missed call

Well I wouldnt answer this number forever and eventually my fiancee left message and since she is in Philippines Im guessing this is a routing number for international calls from many countries.

this number just came up on my cell when my sister called me from the philippines. after reading the thread on this site, i came up to the conclusion that when a foreign call comes through, somehow it is rerouted to this number. It can be a valid call and it can be a someone trying to scam you. but dont think its coming from one person. i see someone doubting their gf in the Phils. ...no that is not one and same girl calling to all of these guys in usa. So unless are expecting any international call, dont answer the call.

I got several calls from this number on my cell phone.. I traced it and it shows it's a landline to NJ but when I finally answered the call it was a friend that was making an international call from his Global cell phone who is visiting in Nigeria but I know this person so I know they are legit...and after reading some of these messages I would rise to the conclusion just to watch out cuz it does seem to be a routing number for international calls so if the person at the other end is someone you do not know in reality then hang up and do not answer them again but if you have a loved one visiting outside the United States I would answer it to be on the safe side

This call was on my cell phone 3 times today.
I tried to call it back and it says it is not a working number. It is a pain in the butt!!!!

Someone keeps calling from this number and leaving messages on my voicemail in another language. I tried to call it back, but it said that it was not a working number.

I get this number on my cell phone about 30 seconds right before my husband calls from Mexico.  This number has absolutely nothing to do with me, my husband, Mexico or anyone he or I know...

I'm so sick of  people and their goddamn scams, and hacking and wasting everyone's time...!

i just received a call from this number as well 973 438 3624.  last night i received several phone calls from Mexico international calling code 527.  i assume it is some kind of scam but always get nervous when i receive these types of call and wonder what other information they may or may not have on me.

called several times but i did not answer.

I just got a call from this number...said his name was James (definitely had an Indonesian accent) and he was calling from the National Children's Cancer Society.  He was very persistent in speaking to the manager.  Refused to leave a message....definitely a scam!

I got a call from my fiance on cell phone from Ghana. This number was displayed. She insisted that she was using the same phone she always calls me on. I searched the internet and got this site. This number seem to show up for international calls sometimes. I call back the number and it did not ring. It just said no one picked up and that it is not a working number.

no it is not a routing number i get the calls myself and it is a man that cant speak english too well

Oh My Gosh!!!  I'm so glad I just typed in the # 973 438-3624.  I too got several emails from a guy on myspace named Craig Akintude, but when he IM me thru yahoo his name was Craig Williams. He said he lives outside Chicago and had to go to Africa for 3 months for business.  Having to do something with building bridges for NNPC & Tinapa Companies.  He told me he was in love with me, can't imagine his life without me, wrote me poems.
I told him I thought he was a joke.  You can't fall in love with a pic online without meeting or knowing the person, but I wrote him back a few times to mess with him.  I had no idea this could be a scam, I just thought he was a really hard up guy looking for love online.  He hasn't asked for money yet as when he just called the sound was hard to hear so I just hung up.  Is this really a scam or like others have said could everyone calling from overseas somewhere show the same phone #.

I'm recieving calls constantly from this number. I don't know the issue but everytime i answer it they hang up. its really scaring me. how did they get my number in the first place?

If I get this number its because somebody is using an international phone card, in my case dublin ireland, however as it is international i can originate from anywhere though through the routing of this number as it facilitates the use of the phone card.

I hung up on them as I don't need to speak to anyone out of my 2 area codes.

I read the first page of notes on here and it definitely is a routing number.
