"David Mourdock" says I bought $2,800 worth of Jewelry from "Sam's Jewelers" in 2002. I live in Indiana and the nearest Sam's Jewelers is California. So I knew it was a scam right away. It seems that they are mostly calling women. I'm going to find someplace to turn them into.

My brother in law received several messages for me on his answering machine from a JDI Associates the number was 951-271-4870.  I called the number several times and it answered always Corporate Offices.  Neither of our home numbers are published and I have never lived  at my brother-in-law's.  After I realized that it was Sunday and the "Corporate Office" must of been closed, I made a note to call during the week.  I left no message.  
Because of the time difference I hadn't gotten around to call them back.  Didn't have to,  they called my home at 7:00pm on June 12th, 2012.  A gentleman asked for me, I told him he had me, he then said that he was calling about a complaint that had been filed with their office against me, and they had sent me several notices in the mail.  He then asked me to verify my Social Security Number.  I told him I would not verify anything with him, that I didn't know who he was and what this was about. I told him I had never received anything from them at all in the mail.  I then asked him to mail it to me,  I then told him to hold on for a minute and then I went back to the phone and said, "this phone call is being recorded".  He then asked me to hold on and I did and a Mr. Murdock came on the line and said that it was his understanding I was recording this phone call.  I told him that was correct, he said " I demand that you stop recording this call or this office is going to prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law".  I told him to go ahead and while he was at it to send me a copy of what he is calling me about and he hung up one me.  
The number that came up on my caller ID was 951-271-4870 Corona California.  The number that was left on my brother in laws answering machine was 951-271-4880.

David Murdoch called me from 951-271-4877 or 4870.  He rattled off some numbers he claimed about owing Wells Fargo Bank some $5800.00 and I laughed at him..He threatened to lien my property with a "judgment" I laughed again because there is no such thing. He went away from the phone to verify what Wells Fargo would accept placed me on hold and I hung up.

Received a message at home from a man stating he was JDI Associates telling me they left several messages and needed to talk with me that day.  No one ever left any other message.  I erased the message.  From reading all this, obviously it is a scam.

My answer to any calls I tell them the person died few month ago and that stops all calls.

JDI has changed phone numbers  to  951-847-3973 and 951-847-3979.  Received call this past weekend.  These guys are slick, but since I don't owe anyone anything, I knew this was fishy.  Be aware that they are indeed crooks and scam artists!!!!

Please be aware that these people are the scum of the earth, preying on the elderly.   They have no limit to what they will say.  Very forceful and rude yet they claim to be professionals.  Contact the Federal Trade Commission if you get a call from these maggots.

Back in May 2012 I got a call from David Murdoch of JDI & Associates threatening to sue me over an 8 year old credit card debt around $400.00. I am pretty naive to this stuff. I agreed to pay the debt. Well when i got on this website and found out it was all B.S., i had to close my bank account so he couldn't get at my money. Then, about two months ago, i received a message from Mr. Hernandez of CCS & Associates, saying that it was regarding a property that I owned (the property he mentioned was actually a duplex my parents owned that i haven't lived in for 3 years that has become forecloesed) Well when i heard this i called back immediately. I yelled and screamed at the guy saying how dare he try to scare me like that and that he and David Murdoch have no balls and they are charlatons. I ended the call by telling him to feel free to sue me over a fake $400.00 debt. I have not heard anything since.

They have managed to somehow start calling me from a Cleveland area code ( I live in Cleveland). I USED to get calls from all the same #'s that are being listed in this thread. Mr. David Murdoch was pissed when he found out I closed my bank account before he could take any money (YES I'M STUPID AND ALMOST FELL FOR IT, BUT THANKS TO THIS SITE I FIGURED IT ALL OUT).

A very hateful man has called several times asking for my husband. When I explain he is not here and if I can help him. He starts off telling me he knows my husband was in the military and is now a disabled veteran. He tells me that my husband has opened several loans (not true) and they are all past due. When I tell him that he has to have the wrong person he tells me he is calling the police and having us both arrested.

If you guys who have spoken to  "David" or "Todd" want a good laugh, go on youtube and search for "The Prosecutor prank calls". He is a laughing stalk of youtube and has recently changed his name again due to so many harassing prank calls incoming for him

They called my mom and dad several times. Mmy mom picked up and talked to a lady from jdi. She said if I dident call back their will be a bench warrent for my arrest. Scared I called them talked to a guy who said my mom is a liar. I hung up on him and he left a message which I will not erase that said me and my mom are nothing but liears and that I'm being sued for a old debt from 2007. What can I do about this harrasment. Please help

Complaints appear to have stopped about the time of the FTC action against Thai Han.

Look up on youtube"Todd Shaw" or "David Murdoch"or JDI ASSOCIATES. .these cymbals have been pranked to death.They use the same"I will prosecute you, blah.."threats.Thats why Todd Shaw has been nicknamed the Prosecutor. They folded up JDI ASSOCIATES, now they have a  new scam company as of 8-14.They are pieces of human feces and deserve everything they are getting.

It will be my laugh when I have your balls hanging in the...hanging in the closet.
