I keep getting this calls last one on Chrismas day but there is never an anwer actually I can' hear nothing no hanging up so it must be coming from a Mobile very enoying I'm from Melbourne and very angry that they can just do what they like they're really a Pest

At 3.23 am I had a call from 0011976000.  Bloody annoying and upsetting!  Anyone know who it is?  thanks

I got a call from this number, its some chinese investment company. Dont know how they got my details or knew my name, but they sound shifty. Be careful people!

Funny how these calls have been happening since a lot of big companys started using overseas call centres that have your name and phone number ... just a thought..

don't know why but today on the 19th January 2013 got my first call at 9 18 am from this number 00011976000. didn't answer it cos i don't answer to a number I don't recognize, got 5 calls all together from this number 9:18, 9:19, 9:32,9:33 and 9:34.

It is now January 2013. I am in Melbourne and we have just received a call from this number. I cannot understand why these nuisance caller number cannot simply be blocked by the service providers.

I get ph calls from this number all the time for last 6 mths
My ph is Optus land line and is a silent number they ring all
Different times also I cannot call back and no one ever speaks
Very strange I live in reservoir Melbourne Victoria  
And don't have any relatives or anyone else for that matter overseas
Something's not right with all this

I have had numerous calls from this number 0011976000.. this time it is optus selling telephone services..
I have said 'No' numerous times but they keep calling.. as they are calling a business number, I can not add it to the "Do Not Call register".
also I have tried blocking the number so it will reject it, but the calls keep coming..

Now, I have decided to waste there time.. I will give them the information they need and when the sales rep turns up, I will say not interested.. hopefully the businesses commissioning this type of harassment, will get the message.

i recieved a call today 26 feb 13, no message left.

I received a call last night at 6:19pm, I didn't answer it as I don't answer numbers I don't recognise. It rang out and then rang again straight after at 6:20pm, but from a private number, lucky I don't answer those calls either! No message was left either time. I have just recently got a new phone number from Optus, recent as in 2 days ago! So not a good start that I have already had annoying calls, considering thats why I changed my number in the first place!

This number keeps calling me once a day when I do answer they hang up

Ok, I've had more than 30 phone calls from this number already. Each has been from a different company or different country.

The only explanation i have so far is because they are calling us (ozzie) consumers through a VOIP portal which their numbers get redirected and re-routed it appears to us as an unidentifiable number as such...

but it's very humourous  to see the schizo saying it's the chinese spying on us and trying to take us over... i thought this was a place providing sane people with information about annoying telemarketers and who the heck called them, not some venting spot for some political rant nut?!

I've received quite a few missed calls from this number 0011976000. Very annoying.

Just got one then - Indian guy claiming to be from  Microsoft - told him I didnt own a computer and to PO - another scammer.

They have called about 20 times today; this is a business and it is very frustrating.

We get calls from this number regularly.. Usually to tell us we have a problem with our computer. It's not worth getting stressed over; they're on the other end of a phone somewhere and aren't going to harm us. We let our 5 year old answer if we can, quite entertaining. Canberra 20/4/13.

Just received  call from this number.  Answered it, only to discover there was nobody on the other end. Thing is, we have a silent number, so whoever this is must be just random dialing. Not impressed tho. Have also bee  getting daily calls from a "Private Number", with the same outcome,  nobody there.

ok...work this 1 out...i just got a call from my g/f in philippines.......00011976000.....i asked was it her phone...she say yes.....any ides..????????????????????????????/
