Offering free (not including port tax) cruise for 2 to the Bahamas in return for completing a 30-second survey conducted on behalf of a political group. Gave me the option of pressing 9 to decline the survey and have my # removed from their list. Against all better judgment, I pressed 9 and got a message saying my # had been removed. This is a cell phone; my next stop is to make sure my status on the DNC registry is still up to date.

I ALSO GOT A CALL - NO ANSWER, JUST SOME NOISE - SCAMMING CRIMINALS - PROBABLY FROM CAMEROON OR NIGERIA!!

I got a call from this number today. As I didn't recognize the number, I didn't answer it. I have my phone on the do not call list too. Will these folks never leave us alone?

ID is Pacifictel: Had several calls in past 2 months. They Do not leave message. One time I answered, they offered a cruise in the Bahamas. I just hung up. Want them to stop. We are on the DNC list.

No message left, tried to call number back and do not get an answer.

Received this call - something about a survey and for answering the few questions, could get a free trip.

I was taking a nap this afternoon to try to recover from a migraine when this number woke me up!   No message was left.  If it's truly important, the caller would leave a message. I will be reporting them to the FCC (not that it ever seems to do any good).

Mystery calls from this number. Calls are ignored. No messages are left.

I caleld the number back & the voice message stated "political opinions".....

All scammers 971-220-1118 & 971-217-9562 called like 10X in one day stop it.

It's a scam call. They are trolling for marks. If you go through the survey you will get connected to real person who will try to get information  from you. If you try to report the number to NDNCR it will tell you that the # has not been registered for 30 days. Won't help. I suggest doing what I did. Answer the 3 questions. When you get a person on the phone, berate them. I asked the woman that I got if her mother raised her to be a C or if she just turned out that way. Amazing, she still kept trying to real me in. So I just kept saying over and over, You're a C...Until she hung up. Do everything you can to ruin their day. They are parasites. Our Gov isn't doing enough to rid us of them.

I was wrong. You can file at NDNCR. Please do it.

scam call offering free cruise , but you must "pay" a dock fee and a "small" gratuity- have called at home and on my cell phone -they just take a block of numbers and call until they get a pigeon- good luck if you expect this creww to respect the Do Not Call list . Be Smart and protect your identity!

Follow these rules of advice when getting these calls also emails from those whom you do not know. If you get a call from numbers like this don't answer! Don't call back. Only answer calls from those whom you know. Get an email from FEDEX USPS IRS or UPS with an attachment? Just delete the whole thing. If you don't know the person or place you get a link from don't go there!!!!! If your "friend" or "relative" sends an email telling you they are in a foreign country and need money, Someone has probably hacked their email, give them a call to be sure. Check with sites like this when you are not positive who sent it.

Its cheaper and keeps you off of a lot more scam me lists.

This call from P O America.  Also got call from them with phone number 503-902-8409.  I don't answer.

My number is on the Do Not Call Registry, but I keep getting calls my cell from this number and others.  They never leave a message and there's no name displayed on the caller ID.  I have reported them.  I never answer them, but it's annoying.

Since February 1, 2013 we have been hit with unwanted calls averaging 11 a day including this one.  2 weeks ago we registered on the DO NOT CALL site and FCC site.

As of this post 02/20/2013 we have filed 98 complaints within the last 2 weeks with both agencies.

Now I don't know if this is the answer but to date we have dropped to 11 calls a day to 1 to 2 every other day.

Let's band together and start complaining to the 2 agencies and maybe, just maybe these VULTURES will have their feathers plucked and tared
