The IRS placed numerous liens on the Trent property located at 19466 Woodlands Lane, Huntington Beach, CA 92648.

Received many emails from employees detailing drug use in their operations.

They are professional liars and con artists, do not be swayed into sending them money, you will get nothing in return.

They are elite scam artists who have not yet been indicted for their criminal debt collection activity.
Things got so bad that they were evicted from an office in Huntington Beach.

8/3/11  My mother ( she's in her older years)  received two messages on her answering machine yesterday. One was a man saying he was from JDI and Associates.  He was calling about her "property address".  He stated that is was urgent that the call was returned.  Phone 951-279-4500.   Second call was from a woman "Ms. Berkson".  She knew my mothers name and said she was calling about my mom's property on XXX Street.  (which was actually her address).  She left the same number 951-279-4500.  When I returned the call for my mom, the line was answered "Corporate Offices"  and when I asked who this was the man said JDI and Associates.  I asked what this call was about and he said my mother was a defendant in a pending civil law suit.  I was calling from my cell phone which is different than my mothers.  I received a call on my cell from a "Mr. David Murdock".  He asked me if I was POA, of course I said yes, and he didn't ask any questions about me. He stated that the client suing was HSBC Master Card and the account was past due for $5,855.97.  My mother has NEVER had a Master Card.  There I knew he was a SICKO.  He wanted me to confirm my mother's SS #.  He had a couple numbers correct but not the whole #.  He started getting irate with me.  I told him if he called my number again I would sue him.   He said he was mortified.   Started yelling at me.  I then hung up.  The number he was calling me from is 951-737-4800.  Another number he called me from is 951-736-5395.  I asked for their address and was told1664 Leaf Wood Drive, Riverside, CA  90806. (he wasn't even sure if that was the correct zip code.)   "Seniors Beware"  This is a scam scam scam.  I am reporting to the BBB.  Please be careful what info you give out on the phone to anyone.  Anyone you do real business with does not treat you like that on the phone or elsewhere.... Think before you speak.  Thank you.  PS  I am very angry about this.

unreliable call.

I received a message from my brother in Chicago stating that he received a call for me from JDI & Associates and that it was in regards to a civil suite for me and that he was named in the suite as well.  He called them back and spoke to a Keasha and then was transfered to a Mr. David Murdcok.  
I then called the # 951-279-4500 and was transfered to a Mr. David Martin.....a lawyer who advised that if I didn't complete a settlement for a past due credit card "Metris/HSBC" they were going to server me with court papers.  I told them I would call them back but if they didn't here from me to go ahead and serve me....I would take my chances in front of the JUDGE.  This whole thing sounded shadey to me so I decided that I would look them up online and low and behold I ran across this.  I am glad I didn't fall for the scam.  I will be reporting this to the BBB and see what I can do about harrassing calls.

This number contacted me said I had a debt to repay and then starting yelling and making threats. They only identified themselves as "The Corporation".

i almost got scammed today.  but found this website that saved me from making a huge mistake.  

Everything you read posted i was told also.  stuff about property, which i do not own.  being a co-defendant in a civil suit.  and this whole time they are calling my parents house.  i have not lived there in 12 years.  

i fell for it at first because i do have a debit with the company that they said they were representing.  but i couldnt believe it was as much as they were saying.  they said my bill was $5,863.06 but they would settle for $3,377.96.  i was confussed and when expressing so ernie yelled at me and told me that he would just send an officer to my work and have me served in front of all my co-workers to embarass me.  he was so rude the whole conversation i ened up crying.  after he hung up on me i did some research.  looked up my credit report which showed the balance owed MUCH less and no where could i find jdi and associates.  and then i found this website.  i also called the bbb and then another federal thing i cant remember for sure what it was.  they both told me it was a SCAM!!!!!!!

My wife got this call on Tuesday 8/16/11 at 3:04pm from this JDI & Associates. I handle most matters that require payments or legal matters for our household. So this information got passed to me while I am at work and I decided to give them a call and be responsible during my lunch break.  So this Young man answers this call and starts using  “umm” darn near every sentence. So I tell him look if you want to serve me fine do it I am at work right now and could call back later on Friday to discuss this matter. So he says that he would do a cease-and-desist order and he would await my call.
They called again Wednesday 8/17/11 at 4:53pm. I didn’t get to this call but apparently they don’t share information in the office.

