Nah, "Sasha" shrugged it off when I asked if she worked for Larry Penman. She's in sales mode, and still thought I would go for it. Her most used line: "If you don't want it, we don't have anything to talk about.".

I had asked her (with no response) whether she was registered in Arizona as a telemarketer, where she would need to have all of those business names listed...

Was just thinking I was off of the list, but just recived a call from an unknown number. I got connected and played along.  I asked what company this was and the guy said 'bank card services'.  I asked him if they had a website and he said not at this time.  He told me that other information would be given once I am qualified. I asked him if he was located in Phoenix Az and he said he was. So I asked if Larry Penman was there, and he was. He was busy closing a deal to talk to me.  Looks like Larry the scum bag is still in business.

Just got a call from an unknown number and after talking a bit I discovered that it was from the LIR Group in Pheonix. I asked if Larry Penman was there and the guy said yes.

Everyone who reads this should call 1-866-279-3317 and ask for Larry.

Got another call from Larry Penman's LIR Group.  They are now using an unknown number instead of spoofed numbers.  This is the second day in a row that I got a call from them. I know it is them because I asked if they are in Phoenix and I ask to speak to Larry Penman.  They are operating an illegal robo calling center in Phoenix.  They do not have a telemarketing licsence from the state of AZ.  It would be great if everyone would just call them. Their number is 866-279-3317

I am getting the same thing!! Only they hang up on me after I say "Hello" a few times.  They call my mobile number EVERY DAY from another spoofed number.  Often 501 area codes.  I think we are dealing with the same people because one of the first times (almost a year ago) that they called they said their name was something like LIR (funny how it looks like "liar") but said it stood for something else.

Well they have only set up on AZ in the past year...and LIR stands for Low Interest Rate.   When they call, lead them on a little and ask if Larry Penman is there and that you need to speak to him.

I'm only getting one or two calls at most per day, primarily from a spoofed Virginia number, and only dead air that hangs up after about ten to 15 seconds. The number was among those that LIR used before, but I can't identify any company to the calls. It's broken for me, probably more than a week since I have had anything other than dead air.

I received a "Rachel" call this afternoon, after a couple weeks of dead air calls. My false USAA card information got me deep into their system again, eventually a conference call to USAA, and wasting almost 40 minutes of their time (I'll post the two numbers I was called from after composing this). It's the Larry Penman operation in Phoenix, going under the name of "Clearing House Inc.", but I was supplied with a toll-free number that doesn't work: 1 (888) 976-6694.

More names: Initial call was from "Charlie Benson" (he said he was in Atlanta), who redialed me when mistakenly disconnecting the first call. From there it went to a "Michelle Mattews" (assuring me about any security concerns), then to "Mercedes". My "Financial Advisor" was "Brent Woods", sounding so young that I wouldn't want to be advised by him whether he had tied his shoelaces correctly.

Most of my interaction was with "Brent", who confirmed that Larry Penman was his boss. I also asked about "Sasha", but "Brent" didn't think that she worked there now. "Brent" said that they didn't need to be registered as telemarketers, as they "didn't call people", but alluded to that being done at the same location.

Calls to the number above (1 (866) 279-3317) are answered with the new (?) company name, and I also verified it is a Larry Penman operation speaking to a representative there.

"Michelle Matthews" even called (from (361) 271-4848, which has an option to "remove" yourself from their calling list) me ("Richard Butter") back today, trying to get information on why I am so interested in them. She says she doesn't work for Larry Penman (she phrases that as the "fulfilment" portion), and that she is in the "verification" section in Atlanta (which is where "Charlie Benson" also said he was). When I prompted which part of the operation was calling my number she didn't answer, but said it was actually Experian that had initiated me (the fictitious "Richard Butter") being on their list.

"Michelle" really didn't respond much when I expressed that a fictitious person doesn't have a credit history, and terminated the call...

Good work FrankFurter!  I haven't got any calls from the scum bag Larry Penman the past couple weeks.  I did get deep with a calling center out of New York yesterday located in Valley Cottage and they use their company name as Educare. I talked to one of the Attorney General offices in NY and they know about them and send them letters but they are only returned.  So I am working on them now.   But....I am sure I will get another call from Larry Penman's group.

LIR Group stands for liar group. Don't bother with their pitch. Call 888.976.6694 this is a live person. They will ask for your name etc. just give them your phone number to take off their call list. I was told it would be done immediately. We will see......
