I have had the same experience. Never mind the so called Do Not Call list which seems to mean nothing. I've seen posts of numbers which were reported to the FTC over 4 years ago and are still calling people today. Good job FTC / government. Way to waste tax payers dollars with more false promises.

Even if the link did work, filing a complaint with the FTC seems to do nothing but waste your time. I've looked up numbers that have called me and they were reported to the FTC over 4 years ago. I would like to believe they are backlogged and haven't got to it but my gut tells me that a human never sees those complaints and they go in file 13.

Hard to do when they hang up on you first. So you actually think that we should answer every call that rings on our phone just in case it may be a "honest" telemarketer? ROTFLMFAO. You are a special kind of idiot aren't you?

But you should still answer your phone every time cause it may be someone from ceo@costaricascallcenter.com's company and according to him they are "honest, hard working men and women". So you really need to put up with answering all those scam calls just in case you may be lucky enough to get a call from them. ROTFLMFAO

I bet their "difficulties" are that their hard drive if full. So many complaints have been registered there that they do nothing about. It's sad our tax dollars fund them.

Really? So how long does it take? More than 4 years? Look up how long people have been complaining about some of these numbers. FTC is a joke.

It does no good to be on the do not cal registry, I still get telemarketers. It seems that when the original congressional bill was introduced, some legislators chose to includ all kinds of loopholes just for the results that we are getting. The registry has no teeth. I would like to know what legislators altered the original bill to make it more ineffective. It seems that the big business republicans would vote against or scuttle a bill that most people want to protec their privacy. Our country is indeed f u c k ed u p.

How to kill telemaketers with your iphone:

    1. Dial the offending #, and hang up.  This puts the # in your 'recent calls' list on your phone.
    2. Dial the # back.  If possible hit '0' or '1' for an operator
    3. Now, hit 'Add Call' on your iphone.
    4. Dial back the same number, when it answers, hit 'Merge Call' on your iphone.
    5. repeat steps 1-5 as many times as you can.

Now sit back and don't say anything. You have basically created a 5-way conference call to the same call center.  Often you can get 5-6 telemarketers screaming at each other "this is an incoming line!"

Resist the temptation to speak or make any noise. (hard to do when you are laughing)

After about 10 minutes of repeating this they will start to figure out that 'someone is playing with the phones'.  This is when you pipe in angrily and state that 'You called me, im just returning all of your calls at the same time.  TELL YOUR SUPERVISOR I HAVE LOTS OF TIME AND WILL HOLD UP AS MANY OF YOUR EMPLOYEES AS I WANT unless you stop calling this #. "  Tell them to tell their manager that it is just not cost effective to call this # anymore.

I am still getting those annoying calls. o many on here are getting them and it just does not stop.I guess the registry for complaints feels it is not serious enough? Lots of elderly people who are sick and confused get those scary calls. It should be reported on a TV network...maybe 7 on your side?
We have to stop these criminals    from calling
All these comments should have done it by now.
