A long ring tone then Hello,Hello,Hello. Then hung up. Also got other calls.

Got a message from them on my answering machine - said it a guy from a Zwicker Law Firm - kinda freaked out especially seeing these messages above!

Michael Lynch from Zwicker & Assoc called and theatened me. Said Amex is sueing me, that the judge is going to garnish my wages etc. I gave him $350 over the phone. Now this months current Amex statement didnt reflex the $350. The guy ripped me off. They are a collection agency, not a law firm that Michael Lynch claimed them to be.

I'm sooooo glad I found this. I got a call from Ms. Polonki and she threated me also. Said amex was doing to sue me and they would put a lien on my house. I was in tears after I hung up. Ruined my day.

I get alot of calls from this number. They are always rude. I dont know what the problem is because I dont owe them any money.  Alot of times it is late evening or early mornings, even weekends.

They call on my cell frequently, at least once a day, if not more. I don't answer because I don't know who they are and not wasting my minutes on an unknown call.  They don't leave messages either so I don't call them back.  One time they called I did accidentally answer because I was texting when the call came in, and the guy said he was calling about an account at Bally Fitness from 2000, that I cancelled long ago and thought was settled.  Then he asked me, what are you going to do to clear this account. I said, "I have about $31 until payday, so I'm going to guess... Uh, nothing?" and hung up..lol

I get threatening calls from them daily stating that this is "the last time I can voluntarily" take care of my account.  They also leave me messages stating I should handle myself like an adult and call them back.
I never do.

Zwicker & Associates just called me and left me a voicemail stating: That it was not a sales call and that I needed to call them back right away.

Harrasing phone calls at night. They call my cell and hangup or no one is there.They threaten to take you to court, My attn said to let them waist their money and time as they cant do anything anyhow..

Threatening to sue me even though inolved in a debt management program.  Will sue not workout payment plan.  Very demanding.

do not let them ruin your day.  they are a collection agency for amex.  we are in the process of bankruptcy -- they call anyway (against the law -- all calls are supposed to go our attorney, and they know this).  check your state laws on line, find out what you need to do to get them to stop calling -- probably write a letter.  don't let them bully you, bully right back (my favorite?  act like a child, goo goo ga ga dada, maamaa, lol, pisses THEM off).  amex is unsecured credit, they CANNOT garnish your wages, put liens on your home, car, or anything else! they BUY these past due bills from amex for pennies on the dollar!!! everything over what they paid and close to the original debt is GRAVY!!  LAUGH AT THEM, PICK UP AND SAY NOTHING -- MY BEST ONE??  answer . . . PIZZA HUT, CARRY OUT OR DELIVERY??  don't give in for ANYTHING!!!  keep asking their address, credit card number and what kind of crust they want!!!  AGAIN, amex has already slammed your credit, these people can do NOTHING!! it's already been handed over!!  you would be giving them money and your credit stays bad, regardless!!  DON'T let them get the better of you.  they are mean because it makes you give them money.  remember, by now, amex is out of it.  you give them money and it will not go on your amex bill!!  it goes in their pocket because they bought your debt/bill!  hang in there, things happen to everyone.  sorry you are going through this.

Folks, these guys are definitely liars, but...   *I* have never had an AMEX, I do not have credit cards of any kind, I am not in bankruptcy or in a repayment plan, I owe no one money. These guys happened to dial my number and
are willing to try to collect anything from anyone foolish enough to pay them. DO NOT  PAY THEM! I, personally, filed a complaint with my state Attorney General's complaint dept, which worked for me. Do not feel guilty if you owe someone money! They collect by playing on your emotions. You are entitled to peace and quiet by law and this includes freedom from zombie debt collectors.

They have been calling everyday twice a day for the last two years asking for a sonia I tell them that they have the wrong number and that they need to stop calling. I called the company back and told them if they didn't stop calling my phone I am going to take legal action against them. I guess we will see if it will work.

I am working with a CCN and now this guy calls.  Left message I must call him back immediately.  All my crdit accounts have been notified about the CCN  -

I don't know why these people are now calling.
Have read several articles about this company and they collection tactics that are not very well received.

I see people saying they called for AMEX......

but I have NEVER had an AMEX card.......

I dont answer numbers I dont know.....and I am tired of these people calling.

same details as much as many stories above--they keep calling and saying i owe them money (asking for a name that another bogus company kept asking for) or change at various times. can the MA AG look into this?

These jerks originally identified themselves as a LAW FIRM the first time they called about defaulted PLUS loans that were taken before I became disabled.  They said they would Fed-Ex forms to help me get them discharged, & needed information to prepare the forms - - - insisted on three other message phone numbers to contact me if I could not be reached at the number we were on.  

I told them I would give them dead relatives #s and they accepted those numbers!  No forms ever arrived.  Now my answering machine is being filled with VERY LOUD, VERY LONG drum & bass solos from this number.  No reputable company would do this.  I have no intention of ever answering another call from them.
