- XXXOOOGot call from this number. I blocked the call. Next thing I know another number 971-220-1382 I blocked this one too. I want to see how many numbers they come up with and I'll block them all. I don't have time for this nonsense.
- CLM replies to Steph| 1 replyI filed a complaint for this number plus 16 other numbers to the FTC for this Card Services. I have 12 of these numbers blocked on my phone; this is my limit with my phone company. This Company has many numbers they call from including cell phone numbers. All we can do is keep filing these complaints with FTC and maybe they will catch up with this Company. I have been dealing with these people calling me since 2009. I have asked them to take me off their list and all they do is hang up on me. Time to shut this business down. I'm not sure what else to do. I called my Local Phone Co., talked to the Police and filed for the 3rd time on the "Do Not Call List". The Police advised me to file a complaint with the FTC I have done that. I will be filing a complaint every time they call. So my advice to everyone else is to keep filing a complaint to FTC web site. https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2
And here is the FTC phone number to file complaints: Phone: Call our toll-free helpline:1-877-FTC-HELP ( 1-877-382-4357 )
TTY: 1-866-653-4261
Hope this information helps some of the readers.
Lets flood FTC with all these complaints. Maybe they will do something about it. - Steve B.I've received this call (never answered it) several times over the past month. I'm just reporting this to try and help find the source...
- Caller: Don't know - never answered
- JewellyaThe volume of robo calls (all from Oregon) has spiked since i signed the petition to shut down SOPA. methinks it's a stunt to keep people from signing petitions.
- Call type: Political call
- John KrylI've been receiving calls on a daily basis from a telemarketer using this number and a 503 number. This is very annoying.

- doctor.headI sleep in the morning and various other times. This 971-220-1118 number calls my land line and does not respond to answering nor leaves a message. I also get unwanted calls on my cell phone telling me it's my last chance to get a low credit card interest rate. That is theft of my paid for air time. After several complaints to the “Do Not Call” list I am still getting calls. I block them and they use a different number. I think Daleinaz is right about the side stepping by VoIP. What can be done about it?
- Legal Assistant| 1 replyOk, a little education about the DO NOT CALL registry. They don't know someone is calling you UNLESS YOU FILE A COMPLAINT. They have no way to knowing that these spammers are calling you unless you tell them. If the FTC gets enough complaints it is their job to then start investigating these complaints. I'm getting calls from this number as well and each and every time I go to the Federal Do Not Call Registry and file a complaint. No one reads these forums to know someone is calling you. Here is the info on the federal DNC website "The National Do Not Call Registry gives you a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls at home. Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 31 days. If they do, you can file a complaint at this Website." Notice it says "most telemarketers" which means those telemarketers who bypass the DNC registry should be reported, just like you report SPAM emails. Let's start taking action people!! I'm just as tired of these calls as you are. https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2
- Caller: SPAM CALLS

- just me replies to Legal AssistantYes, you have to report these calls every single time. If every single person who posts here would file a complaint, they can probably be stopped. I've seen several Attorney General cases lately where they have sued telemarketers and shut them down cause enough people filed complaints.
- TT| 1 replyI got one today myself. LIke many of you...if I don't know the number I won't answer. On my cell phone I save the phone numbers as DO NOT ANSWER on my display and have my phone set to no ring as the ring tone on all my Do Not Answer numbers. This way I never hear it when they call. It's nice too on the cell that I can set multiple phone numbers under one do not answer. The only disadvantage...even if set to no ring...if phone is on vibrate it does still vibrate :(
- Sue replies to DougGarbage number! Thanks for posting your info, too!
- craI add the nuisance callers to my contact list. I started out with contact z. I can add 4 different numbers to z. home, work, cell, and fax. I set the ring for this contact to no-ring. Once I used up all my slots for z I created a contact zz and repeated the same procedure. I am now working on zzzzz
You will get the little tone of a missed call but at least you are not bothered by the rings and never answer. You only have to clear out your missed called from time to time.
Not the perfect solution but better than nothing.
I guess if I ever get a friend called Z I will add him in as A.- Caller: unknown

- TexasmadGot a call
- cra replies to TTI did not see your post before I replied. I must not have gotten a call when my cell was on vibrate. Not trying to steal you idea. I guess it is not all that uncommon.
- jwJust got a call from this number along with many others from that area code. I have started a spam list and automatically put these numbers in it and then turn call blocker on. This prevents me from accidentally answering these types of phone calls. Personally I think there should be someway of reverse charging these people when they do call your cell number. If it is not legit then they should pay not us.
- ~~SPIDER~~Just one more number of over 20 numbers I have now from these "bottom feeders". It's nothing but a SCAM trying to get you to give them your credit card number. First it was Rachel from credit card services and now they get around the do-not-call list by saying it's a political servey, then saying you win a free trip to the bahamas. Nothing in this world is free. It's a "SCAM". Nothing more. I report each and every call now to the state- no- call list and the federal -do -not -call list. I have even reported them to the local police. Still these bottom feeders keep trying. And as of today I called at&t and complained to them also. And told them every time I get a call from these A$$-holes I'm going to call and make a complaint. I have had to change my phone number thinking the calls would stop...Guess what, they haven't now I get at least one call a day now.
- Caller: P.O.America
- 549385I received a call from this number. It is listed as coming from Gresham OR. Since I have caller ID I do not answer unknown numbers. If they want me bad enough or if it is a life and death situation they will leave a message.
I have placed this number in my DO NOT ANSWER file.
