Some faking [***] woke me up at 5:46am on a sunday with 2 calls. No voicemails. And message said invalid number when I called back within 5 minutes.

So, whose number does 973-438-3624 belong to? It was traced to Newark, NJ.

If I find that farker, I'll kick their ass so that it ends up coming out of their mouth!

I was called at 7:45am and was asked if my husband had made airline reservations to india and i told them no. I did pick up the phone the first time and told them off but they kept calling back until i answered the phone again. I would really like them to stop calling

I too got a call from this weird number right after my Fiancee started calling me from her cel phone in the Philippines. It rang maybe 6 or 7 times but I never answered the call. This incident also happened in Quezon City around 12pm (Philippine time) where she was at that time. I wonder if there is someone in that area trying to hack on someone else’s number to a call being made to the US. I find this pretty weird.

this  the number that  a  scam  uses  to call me.  i know  that  he is a scam  and  he supposedely  want to give  20 million  and  call me  to ask me  for  payment  i need to make in order to get  my money.

I got a call from this guy. He spoke to me for 2 weeks via email...he found me on a nannying website and told me his name was Linda Kaka and he he was a woman. He sent me pictures of the family and asked me to nanny. Then he sent me a check for close to 4,000$ and asked me to wire 2600$ to their "traveling agency". i brought the check to the bank and they said it was a scam and they made me go to the police. He left me a voicemail still pretending to be the dad in the family who was white when this man clearly spoke little english. It's a scam dont except any checks from people offline!!

I receive calls from philippines on this number here in florida usa and it is legimate

I received a call from 973-438-3624 last evening. Although I rarely answer calls from telephone numbers I do not recognize, I was feeling frisky, so I answered it. It was a computerized message regarding lower mortgage loan interests. Since I was not interested, I hung up. That usually triggers the computer-generated calling system to drop my line. We will see.

got a call last night from caller id 973-4383624 -I did not get a chance to answer (which was good)-it was from the philippines always asking for money (not just $$$ but $,$$$.

It is an automated message stating that my car warranty is about to expire.This is a scam.These calls start after you get calls from 850-473-1276,from Pensacola,FL,about lowering your mortgage rates.I do not have a mortgage.

i received a call from973-438-3624 this morning, did not recognize it.  So im reading all these threads and everyone mentions the Philippines.  So I called my wife on her philippine issued cellphone number.....it was her.  So obviously when she makes a call from her cell, it get routed many times and displays the number of whom ever telecom system get the call from the philippines.  So if you have any loved ones overseas, it could be them.

This number has called me once an hour for the last 14 hours.  I tried to call back but no answer.  I have never been able to answer it.  If I can answer I will post the information for all, however, I suspect it is a solicitation or scam of some sort.

My girlfriend's calls from the Philippines sometimes come through that (973) 438-3624 number. I'm not sure how it ends up being routed in that way.

I received a call from my friend in the philippines, and the number 973-438-3624 is on the caller id. I thought it was my friends cell number but it wasn't. I didn't want to answer it first because it says NJ but when I answer it it was my friend. I really don't understand! How did hat happen?

I got the same call last night. I believe that they are using a computer routing to call the states to have the number forward through someone elses phone then on to us. Giving the idea that the call came from America.

I have recieved NUMEROUS calls and emails from this man, sounds like he's from India or Philippeans. When he calls it says "unknown number" but the actual number did come up and it said it could not go through. This IS a scam, just don't answer. I will never answer.

I received a call from my husband on 1 Aug 2008. He was calling from Sacheon Korea. I almost did not answered because I did not recognized the number.

Received a called early AM about 4AM waking me, Caller ID displayed 973-438-3624 IDT Corp.-I decided to answer it and it was from Nigeria. I understand there are a lot of criminals or shady con artist in Nigeria using various Scams to get money. Has anyone else been contacted by anyone in Nigeria throuht Dating Sites like Match.com? I'd be interested to know.
