I get calls from this number every now and then on my work phone. Of course, they never leave a message.

They call everyday and never leave a message. I do not answer or call back unidentified [***].

I missed a call then called back.  The person told me that they handle public & private matters... NO SH@T! Don't we all?  I just block them now.

I just received a voicemail from this number 855-974-6109.  They claim to be a DEBT COLLECTOR.  The  message was from a company called EOS CCA.  I have answered my phone before when they call and I told them the person they are asking for does not live here.  I have had the number for 3 years.  They just ignore what I have said and keep calling.  It wouldn't be so bad but I had a friend visiting me and when I played my voicemails the first thing it says is "this message is from a debt collector".  Hard to explain that they have the wrong number to a friend that now thinks I have financial problems...which I don't.  Theses people must be grasping at straws to find the person who has debt with them and they are screwing with law abiding people!  I am tired of paying for a phone and having them harass me.

EOS CCA is a legitimate debt collector company.  They have their own website.

A Website does not make a company "legitimate".  There are many companies that have web sites that are scam, the websites are set up in an attempt to trick people like you into believing them and then they steal your money.

You need to send them a certified, return receipt "not me" letter.  Here is the information you need to do that as well as to report their criminal activity.  They are aggressive and have been known to violate Federal and State laws repeatedly.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

They have called me half a dozen times on this number (God knows how many times on the other numbers) and never leave a message.  When I call them back "my call is very important to them and I have to hold for the next available representative".  BS!!!

Some bottom feeding debt collector looking for someone who doesn't live here.....blocked again....and again...and again.....

Get numerous calls from this # and all they do is hang up on my answering machine.  If it was a legitimate bill collector you would think they would have sent something by mail before even phone calls or in addition to.  If it is legitimate and they have the phone # they have the address on record as well.  I know some use mobile so addresses may change but mine is a home phone which I had since the late 80's and the address is current.

These people all day long sometime will leave a message and sometime don't. Then call back with different number

I decided to answer this call today. They somehow got my Google Voice number, which I've given to less than 10 personal friends and have never used for personal business matters. The call rep could barely speak English (sounded Asian) and immediately asked me to verify my last four digits of my SS, which she had. Absolutely inappropriate! I told them if they have any personal business matters they can contact me via snail mail.

Bottom line never answer any toll-free number they never call to give you money

Last time they called I told them to notify me by mail, and the conversation was terminated because they admitted to recording it. So far no mail!!! Today was essentially the same, "you're violating my right to privacy by recording, send me a letter is this is so all fired important, don't call back and lose my number."
