obviously it was not her number...but it was her......wtf..??

Over the last month, I have received six calls from this number, but no reply when I've answered. My first and last thoughts both the same...sculduggery.

I just received this call and because I refused to give my name, I got abused

today is 23/5/2013 and I get calls all the time from that number. 0011976000 I am on the sunshine coast in queensland, so I just see it and turn the wringer off. EASY

Same number called and hung up after 4 rings

Its the NSA tracking your phone calls

Your the only one to get a +6101976000, everyone else gets 0011976000, also your wrong, and right about location, yes it is from Australia, but not at the same time, it's a con/trick with the phones, like the old 4 digit number that after calling and hanging up would make your own phone ring back as blocked. it's being activated from overseas, but unsure the exact country from, it's done by an automatic generator caller, it connects to our service providers, Optus Telstra Vodafone etc, any service number with overseas connections, dodo I believe don't get affected as they don't have direct overseas connections they use Telstra via exchange to get out.... the callers do this to obtain legitimate phone numbers is Oz, that are answered by people, not by answering machines, it records the numbers and adds to the list, then whoever they are, sells the lists to marketing company's for telemarketing uses...... this number isn't blockable by any Oz service providers as it's not a direct number, best you can do is let it ring out, after a set number of no answers or answering machine answers, the number will be removed from the dialer, and you shouldn't get it anymore... well for a while anyway, till the process is restarted for another company for purchase...... I know it's annoying, and I answered by mistake as I was a sleep, and now that I have I expect a lot more, must remember to look before answering and let it ring out/answering machine picks up........ do not cancel the call early, this also counts as answered and will add to the amount of calls you receive....... just received a call from 0011976000 they asked for me i said wrong number and hung up...

Just got a missed call from this number. I thought to Google it and found this. Thank you guys for your warnings and sharing. This helps too much to get rid of these scums.

I had a called from this number at 930 at night.

In Sydney. I had 2 calls from this number last night luckily didn't make it to the phone in time. no message left on voice mail. Thank you to Sonic the StonedHog for your research.
And strange what tsman reported that it hacked his girl friend's mobile in the Philippines.

I've got a number of calls from : 0011976000, there is no answer when I pick up the line, it's very annoying, our phone number is a silent number and I'd like to have who ever is that calls us often to stop calling!!!

They are *NOT* direct open channels to the phone bank boiler rooms we comment upon, nor can anyone take action for you based on anonymous remarks.

I just got the same number ringing me in queensland and its now july 2103 so we cant anyone find out where this [***] is coming from?

I am getting the same thing now!!! They are saying a company but I can't understand!!! 4 times today

I received a phone call from this number today.. First of all it was private and they were saying I'm in the draw to win a $50 coles/myer gift card and a chance to win $1000 and then I told them I earnt less than the amount they must of wanted so they called back on +51 4227 3126 comes up as SAN MARTIN and said say you earn more than what we asked previously as we dont want you to miss out. By this stage I was sus but I played along just to see how far they would take it. . They ended up telling me they were going to send tickets out to a meeting and they needed my name my partners name and address.. I hung up after this as I thought it was pathetic..

The caller again tried to call on the +51 number twice but I did not answer.. When trying to call back the 0011976000 number it says it is disconnected or doesnt exist.. The other number is just blank..

Very weird...

Now that [***] ,,, that's a telemarketing call from new Delhi india ....... and this number is quit cheep for international calls. just like in just $10 AUD you can get 500 mins for international calling ...........
