I clicked the News Button and I found this, but I am really not sure what they do. Maybe some kind of sports league hotline?
2017 USSP ALL-STAR GAME: LIBERTY OVER PATRIOT 4-1
At Petco Park, Dan Straily pitched two solid innings with three strikeouts for the win, and game MVP Brandon Crawford sealed the victory with a two-run shot in the 8th to lead the Liberty Conference to their second straight defeat of the Patriot Conference in the All-Star Game.
Liberty scored early with a RBI sacrifice fly by Anthony Rizzo in the first and a JT Realmuto double-play grounder in the 2nd. The Patriots answered with an RBI double by Joey Votto in the 3rd, but that was all they could muster. Crawford's homer plated Nelson Cruz to finish off the scoring.
Wade Davis, A.J. Ramos, and Andrew Miller got the final outs. Cory Kluber took the loss. Box Score 2016 USSP ALL-STAR GAME: LIBERTY OVER PATRIOT 5-4
Game MVP Nolan Arenado blasted a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 8th to cap a 3-run comeback and lead the Liberty to a 5-4 win over the Patriots.
The Patriots took lead in the 4th on an Ian Kinsler RBI single. Liberty tied it in the bottom of the inning with a Yoenis Cespedes homer. The Patriots scored three runs in the 5th on Chris Davis' three-run shot. J.D. Martinez added a solo home run in the 7th for Liberty to make it 4-2.
Asdrubal Cabrera led off the bottom of the 8th with his own solo homer to cut the lead to 4-3. After a groundout, Carlos Carrasco came in and hit Cespedes before Cole Hamels entered and yielded the eventual game-winner to Arenado. Jon Lester, Erasmo Ramirez and Aroldis Chapman retired the Patriots in order in the 9th. Box Score 2015 USSP ALL-STAR GAME: PATRIOT OVER LIBERTY 1-0
One run was all the Patriot Conference All-Stars needed, and it was all they got, in a 1-0 shutout of the Liberty Conference All-Stars at Target Field.
MVP Tim Hudson had one of many stellar pitching performances on the night for the Patriots. Hudson struck out sluggers Jose Abreu, Giancarlo Stanton, and Buster Posey in the 6th on a mere ten pitches.
The game's only run was driven in by Mike Trout in the 4th inning on a single to right that plated the speedy Jose Altuve, who had doubled.

I received the same exact call from 516-218-9105 saying they are from USSP.

Used 415-234-2021 - really aggressive and crappy attitude, I hung up on her.
I also just received a call from this "Sam Davis" from US Standards. Same stupid Trump joke, asking about an undelivered package, job title, zip code, number of employees, etc.
This exact same thing just now happened to me on our business phone. On the caller ID a number did not come up but this name did, "MEDIGAPBYPHONE". The lady, "Kerry", claimed we were a good customer, had a package, blah, blah, said her hair was a mess. Obviously reading from a script. What made the whole thing funny was, the call caught me at a bad time and sounded fishy so I asked if they were trying to scam me! The lady laughed a little and said, "Why of course not!" HA, HA I guess the scam is on them because when she begin her spill I laughed and hung up on her. Always be careful because if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is!!

found on wikipedia that ussp stands for:
The USSP Series is the smallest VCO currently available which is housed in a package measuring 0.2” x 0.2” x 0.06”. In additional to being uniquely characterized by their ultra-small size, they also provide exceptionally low power consumption, typically <30mW, making them ideal for mobile radio communication systems and portable satellite terminals.
Z-Communications, Inc. manufactures the world’s most extensive selection of 100% RF tested VCO surface mount modules. Call toll free 1-877-808-1226 to speak to a sales representative today.
We carry a broad range of VCO products from 40 MHz to 14 GHz and we offer various oscillator topologies and resonator technologies. Our voltage controlled oscillators feature low phase noise, linear tuning, low pushing/pulling, excellent harmonic suppression and narrow to wide/octave bandwidths.
If you are unable to find a specific VCO listed below that meets your requirements we can build a custom VCO for your particular application or replacement solution.
History has proven the Z-Comm tradition of manufacturing technology leadership. Anticipating the needs of the wireless revolution, we have been pioneering VCO standards and imprinting our footprints on the path of wireless development since our founding in 1987. We supplied the first commercial SMT-based VCO solution for the commercial VSAT market with our “S” style package measuring 20mm x 20mm. We continued to innovate reductions in packaging technology and, in 1992, we began manufacturing the 12.7mm x 12.7mm MINI packaged VCO.
Oh my gosh these weirdos had my name already, I handle the mail stuff at my place of business. The guy said the same thing about having better hair then Trump, so weird. They wanted to send us Brewer Jersey's. I also called them back and got the same message for this bogus company.

