The EXACT thing happened to me today, I knew it couldn't be legit, so when he told me he was sending the officers I said, "BRING IT ON BUDDY"!! They should be hung!!

Yes they called me from two numbers the first one is 202-241-7740 and the second one is 202-241-0958 and they do have accents and they say that if I don't pay the money today then I will go to jail and I don't know these people they say that they are from Washington DC and that I have to call Mark Brown that's what they said their name is I hope that you get these people soon I changed my cell number and will they beable to get this number they called me for 2 days so far I hope that they don't call me today or no more so someone please help me

i was gone when friends of mine took the message so i called this number. i gave them false info and then told them i borrowed the phone and they would have to call my home phone. i am trying to call them back but their phone is busy. donot give anyone personal information over the phone.

Hi All, I also received a telephone call on my cellular from 202-247-6480. IRS scam. Indian callers and very, very stupid. So, as we say in the United States, I have been fighting fire with fire. I call them repeatedly, I mean repeatedly. (Yes, I am very busy but, I have large blocks of time where I can call repeatedly from my phone and use my car system). They HATE it. I am driving them nuts! I encourage all to do this. It will tie up their lines and they can't be calling other people to rip off. I've been doing this for days (and I plan to continue it as long as I can) and they are actually begging, begging me to stop calling them. It's hysterical. I've also called all of the various agencies too to complain. They'll get caught soon. Also, I'm sure they are off shore but, there might be some connection to Britain. Several have distinct British-Indian accents. Don't be fooled -- they are stupid, stupid.
Very good move on your part! I love it and will try it. I've gotten 2 calls now, one is a 949 number and the other is 909 number. Both calls made by a thick accented male (sounds middle eastern) stating that I return their call regarding an important matter that has made against me. I love that they have ended the call with "God Bless".
I had man called and say he was Lt. Davidson he said he was calling for my sister Celina Swanson he wanted to know if this was her contact # !! I said No he said well then I am just going to have to put a warrant out for her arrest !! I told him go ahead I don't have a sister !! He told me I know your lying and I will Prosecute you and it is going to cost you $3000 fine !! I then told him go ahead [***] I really Don't have a Sister !! I too just got a call from YMax that was a scare tactic about criminal charges against me and I had too call immediately and get a criminal Lawyer in the worse disguised voice ever. I recommend calling all 3 credit reporting companies and block you SSN and credit history. Thank you for the the hot line number I will call today. NY City number is 1-347-779-0192.
I'm sure they are up to no good.

Omg, this happened to my husband on 11/17/14. It was clear from the start it was a scam when a man with a thick accent named David Smith said he was IRS Sr. attorney and police were coming since I did not pay a mistake on 2008 taxes. While my husband questioned him I called the number back, they answered IRS, same thick accent, I asked for the name of Sr. attorney, he said that was him! I asked how many Sr attorneys were there he said three, I asked for names, all three were different from the man speaking to my husband, Sam jones, Bill Kelly, and him Bob smith, I laughed and said they were a joke, and hung up. While my husband cursed off the other guy on his phone, then I filed a complaint on its.gov for phone scams. Our call was also from a YMax #-347-979-9320 LOW LIFE SCUM
