- God Help You All at Weinerdogs & Assoc. replies to kudos to syddy coneI extend the best of luck to all who are dealing with these "creatures" who work for Weinerman & Associates. If you know you owe a debt, I can't stress enough..you do need to pay it..but if for any reason you are questioning it or it just can't be justified, DO YOUR RESEARCH! I had the wonderful and most thrilling experiences dealing with Mr "Sidney Cohen"-not even his real name..none of the employees there use their real names..Gee, I wonder why?? He is a real treat, let me tell ya! He is the most ignorant, verbally abusive, threatening, compulsive liar, and I think must have some issues with the female gender..He will say anything to make a buck! People who are questionning their debt(s), plese know that YOU have rights! Read through the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Also, contact your Chamber of Commerce in your state, tell them what's going on, and ask them if this company is even licensed to do business in your state. There are so many violations that Weinerman & Associates and,the lovely,Mr. Cohen has done, it's pathetic! You have every right to dispute a debt; and it is their jobs to provide you an exclamation and proof of documentation of the original debt. They are just too lazy to come up with anything, or plain and simple, don't have any proof of the debt. Do not just fork over your money to them, if you do not owe it. The way this agency practices, is absurd! Mr. Cohen would call several times, never leave a number where he could be reached, never sent any form of a letter stating his agency had even taken over a "debt", verbally abused and taunted my own family, made verbal threats to damage my credit report, permanently, lied so many times about the actual amount owed (this doesn't include interest), couldn't come up with the "current creditor" on the account, etc..I could go on and on..I can only pray for these "maggots" of the world..I don't know how they look themselves in the mirror every morning, knowing they lie, cheat and steal from honest, hard working people, for a living. It is completely mind boggling..someday they will have to reap what they sow. As for the, fabulous, so good with words, Mr. Cohen, GET A LIFE! I think it's time to seek new job opportunities and try to GIVE BACK to the communities, instead of just TAKING, TAKING, TAKING...I think you are this washed-up, has been, burnt-out debt collector, who has been doing this way too long..Time for a change, Buddy!! :)
- Scam Artists| 1 replyHey "[***]" if you actually read what I wrote before you decided to have diahrea of the mouth.....I understand that the account in adding on interest, but the amount sold by the original creditor will never change dumbass! I'm not trying to get out of paying what is owed... I'm just trying to figure out where the amount Weinerman says I owe came from since the orginal creditor is telling me different.....I'm sure that you along with "ECONOMY SCREWED AGAINA" and "Grow Up" all work for Weinerman and are exactly what I'm talking about. I would never want a job as a bill collector....and you know what they chose this job so I have no sympathy for them...don't like dealing with people like me then go find another job....Maybe if you all were less sleazy and more honest it wouldn't take me longer for people to pay you all. Be honest and I'll give the money owed....Continue doing business illegally then kiss my a**. You idiots need to read all that I wrote and not just pick and choose what to read....Here's a suggestion go read the FDCPA laws and get a clue [***].

- To "Tired of Entitlement Mentality" replies to Scam ArtistsTo whomever is "Tired of the Entitlement Mentality"..sounds like Sid, but I got news for you..guess what? We are entitled! It says so in the FDCPA! We ARE ENTITLED to proof of documentation of a debt owed. We ARE ENTITLED to disputing a debt, that we don't know about. Guess what? YOU ARE ENTITLED AND REQUIRED TO PROVE THE DEBT! Frankly, I am tired of your "mentality". Hello, this is common sense. Don't you know how to do your job?? Obviously, not by the books...I'll let you get back to "meeting your quota"..Does that include, doing and saying anything, even lying, to make your $$$? It is pretty sick that we have to deal with and tolerate "slugs" like you people..Have a Thrilling Day!! :)
- This has to be an employee of Weinerman replies to kudos to syddy coneThis is for "kudos to syddy cone"..yeah, don't think you were talking to good ole Sid at 4:30 am (3:30 am Minnesota time)today..making payment arrangements..unless you live in another country, don't think debt collectors work 24-7..and if you actually dealt with Sid, you would not be giving him "kudos"..you would probably be giving him the "finga"..nice try..