Friday 8/19/11 @ 11:28am, 11:33am, and again at 11:35am. At 11:28 I told them that I had made an arrangement to talk to a young man by the name of Brandon Frasier and that I was not ready to talk to they yet and would return this call back later today. I was then asked to hold so trying to be polite I did. Then some guy came on the line and started that high pressure tactic talk that I just get agitated with I again reiterated that I would be calling to talk to another person later in the day. He started to raise his voice with me and I said “woah, woah, woah” so he repeats me condescendingly… I hung up on him. @11:33 he calls me back to say “I think we got disconnected”. So I told him that I hung up on him and he has the audacity to say that was rude and that having been in the military I should act more respectful …so I gave him the what for …being careful not to make any threats and stated that I would get a lawyer to handle any and all legal matters from this company. The whole time this guy is trying to talk over me and still trying his high pressure talk on me, so I hang up…then they call back at 11:35 I don’t answer it because I don’t feel like talking to someone who will be disrespectful to me or try to force me into making any decisions without allowing me a second to think about what is going on or what I am saying.

This was my first experience with them this week.

I got this same EXACT recorded message on my answering machine today. Caller ID 951-279-4500

I called them back using the caller block feature *67 and used the phone # listed for this company from other posts 951-737-4800.  They answered "corporate offices" I asked what is the name of your company? The man responded JDI & Associates. I asked where are you located, he said "we have two offices Corona and Santa Ana, then he asked if he could put me on hold, I said yes, waited a few moments then I hung up.

When I when to BBB there is no listing under the phone# 951-279-4500
I did find a listing for JDI & Associates LLC in Dallas TX with a TX phone#
and I did find a listing for the # I called 951-737-4800 in Santa Ana, Ca for CCS Recoveries LLC

I don't owe anyone any money and have no reason for a collections company to be calling me.  I think I will be contacting the BBB to open up a file for JDI & Associates for their two CA locations that are not currently listed.

I got the call this morning from (951) 279-4500. Same dude sounding like a real jerk too "JDI". Sounds like they are really trying to prey on a few seniors that might not know what they committing too and are unsure of about there debts. Call the BBB but I think somebody should call 60 minutes or at least the local TV station in corona CA.

I guarantee that "Kenny Smith" and "wtf" saying this is not a scam is the people from JDI trying to make it look legite. [***], Just remember people at JDI, when it is all over you will have to face your maker. God is watching you.

According to collections law they can't serve you at work so I don't believe the above posts re being served at work. In addition they'd have to know where one works to pull that off. It is a bogus credit scam and ID theft operation.

Being on the do not call list doesn't work because only reputable companies comply with the list.

I got a call on Monday in a very mean voice the message said we have left several messages and the call is concerning my property and I needed to call immediatly.  I looked them up on the internet and only found Morgage companies so I figured they were trying to get me to refinance or something and didn't call back.  My mom called me tonight and said the JDI Associates called here for Travis (my son) and said he was involved in a lawsuit and needed to call immediately.  We didn't call back.  How can we be proactive and get this place shut down???

Called my home this evening asking for my brother who does not even live in the same state as me. I told them the call was being recorded for legal action against them and they promptly hung up. I advise everyone to do this.

the message was recording that said it was in regards to the property address. Don't own propety... hmm.. so I called  - got a gent that tried to verify info.. said they represent clients that are pending civil litigation and I needed to speak to a partner at the firm... Transferred me to another gent - stated he had civil lawsuit papers and was filing them against me for an AMEX bill I never paid unless I made arrangements with him today he was going to file the papers.. Told him I never had an AMEX card and he hung up...   ***** THIS IS A SCAM  DO NO PAY THESE PEOPLE  OR GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION ***************

I see all these complaints, but when I went to BBB and the no call list to report this company there was only one other complaint. All of you guys need to complain as well. These people should be shut down. But it will only happen if we all complain.

Received a call from so called JDI company with no contact's name to return the call,when I asked what kind of company they were ,she said, it depends then I realized they are a bunch of idiots and  Crookes.
