. He asked who I was; I asked who he had called at this number and he promptly hung up. I NEVER answer "who is this?" -- hey, who were you calling? Nonsense! I'm with the others; don't fall for this mess!

OK, folks, if you feel you must respond to these folks, remember this:  There is no such thing as debtor's prison anymore.  So, no matter what they say, no matter how loud they say it, and no matter what language they say it in:  laugh your butt off.  As soon as that threat comes out, you know it's as phoney as a $3 bill.  Do not let these folks scare you.

My in-laws got a call saying it was about a property. When they called back, they were given my name. My spouse called them  and they gave a bogus SS number for me. Found all of these complaints but am wondering why when I go to BBB.org no one has any complaints against them? Why aren't people complaining?
