411.com returns Ymax communications and a location for anyone that is using Magic Jack VOIP. The association with Ymax means the caller has a Magic Jack and a subscription which is about as close to free service as possible. Rarely do you find the name of the caller.

Please join me in harassing the heck out of the crooks too. Here are the phone numbers they haunt me from: 909-271-8545  and 803-761-0668 and 803-761-0069. Block you number first though or they may start bothering you too. Of course, if you are reading this, you are likely already a victim of their scheme. They are calling people non-stop. When they are asked to not call, they hang up or worse, one guy told me to not call him anymore. The nerve. Yet, they still keep calling. They have been harassing me for months. I cannot change my number and no blocking I have done has helped because they use many various numbers to do the same thing. They act like they are Advance America, but when I filed a complaint with Advance America, they said it isn't them, but crooks who have already stole a lot of money from people and they harass non-stop via a person on the call or a garbled robo-call. I have been harassed for a long time and have had it. I have sought for the powers that be to stop them, but no one seems to care even though so many have been violated. So today, I have called them non-stop. I have made it my goal, despite having a full life and would rather not have to do this...but messing with them right back with a taste of their own medicine. Maybe eventually the Feds, FTC, and/or Law enforcement will finally help someday. And they do all have Middle Eastern Accents, but the calls are truly coming from South Carolina and San Bernardino landlines.. Don't dare apply for an Advance America Loan ever. For one because the didn't care and for two, how do these people have those numbers unless they have someone working inside of Advance America or something like that? They didn't help me at all.  Thank you for helping in any way you can.

Using the block your number does not always work !!! Please do not hand out bad advice, especially since you have no clue just where these may or may not be. Its inviting serious consequences that can backfire big time.

Calling numbers back doesn't help matters, in fact can make them worse. Its bad because the numbers are spoofed as a ROT. You could be calling some innocent persons number or a innocent business that had nothing to do with the calls. While we understand that it is a frustrating thing, its just a bad idea.

Consider buying a call blocking device or phone. Many are around $40.00 and can block up to 1500 numbers. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Susan, you are one person, they are many. They have robo-dialing software and can call you from many more numbers than you realize. They can give your number to their criminal friends and ask those friends to also call you with their own robocallers. You (and the rest of us) cannot win this war with the tactics you want to use.

If this is your personal number, yes, you can. Very slowly. Get a no-contract cell phone like Net10 or Cricket, etc., and a plan that gives you unlimited minutes and texts for a set monthly fee. Then notify the people you trust of your new additional phone number, and why you have it. Get a call blocker for your current phone number and NEVER answer the phone if you don't recognize the number. Let the calls go to an answering machine or voice mail.

If this is a business number for your small business, you can use a call blocker and an answering machine, and simply screen all incoming calls. One characteristic of scammers is they rarely leave messages.

Eventually, as they don't get any response out of you, your current phone number will drop out of their call lists. We are all being harassed by these criminals, in various ways. If they can't talk to you, they can't begin to scam you. I've gotten calls on a cell phone number (backup phone) that has never been given to anyone, the scammers are simply dialing random numbers in an area code and exchange hoping to get a victim.

If it is Real, you will either get a letter in the mail, a police officer at your door, and/or a summons to appear in court.  Baring that you will get an actual arrest warrant for failure to appear.  Anything other is just a scam.  Read up on the law if you are not sure.  Always get a call back number and look it up to see if it is a real number.  If so, look up the office that they say they are from and use the phone book to call and check yourself.  It is simple, if you haven't received at least 2 official snail mail notices and a sheriff or processor hand delivered notice with a court date.  It Isn't Real.

No personal legal dispute may be settled without an opportunity for you to contest it in court.  Even a deduction in your pay.  Yes, they may get an order to take it out without you present, but the law provides you an opportunity to protest it and be heard in court with your appeal or original complaint.  Don't be fooled by these scam artist.  They have become the modern electronic hidden version of the "grifter".

Got a message that I'm being sued. I Google their num and it is registered by ymax. The number that they gave me to call back is 323 210 8095. When they called me their num is blocked.

So what does that have to do with the title of this thread "Federal Agency Impostors"  The key words there being Federal Agency?  Did Ralph claim to be a federal employee?  UPS is not a Federal Agency.  Or was this simply an ad for that App that seems to keep popping up here?  " just Remember ALWAYS do your RESEARCH"  Maybe you should try your own advice.

Against whom have the federal charges been filed?
Against you?
Against someone else?  Who was that?
What authority fled the charges?

If charges have been filed, then by now, you have a copy of the paperwork.
That means you can give us the exact statute reference.
I will give you a hint.  It will look something like 999 USC 4444.  But it won't be exactly that number.  We will be able to see how successful you were, by reading the statute that is referred to on the charges.

"Charges" can be "Executed"???  I never heard this term before, and I have seen plenty of "charges", including the multiple "charges" against then-Governor Blagoevich.  No charges were "executed" against him, and yet he is in prison.

Did you physically take the scammer "to the curb"?  Which curb?  I'm sure that action, or the result of the action, will have been on the local news, and the news people will have posted pictures of the curb.
We would like to see this curb.  Give us a web site reference to the newspaper or television story.

You have built up a case?  The authorities allowed you to do this?  By yourself?  You can surely point us to a copy of the case material, or the memorandum of action taken by the authorities, when they took over the case.

You see, if you cannot answer each of these questions with the exact type of information that the questions require, then it is you who are the fraud.

And don't try to tell us that the information is secret or classified.  As soon as charges are filed, they are all published.