- BOB FARMER| 4 repliesWe are all americans and should have more unity then to squabble over our past due bills. At the end of a day does it really and truly matter whether the original creditor sold the debt or a new entity owns it?It's all the same, the bill is due and we all know what contractual liability we carry,My gosh,it seems that there is so much justification for not paying instead of doing what is just and paying back said debt.Unfortunately we all have our ups and downs and i had several past due accounts that i had to pay and now slowly but surely my credit beacon is 600.I was a victim of economic downsizing, lost my home and my car and even had to move in with my inlaws but still paid my bills to whomever had them,a clear head makes for a soft pillow. This economy needs strength through Mr Obama's direction and all the negativity and immorality on here is just wrong.I had spoken to a ms Shwob and she was vey helpful in getting me on a repay plan, thanks winermen and associates

- To Mr. Farmer replies to BOB FARMER| 2 repliesWe understand where you are coming from..but it is very frustrating, when you have never been contacted about any debt, whatsoever, until recently from weinerman & assoc., claiming you owe a debt, on a closed account, that there wasn't a debt. Yes..if you know you owe a debt, then pay it..but individuals like myself, are going to excersise our rights, and want proof of this claimed debt...in this day and age, there are millions of scam artists, that will do anything to make a buck and screw people over. That is great that some people have had good experiences with Weinerman & Associates..but there are many, including myself, that have have been traumatized by the lack of decency, respect, and just plain ole "tact" that Weinerman has shown. We have every right to express ourselves and comments about our experiences with this company. I can only warn other people about the "bullies" at Weinerman & Associates.
- BOB fARMER replies to To Mr. Farmer| 1 replyI was very distraught financially and these folks just have a plain not easy life.where i live there was a story about a collector that drove off a major highway while being at .16 and alcohol limit and died, and a note was found saying he was devaststed and about to lose all he had.people in life have stress in their work and lets be understanding and make these peoples lives a little easirt,we are all americans and want cheaper consumer prices and the only way to lend a hand to this economy is to pay our bills.many folks out here cant feed them selves and are losing their homes in record numbers due to the indebted not paying their bills, lets help our fellow americans so we can all live with dignity

- Economic Tough Times| 3 repliesWE ALL RELY ON THE ECONOMY TO BE GOOD SO WE CAN CONTRIBUTE SO THE economy CAN GROW AND PROSPER.That being said,it is all americans duty to repay their debts and just own up to it and get it done,no need to complain about people that are also just doing a job.I do swimming pools so i am unemployed half the year and have to make the summer money last into the winter.Maybe one day be grateful for getting a call to help you mend the bad credit and pay what you owe,it feels great to be debt free and get whatyou want in life because you have great credit.Bill collectors can be decent folks and are regular folks just like all folks on here.i am not a-rod or any high paid person at all i just pay me bills and if i didnt id understand that a collection firm would be calling.just because its not fun nor pleaseant doesnt make this group of people bad.Just like dentists.so lets stop berating others and help obama make the changes so we can all be well and enjoy life.
- Cherylynn replies to american law and moralityDumb folks in this country ? Are you kidding me? How many errors did you make in your post, spelling, etc. Collections agencies are filled with "unconscionable" people trying to make themselves a paycheck, no matter how ruthless or dishonest they are being to the so called "debtor".
If people make a settlement with you, and then pay with insufficient funds, etc., then may I suggest you contact and hire a collection agency to hunt these dumb folk down. Maybe you will find an agency more professional and courteous than the one you obviously work for and get some results ! ! - Cherylynn replies to AnonymYou are the one playing with lying and deceit. Shame on you !!!! How do you sleep at night. Try to be professional with people.
- Cherylynn replies to [***]Wow, I can tell from your post how intelligent and professional you are, NOT. That's why no one calls you back. So you play LaCrosse, you are an athlete. Wow, good for you. What the heck does that have to do with anything on this board, [***], duh. You want the economy to get better, really? If it does, then you will most likely have less accounts to collect on since more people will be able to not default on their loans. And may I ask, if you and your girlfriend are so miserable at your so called "jobs" (I would not personally call it a job, rather a position of authority you think you have, but don't, duh) then why not quit and find another job. Really, anyone can go find another job, move if you have to. Go flip burgers if you have to, it probably pays about the same since no one seems to be paying you guys, right? Duh.
