Fake payday loan collection scams - Please list new numbers here.

After I replied to those messages I posted I never heard from them again I just closed the email address used to apply for the loan and havent been contacted since =) hope everything stops for you soon good luck

This makes at least the fourth time you Accu-Check spammers have laid a fake reply on this site. I think this thread handily illustrates that your industry has zero respect for consumer data privacy. In the face of this crime wave of fraudulent collection, why anyone would get within thirty yards of a payday lender leaves me baffled.

WhistleBlower, you are funny.  I would have done the same thing...good for you!  But listen I was serious when I suggested calling accu-checkcashnow.com.  I told my aunt about it this company, cause she was in a real bind.  She is still thanking me!! Now thru the end of the end of the year they are offering 1/2 off service fees.  No other cash advance company does that.

i will look up his number like I did the person who was harassing me. Once I did, I called him back numerous times. It's okay because they usually leave a number. Now he will not take my calls. Additionally, I have listed his name and various numbers on every website I can find. I suggest you do the same. People like this deserve no mercy.

I spoke to the police department in Huntington Beach and was told I needed to contact my local police, which I did. The Huntington police said if the local police requested their assistance they would help. I have reported his number (along with the other 3) to my local police. I am hoping this will be of some help to all the people this man has terrorized. I suggest everybody else do the same. Here is the information I gave my local authorities:

They (I think he may have other people working for him) spoke with the owner of my company, and in addition to calling him a moron, accused me of being a thief. Additionally, they threatened me with imprisonment, confiscating my property, and possibly losing my children. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. A person like this, that targets people already in trouble, is a monster and needs to be stopped! He does not play by the rules. I believe if the people that he has harassed unite and cause him a fraction of the grief he has caused us, it will be time well spent.

If you live in his area, please file report with the police department for harassment. Bullies like him need to be stopped.

I have already posted a picture of the guy who runs the company attached to this number. The real name of their company is Axia International. At least that's what they call it. Unfortunately nobody cares because they are in ahmedabad India.

If you live in Florida, and anyone calls you on the telephone with modified "caller ID" information, report them to your State Attorney.  In Florida, it is illegal to intentionally modify your Caller ID information.

I got the same phone call from 8607613297 I told them that they are wrong his name was Paul he spoke with a indian accent they tried to get my ssn and when I got mouthy he hung up on me so my friend called back for me and they wouldn't even give the name of who they are to her which is extremely illegal whoever they are don't believe them they are scanners its been about two days now all is quite son far

    I'm assuming you're the moderator/administreator. Unless the August 25, 2011 letter [page 14/15] by "jayy" in the thread "Scams and Phishing: Payday Loan Scams"... is a fake, it's very insightful into how things work. Perhaps you can put it in this thread or on its own. The best thing would be for the FBI or Secret Service to contact Jayy and run a sting on these crooks. I got a threatening message from a 619## in April, contacted Danny Leighton at Fox, and was interviewed. The only bummer was that the videographer wasn't running the tape when I received a US Government Grants Dept. call from India while on the set. Danny may run a piece on that scam, but I'd prefer he do a sting on the $49 Carpet Cleaning Special/$29 Air Ducts Special robo-calls. I set up appointments this Thursday and Friday. The carpet cleaners tried to cover their faces w/ their contracts when I began photographing them. No company name on the vans, no logos on the shirts, and no company name on the contracts/ivoices, either. But they can be traced due to my getting their license plates. I'm surprised they keep coming - I'm up to 1/2 a dozen carpet appointments and 2 "we'll be in your neighbourhood" remodeling appointments. Thanks for the good work you do with this site.

got calls from 877-881-7751 telling me i had to pay a pay day loan from 2008. trying to find out info on this number cant find any. says they are calling from prudential and threatening me with legal action if i don t pay

This is my third call from the same person and he has use the following numbers786-728-8792, then cell phone 305-587-2544, and tonight 786-601-1934 two 786 were from Homestead Florida the other from Key something Florida, when I asked him the name of the company so I could call them my self he told me I was going to jail so me or my lawyer had better call him NOW or I would be sorry when you tell them its a scam they hang up It is the same voice a forginer most likey from a middle eastern countrie or India  This is the second time I recieved I recieved this man named Kevin Johnson and the ther one was from Califoria when I called the cell phone back he answer who the F*** was I caling his cell phone when I said you called my friend and tod me tocall he said he was an attorney the man name he was using was no longer paticing law he had passed away in 1985 I started laughing at him I told him I just saw the show done on Entertianment Tonight and he was dead as I was on line looking him up to report him to the law board  he called me a few choice words and hung up, he had the nerve to call my friend again the other day saying his name was Terry but the voice was the same
