Being that this is a phone number lookup site, it would be much more helpful if you had posted under that number.

They are spoofing local numbers here in the Twin Cities area. They called us on both of our business lines and tried to pull their scam as detailed in many other accounts here.

Just got a call from a local number looking for someone that does not work here stating they were with USSP. Wouldn't tell me where package was from and then claimed to have wrong number.

I'm at a business without caller ID so we didn't get the number, but the caller dialed in and got one of our assistant manager's and asked for me, the GM by name - stating apparently he was with UPS. When I got the call he said he was with USSP Shipping and they had a shipment returned to them that needed to get sent out so he needed to confirm our address and contact info...(same stuff)... So I cut him off and asked him to confirm again who was sending the package and what it was. He repeated that it was USSP Shipping and he "just worked in the shipping department, ma'am - [he] wouldn't know the contents." - then he put me on hold to get a supervisor. When he put me on hold, the hold music was a very perky woman's voice that came on and said "Please Enjoy the renditions of [some comedian's name] while you wait!" and at that point I was sure it was a scam, and I hung up.

Since this is a phone number look-up site, your post would have been more helpful if you had placed it in the proper thread.

You know it's a scam just because the fact that the USPS never calls you about a package.  I've had several packages misdelivered or returned to sender and they never contacted me.  They just initiate the return process and send it back by the slowest method possible.  It often takes weeks to return to sender.

Now that we are on the subject, whatever happened to that crispy bacon we used to get?  Is the USSP in on that?