- Cherylynn replies to kudos to syddy coneOh, please. If anyone believes this post, please have your brain examined. If you and your spouse were both unemployed, I seriously doubt either of you would have any money at all to send to these idiots. You obviously work for them, making you an idiot as well. IDIOT !!!! And if you were legit, anything you brought home from unemployment would not be enough for you and your significant other to satisfy them ie: monthly payments, settlement, etc. [***] for brains. We are not all dumb, like you. The nicest, most understanding "gentlemen". Yeah, right. Tell us what you owe, and what the settlement was, please ! I beg you. Nothing would be good enough for this company. All you do is cry for the poor employees of this company. Hey, here is an idea, maybe you and your spouse can ask them for a job !!!! Now, you can work off your debt to them.
- Cherylynn replies to BOB FARMERIt's not necessarily that people don't "want" to pay back their owed debts, it is in the way it is handled "sleezily" by the collection agencies. Read the posts. People are not saying they won't pay their debts, Mr. Farmer (yeah, right). It is they are not provided proof of the debt, it is the way they are treated and spoken to, etc... Beware people: Every collection agency has the obligation and duty to provide you with proof of the debt, and no one can call and threaten you, and if they do, get the police involved. Document every phone call, every persons "fake" name, every time you speak with them and request things by mail (which you will probably never see from them anyhow). And if they threaten to take you to jail, give me a break. You can only be arrested (unless obviously caught in a lawless act) by a warrant. Collection agencies DO NOT get warrants for arrest. Period. They can take you to court, if legitimate, but they can not have you arrested.
- Cherylynn replies to Economic Tough Times| 2 repliesHow dare you bring dentists and President Obama into your farce. Go dig a pool !!! Yes, people, pay your debts to these low lives, that is what is truly going to bring America back from the brink of economic disaster under the Bush administration, kidding!!! I'd rather take the money owed and spend it at a local mom and pop shop, or donate it, hide it under my mattress, whatever it may be, then to give it to a collection agency. You just make the owner of the collection company richer and make him feel that his ruthless tactics are working. Does no one realize, that let's say you owe $500.00 to ABC Company, you don't pay the debt, so Weiner & Associates buy that debt for probably like $125.00, and they try to collect the entire $500.00 from you?? That's how they make their money. If you look on a credit report the debt is reported by Weenies & Associates. And you must do everything in your power thru the original company, not the weenies, to get it off your credit, assuming it is a legitimate debt.
- Cherylynn replies to BOB fARMEROh, Mr. Farmer, if you aren't a collector, then I will shoot myself in the head right now. Your tales of woe for the collector who drove himself off the highway during a drunken binge has nothing to due with anyone who owes a bill. Are you actually trying to say that due to his stress by debtors, he as an agent for a collection company, was so stressed he got so drunk and basically killed himself because of same? Sounds like someone was just partying a bit too much, and that is it. Thank God no one innocent got killed in the process. And a note was found? How do you know that? Completely made up story. Please send a link to the newspaper article.... So due to debtors in this country, consumer prices have gone up, the only way to make the economy better is for debtors to pay the collection agencies, people will once regain their homes if debtors were to pay their bills to the collection agencies, and if they don't, basically they are not Americans and should not live with dignity. If anyone believes that Mr. Farmer is a poor soul who couldn't pay his bills, but is trying to now, so that America won't fail, give me a break. I'm ready to PUKE. Mr. Farmer is another person on here pretending to be a previous debtor, and now his life is so much better because he is paying Weenie & Associates. And if the collectors don't have such an easy life being collectors, and they are driving themselves off the road, perhaps they should find another job, and leave the debt collecting up to the more ruthless, no heart, bottom feeding scum bags.
- Cherylynn replies to SYDNEY COHENHow professional, Mr. Cohen. Please learn how to spell. Thanks.
- Cherylynn replies to Joe DebtorLiar, liar, pants on fire !!!
- Cherylynn replies to TiredOfTheEntitlementMentalityAnother professional collector. How low can you go?
- Cherylynn replies to Julie| 2 repliesAnyone can get account numbers off a credit report. Credit reports are extremely easy for companies to get a hold of. They can simply, with your SSN, which unfortunately people do actually have easy access to, pretend as if they are applying for credit through them, and they have your account numbers, credit history, addresses, work info, etc. available to them.
Once again, I have no doubt, after reading all the other posts about this so called company, I believe you are with the company (but I bet you are a female). Man, am I good.
