Caller left a pretty inaudible message. She used my first name and  said she was calling regarding an active case for a person I didnt know. She left  an extension number & her name
which I could not make out. Since I don't owe anyone any money, I wonder what the scam is. And where she got my phone# and name.  I did not return the call.

if you sincerely care about your "hard working" daughter and dont want her being called for something she owes, then step up to the plate and help her out instead of wasting your time and nagging about this. she is a grown woman!!!

I hate that I do have a loan with them but they dint even call me once they directly called my supervisor and told them my personal maners, when I called them back and asked them not to call my boss they said " then pay up". I told them that was illegal and the guy cussed me out??? Said maam all our calls are recoreded and I gurantee we did not give personal info out ok if there calls are recoreded why would he cuss me out??? Horrible not professional I mean I wana pay them but now the have pissed me off

Thats exactly what we intended to do, I hope you never have a situation like this If I havent been able to pay this $200 loan that I have had for 2months is because my husband got laid off I was in a car accdient lost my baby and been in the hospital forever of course people dont understand where is the humanity. There trying to collect a debt but wont take payments they asked me to go to an ACE location then I went to ACE and asked them not to contact my job ACE said they are a competley different company. Ok so is this legit??? Or same guy calling? Its not even an 800 number

The corporate collections department for ACE is a joke. It's 4 different levels of collections, 3 for loans and 1 for checks. They tend to hire uneducated, preferably gay people in the front end loan department. Mid-range collectors are for the most part black men with high school educations, expensive cars and multiple children by multiple mothers. The recovery collections staff is the only portion with any real collection experience or time on the job.

HOWEVER, these people are being fired left and right for "violating" the FDCPA, using management approved scripts for their calls. Employees whose families have depended on this company for years are finding themselves being walked out the door for saying something one day that was "approved" the day before. These collectors, regardless of from where they come in life, are people, and this company is setting them up for failure. Every day there is something new they aren't allowed to say, while they're being written up for not hitting their goals.

Many of the complaints I've seen posted here are based on the training these employees have received, and the constant pressure on them to collect for a company that cares about nothing but its own bottom line. And more than one person mentioned by name on these pages has become unemployed because of things they've said, which management has approved. The collectors are doing what they're instructed to do by their own supervisors. They're not bad people, they're employees. Blame the company and management, not the people on the phone.

This number - 972.550.5069 Ext 7574 continues to call me looking for a Mr. Castro w/Case # 006246992. I again called and told them that this is not his number and to stop calling. I have put my number on the DNC list but nothing seems to stop these people. I am REALLY tired of being harrassed!

I have a real problem with people like you making light of other people's problems.  I doubt very seriously you have a Master's Degree or the fact that you and your husband drive matching BMW's. If you had a Master's Degree you definitely would not be a SAHM, that is one thing for sure.  Be careful how you speak to people because you never know that one person may have lost everything.  Have humanity and go get a real job and quit making light of people's issues.
