Because these scammers operate outside the US (think Russia, Eastern Europe, Africa where there are lax to no laws against this type of operation), your state and National Do Not Call Registries are, for the most part, completely ineffective and have no jurisdiction, so I'm not sure how the FCC or government can even go after these scammers.

Same thing, we're on the "No Call" but they call, I don't understand how they don't risk the fine.

If enough people report these Scammers, maybe they will get nailed.  Rules allow for political calls so they pretend to be one and then "bait and switch" as it were.

Just got a call from this number. Did not answer, no message. Advise to go to www.donotcall.gov. This is a web site to stop soliciters. Takes about 30 days to kick in but lasts for a year. Then you have to sign up again. It works. Try it, no cost involved.

This is a marketing company acting as if to be exempt in making these calls by pretending to be a political survey.

Just got a call and a dead air, 1 second voicemail.  Every freaking day it's a new number under my Spam [***] contact.  I with Mr. [***] would get the picture I don't want to talk to him...

not answering your phone won't help you.  If you have a voicemail set up, that will also proove it's a legitimate number.

Called my cell.  Same as the others.  No message left. I don't answer any number I don't recognize.
And only a few people have my number.  Assume it is a telemarketer or at this time of year a political robo-call.

Just called them back from a land line and they said its a Political Survey and you can press 1 to be permanently removed from the list. I do not know if that will actually happen but it's worth a try.

Never answer... and Never press a number to be put on Dont Call back or any other reason they ask you to press a number.   This only affirms your phone number is a viable one.   to those who have VM ,  it you have blocker
or call reject --- please put the number on the list to truly stop these scammers from calling.

Telemarketers, thought putting my number on the no call list would stop these calls. These are as bad as the political calls we can't seem to stop. Our government at work for us, right!!!!!

Furious that these are coming to my cellphone. All these years of the alleged Do Not Call Registry, and things only get worse. Phone activity at my business and at home are both about 95 percent junk.

I called the number .. *67 to block them from viewing my number ... its Political survey of America.

Just had a call from this number.  I also make it a policy to NEVER answer calls from unknown numbers.  And I registered with the DO NOT CALL registry this month. I don't get how unwanted calls manage to get through.  I will just continue to IGNORE
