- Yvara| 2 repliesI keep getting phone calls on my cell phone for a Jeremy Biseline unknown person. When I ask that they remove my number because they keep calling my cell and I am not the person they are trying to reach the man says this is the first time he has called. They say they will update the information but after a few weeks I get the same nuisance calls. How can I stop this unwanted intrusion or file a complaint to stop these calls.

If they're at all legit and it really isn't you, it can't hurt to get ahold of somebody who will actually care about them wasting their time calling you. . . - xdtrYou know When my mother was contacted at home by weinerman and associates my mother was very upset and of course so was I. After getting over the anger and embarrassment due to my lack of better judgement and mismanagement I called the Sydney Cohen up.....sydney was apologetic but of course like most bill collectors very firm. His demands were very aggressive but after careful consideration, so is the acct holder agreement.Regardless of how you feel when any collector calls you and before you loosely throw out the term "harrassment"...consider this.Do your family and friends a favor and find a way to pay it any way you can so they dont have deal with these calls.Quit the self loathing and quit playing the stupid shell games us dtrs always play and do whats right. This was something we all know we did.I you really dont have the money..break down your fincls for them cuz they hear it all the time.If they still keep after you then they are a moron that is wasting their own time.If its truly fraud...produce a police report or an affadavit of fraud..surely you know about this already? I used to do collections in college so I know what these people go through as well as most of us dtrs go through. Thanks weinerman and [***] for working with me to resolve my matter. With responsibility comes a great sense of purpose and virtue.

- Penny Lane replies to deleted postMichael Oppenheimer is part of the scam group which was profiled on 48 hours and is now under investigation by feds so we will see who pays their debt
- susan james replies to SickOfSlimeballs| 2 repliesI called ole mikey oppenheimer and a lady asked me what I wanted I told her I wanted to collect a debt from him - she told me that was illegal - I told her that they had just called for someone that does not live at this number and said the exact same thing so what is good for him was good for me - she seemed somewhat confused and I left her that way. They are very aware of the law and were profiled them on 48 hours this last weekend the show provided an email where companies like theirs can be listed and they will investigate so I would say lets send in info on "WEINERMAN ASS" as it said on my phone.
- Julie| 3 repliesThis business is a debt collector. I spoke with Mike Oppenheimer and he helped me make AFFORDABLE arrangements to pay off my debt, yes it is my debt and I am fully aware of the debt. I also double checked all account numbers given to me by them and again, it is my debt.
Although we did have a good laugh about the caller ID... WeinerMan and A$$... lol- Caller: Debt Collector

- hello replies to deleted postSo why dont you all put your pics on your site so we can see who we are speaking with when you all call to harrass us and scam us out of money!!!!!!!!!!
- anonymous dtr| 1 replyI had the pleasure of talking to a sydney cohen, who was very courteous, knowledgable and truly understanding. He told me the difference of setteling and paying in full,i told him i could do it the next day and like most collectors that want it now he allowed me to call back the next day and complete the transaction which we did and he saved me lots of money. Thanks so much Mr. Cohen, your company is luck you are there, too bad that there arent mr like you, tell your boss he had a fantastic employee in his office.
- american law and morality| 1 replyIs it at all conscionable that when a debt collector goes out of their way to genuinely work out an amicable arrangement to repay the debt, via settlement or monthly mayment that a debtor cant even bother to make a check good or guarantee that funds will be on a debit or credit card? What kind of lawlessness is this, have debtors reached a new low and shouldnt their behavior regarding funny money be dealt with? If you are going to take care of a bill thats behind, dont play the money isnt in my account when the agency goes to deposit it.This is a slap in the face and an extra burden on the debt collector. Most folks out there simply dont realise how debt collectors are compensated, and probably dont care but when checks bounce and credit cards decline then they cant make their goal and it financially affects their bottom line.If you make a bill and dont pay it then do what is right and give the agency good funds, not rubber funds and stop committing theft and deal with doing the just and moral thing. There are some really unintelligent folks in this country that dont have the foggiest idea of what goes on from day to day.Its one thing to be indebt its another to present non sufficient funds, that is a very very wrong and unethical thing to do besides being illegal.Lets clean up the system and stop being debtors that do bad stuff and pay our bills and make america the great country it should be.
- Anonym| 5 repliesNext to politicians, guess who are the biggest fabricators of the truth, yup you guesses it,lying, cheating debtors.Dont pay run and hide, dont answer the phone, dont return calls and do everything in the book except what they should be doing which is yup,you guessed it PAYING!!!!!.Pay up and stop using others money as if it were some free ride and an entitlement and a license to rip off the bank.Is it any wonder that dishonest debtors have this economy in the sad state thats its in?Unreal,Pay the damn debt and stop stealing, from everyone
- Tom replies to B.| 1 replyI could use some help with dealing with this company. I've settled a 200.00 dollar misunderstanding in 2007. I've just started getting collection calls again from them. I'm thinking about going after them for deformation of character. Any suggestions on what I should do please?
- Scam ArtistsIf you get a call from these low life scum bags make sure you check into the debt you owe before forking over any money to them....Also check to be sure they are licensed by the state to conduct business.....They tried collecting a debt from me and they're not even licensed....Hey Sidney why don't you try doing business legally and stop being a low life scum bag!! Maybe we would pay the debt owed if you actually knew what you were talking about...ever think out that. Hears an idea for you get licensed and then call me!! Loser!

