Fake payday loan collection scams - Please list new numbers here [2]

New number to add to this list 513-399-4987. Calling and posing as fraud investigators, micheal Moore and Scott powers, saying if you don't pay this six year old payday loan you'll be charged with fraud. I've never even had a payday loan. The second time I spoke with them I informed them that I contacted the FTC and my states attorney generals office and if they had a debt they truly believe I owed then simply mail me the paperwork. The scum bag hung up of course.

Sometimes they will buy past info and threaten you with that.

This is another payday loan scammer.  They spoofed the number (000)000-0000 on caller ID.  They were using the same robotic message stating it was "Red Johnson" and to call back at 888-671-4866.  Look up this number on here you'll see, same idiots, same game.  Same scammers, don't call them back, don't give them any info.  Anyone who threatens you with paperwork or threatens you with arrest for a debt is full of crap.  If you ever applied for a payday loan most likely this is how these scammers are getting your information.  Know you're rights and know that no one is going to arrest you, the FBI does not investigate payday loan debts, the only thing they do investigate is these scammers.  Report them to the FTC, FBI and Attorney General's office and ignore their calls.  This is exactly how they scare you into giving them money.

I go like 6 phones calls in a row at work today....from a Kevin Smith saying he was an officer the burera of crime investagation dept... 877-423-1163 and 877-308-4487 and owed on a payday loan and if do not pay I can be arrested at work or at home.. and was very rude with me. I just laughed at him and said you are funny haha.. then called again and again at my job and my boss got on the phone with them he used to be a police officer they hung up on him... So I called the police none emergancy line and told them what happened. One of the cops came to my job and even called the number I had.. And ask who they were and name of business they would not tell him.. Then they told him that he was a terrosist and hung up on him...lol   This people are awful and just full of it... Only thing I do not like is they have my name and ss#...  other name used was a Daniel smith... Then I got a phone call about 30 min later with a female stating same thing 415-484-6151. These people are so full of SH**

I have borrowed from online payday loan companies many times in the past, who ask for you to enter you SIN#. I have provided it to them and I have received the loan many times from them. That is not a scam. I think they ask for your SIN # to ensure it is you who is applying for the loan and not anyone else. Anyways those online companies, who I have borrowed from, I repeat are not a scam.

So, what brings you to 800notes?    If you have had nothing but good experiences with the offshore, unlicensed PDL industry,  why would you even be looking at this site?    How would you even know about it?   Honestly, your lies are so transparently obvious it's embarrassing.

Yes, we all have received these type of calls on here, their threats are ridiculous.  There are no criminal charges against you for a payday loan that you took or didn't.   They are full of crap , they can't do a damn thing to you, it's the common payday loan scare tactic.  Report these idiots to the FBI, FTC, and stats attorney generals office.

New number on caller ID is 543-465-4768.  Non stop calling, saying they are legal dept on check fraud.  We don't even write checks.  We have a bank card and that is all we use.  Scammers and I would love to have your home number.

Are you one of them?  These complaints are real and yes they are scams to try to get money from people who work hard.  Don't come on here telling people these are not scams.  A legal dept does not call you and tell you that you are going to jail for not paying a bill.

So this hapen just today we got a call from a call center. I called the number the lady from the call center gave and reached a Mr. Richard Delgado from the law firm Johnson and associates, its a California number 657 201 9754. He claims to be head of the  legal Department. That being said he is also the receptionist the legal assistant and the lead attorney. He is very rude and knows nothing about the law. It is now my job to be a trun pain in his side. I hope this helps someone.
