- Woody replies to AngusThanks, Angus. I wonder if this is a service to bill collectors, trying to find out if the phone numbers being offered are real or not? I am sure it is something malicious, and wished I hadn't answered. I said no, thank God, so they can't sign me up with something I didn't authorize. I will report them.
- HDL NYCCaller ID says "THNK SAY ACT 10". When I answered, a recorded voice said "This is survey number 210, Do you have a small dog?"

- me tooI just got a call from the same number. Got another one last night. I figured it was some political survey that I didn't want to be bothered with, so I didn't answer. After getting the second call tonight, I googled "Think Say Act" and found y'all. I'm also on the "Do Not Call" list, and I don't have a dog of any size. Glad I didn't answer! I'll make sure to tell the rest of my family not to answer these calls, either.

- Scott replies to Jen| 1 replyIts a scam. They ask you a simple question like "do you have a small dog?" and if you answer "yes" they record you saying "yes" to authorize charges on your phone bill. If you say "no" they have a recording asking "did you have any problems with your charges?" then you saying "no." I got multiple calls a day. The caller ID is think say act 10.

- DON'T REPLY AT ALLI agree with the person that said they are likely trying to get you to answer "YES" to a "random type question". They are likely a scam provider who will then likely slam some bogus service to your phone, billed as a third party, through your local phone provider for about $10 per month hoping you will not notice. They use your recorded "YES" as their "proof" you "requested" the "service". Not positive about this one (do you have a small dog), but definately sounds like a scam that happened to our business about a year ago.
A scam company called in on a company line and had an automated message that asked to confirm our address, an employee answered yes, not thinking much about it and never reporting it. A few months later I noticed a bogus charge on our monthly bill for one of our offices, after calling the local phone provider they gave me the phone number of the company who was billing us. When I reached someone there, they told me they had authorization, played the recorded yes, etc. The company would only credit 3 months of the charges. I had to complain to the phone company to get the remainder removed. The phone company was then able to add a block to our accounts that blocked ALL THIRD PARTY BILLING.
If you received a call like this and answered yes, I would watch you phone bill and report any unauthorized charges immediately. Call your local police and your states attorney generals office.- Caller: 202-643-1993 Washington DC "Do you have a small dog?"
- whysoseriousI just got the same weird message. "do you have a small dog"? Message left at 7:07pm Pacific time. But since this is coming from the D.C area its 10pm. So who the hell is this. I tried to call back and I get the voice mail box is full and can't accept any new messages. Odd.