- Scam Artists| 3 repliesThis is a sketchy company not to be handled with lightly. They are harassing and threatening liar who has no other means of getting people to pay their alleged debt than to lie to you and work you in circles. Sidney will tell you that if you don't agree to pay right away that he'll take you to court or mark your account down as refused without giving you the chance to dispute it. You have the legal right to dispute the debt and to verify the amount before paying....He will tell you that you can't and that he doesn't have to do anything or give you anything...He will even go as far as to tell you he didn't even need to call you to inform you of the amount owed...Get everything in writing first and my suggestion is to notify them in writing that they are not to call you anymore and that all communication needs to be done by mail, because talking him is like talking to a donkey. He has lied to me several times and each time I talk to him the dates and amounts change. The last time I checked sold dates and original amounts sold don't change....I could honestly go on forever about these low lifes, but I won't. From my experience the only answer that will satisfy him is you giving him a checking account or credit card number over the phone. If you get a call from them and your not 100% sure of the amount owed....Verify It!! I have no problem with paying a debt that was overlooked and owed, but I'm not about to fork over money to someone who I feel is lying and can't even get the facts straight.....

- 4q2 replies to Anonym| 2 repliesPay the ORIGINAL creditor, not some bottom-feeding third party scammers.
- A.K. replies to 4q2| 1 replyThe origiginal creditor, decided enough was enough when you would'nt pay in the first place and decided to sell the account because you would'nt pay them and got some of their money back because you, debtor, took their money and never paid it back,si the bottom feeder now owns the account and it is your turn to man up and pay the debt to the collection agency that owns the acct. How [***] stupid are you?
- N. replies to A.K.Or you could just contact them to make sure you actually owe money. The problem with this company is that when you ask for proof from them, they refuse to give it to you.
- [***] replies to Scam Artists| 2 repliesThe amount changes because you probably are still being charged interest,DUH!What are you [***] or what?Quit your whining, you know what bills you made and you dont need proof,as that is merely just a stall to not pay.I am an athlete for a lacrosse team and i want the economy to get better and it seems that because you owe money that you dont want to pay and you obviously dont care about you credit being bad.I am sure that this company is very ligitimate as in this day and age that debts are sold and purchased just as mortgages are.Its high time that debtors like yourself grow the [***] up and take some damn responsibility and pay up.Debt collectors have jobs that they need to do and im quite sure have quotas to fill and when they get cussed out, verbally abused, barely get any return calls, probably have to skiptrace just to locate your sorry [***] and then get told that they need to send proof amoung all the other lies and excuses, its a wonder they can trust their friends and families.Perhaps if you sat for one day at their desk and saw how stressful it is them maybe you would understand what these folks go thru on a daily basis.Having quotas to meet and being lied to all day.I have a girlfriend that does this and i know what its like. The bottom line here is just stop the excuses, pony up and just pay, doesnt matter who owns the debt, just pay as you borrowed the money with intentions of repaying so just do it and stop making the collectors the bad folks, its not an easy job
- kudos to syddy cone| 3 repliesI just got off the phone with syd cone and he was one of the nicest, and most understanding gentleman i have spoken to.H e worked aout an arrangement that fit my budget and he took the time to work with me even while myself and my spouse are unemployed and on unemployment.I feel sorry for these folks, having to meet tight quotas with a very challenging economy and probably if they dint hit their goal they get fired or have their monthly income dropped or lessened. And their livlihood depends on whether we pay so indeed it can be rough and they probably get beaten up by some tyrant that doesnt even make calls. Please know that syd is a valuable commodity to your company and if there were more syds in this world there wouldnt be negative people blogging on here, thanks again syd,you were very helpful and thanks so much