They called with the same scheme saying our Chargers jersey had been returned to them since they tried to send it to a PO Box. We are a San Diego company and the number they called from was local 619-490-4028, but you would think they should know that the Chargers aren't in San Diego anymore if they are going to try to use that as their hook.

Got a similar script. Asked to speak to our warehouse manager, as he had a package being held. I advised her our mgr was a she, not a he and she asked for the name, which I would not provide. She asked for the office manager and I advised they wee out of the office. insisted on getting a manger. I asked what the package was and where it was coming from. She said she did not have any of the information (hmmmm) Finally i switched her into my mgrs voicemail. She listened and said, yep it is a scam. If they call- hang up !!

I just received the call today notifying me of a package that has not been able to get shipped to us because the front of the packaging is messed up and if she could speak to someone in charge of situations like that, I had put her on hold but when I got back on the phone with her I asked her how she knew the package was meant for us if the mailing label was so damaged? She laughed said hold on one moment and hung up. I wish I had gotten that Trump jokester, it would have been hilarious.

Received the same call as everyone else from a (954) 314-8774 number. I probably gave out more info than I should have (physical address, # of employees) before I realized where it was going. One question...what is the scam? What are they phishing for? I'm always so careful but this one caught me off guard.

I received a call from USSP Shipping today. They would not speak to my admin assistant, they said they could only speak to someone of authority. I took the phone call and the very rude female on the phone informed me that they needed to give me some information on a failed delivery and she would be transferring me to her supervisor. Seeing as how we do receive many shipments per day I thought I should see what the call was referring to.
They next person to pick up was "Kim", although I doubt that was her real name. She asked how I was doing, I said "Good, how are you today?" she replied...."I'm doing good, I woke up with a better head of hair than Donald Trump today!" and proceeded to laugh. I was offended and hung up. Still thinking that this was in regards to a real shipment, I decided I was going to call them back and tell them how unprofessional that was and demand to speak to a supervisor.
I called the number on my caller ID which was 407-274-9958 and lo and behold "Kim" answered....she said "Thanks so much for calling back". She tried to start what I believe was going to be her sales pitch but I cut her off asking her if she was the person that I had just spoken to who had made the Donald Trump joke. She laughed and tried her pitch again. I stopped her a second time and asked her the same question. This girl is DUMB! She actually said "Oh about having a better head of hair than Donald Trump?" I said "Ya", she responded and I'm quoting here "No that wasn't me." I asked how she knew what the comment was then since the only thing I had asked her was if she was the person who had made the Donald Trump joke. At this point she said, "I'm so sorry, I have to apologize to you." I said "Good that's all I'll be needing from you." She said she was sorry that she had called the wrong number and that she was actually trying to get a hold of someone in Boca Raton."
Myself and our office personnel have decided to call them back and prank them. So we are starting with "Hey is your refrigerator running?" but we are open to suggestions!

Received a call from 425-333-3206. Made the mistake of giving my name to them in the past as I handle our UPS shipping. They now ask for me by name. They claim to be USSP shipping and they need to get my address to ship a package that came back to them as undeliverable. I asked who the package was from and they transfer me to their manager. The manager comes on the line and tries to sell you/send you something. At this point in time, I tell them to remove our number from their calling list or just end up hanging up on them. Definitely a scam. Don't be fooled, they are not United Parcel Service (UPS) or United States Postal Service (USPS).

Same call today Lynn. All the same as above. Package wasn't delivered, can't tell me what it was, "sorry, I can't hear you and I'm new here -- what is your cell phone." Transferred to supervisor about what package was supposed to be. A "thank you" gift for our business which I've never heard of. The number was local 412-313-5964. I called back, and they wanted to know my name. I said I just wanted to know what they do there. She said "yes, but first who do I have the pleasure of speaking with." I said that's all I needed to know.
