This number has been calling my husband for a few weeks now, he has never answered but the voice mail always says "will call again later" and they do, at least 3 times a day, morning, afternoon and just about 7 in the evening... ITS SO ANNOYING we are in Colorado

got a call from this number, did not answer it and they did not leave a voicemail.  Thank you for all your post about this scam.  California

This number has called my husband's and my phone numerous times starting with late Sunday night. Never leave a message and when I tried to call back all I got was a message that the mail box was full. Very annoying !!!! So glad to read the other letters, so that I know was the deal is.

After reading this post I want to nail these scumbags!

It was a recording from Gov. Mike Huckabee's little campaign Huck Pack or something, asking for contributions after a series of questions regarding liberal spending in congress.

Call from 202-643-1993 Thnk Say Act 10 was a recorded message from Karen England, a write-in candidate for California Lt. Gov.

Looking back at all the messages I saw that somebody claimed they were these guys ...

So these guys, if that's who they are, seem to be Pac guys in league with TEA party types.  
I think they got my name from the Fred Thompson guys from the last campaign.  I never got involved with any of those guys or gave them my phone number or email.  Once  I did the Thompson people (only contact) gave my number to every freaking yahoo associated with them.  It's not the candidates who do this, it is their little s#i! staffers.  They copy and take all the lists with them to their new jobs, and they trade them for money, new jobs and favors.

Oh, if you ever gave them your Cell Phone as a contact number that is the one that will be used.  Pretty sure that is who these guys are.  I don't even think they want to take a poll, they are probably gathering data for a final get-out-the-vote push in the last week before the election.  Not that this would matter as political contact calls are allowed as are surveys.

Oh no, if they are supporting her little insult to Abel Maldonado these are extreme wackos for sure, way way out there.

I hope it isn't those guys who call up and pretend to take a survey, but they really want donations, so for example if they want to oppose abortion and you say in the "survey" you oppose abortion you get an automated chance to give them your credit card and donate.  Otherwise you are thanked for taking the "survey" which isn't really a survey and doesn't really go anywhere.

I'm getting political surveys from this number.

Have received two calls from this number in last 24hrs.  Caller left message both times that this was for a political survey and they may call back. I am also on the do not call list.

I have gotten this phone call several times in the past few days but have not answered it. It says that it will call back and that it is some sort of political survey. I think it is a scam of some sort.

Blowing up my phone with political surveys and does not honor opt-out requests. Even though surveys are allowed under do not call, they can be reported if they do not let you opt out or honor your request. I'm reporting it and suggest others do the same.

No message left.  Caller Id show the above number and Washington, D.C.  Upon researching it on the internet, I learned that it is a scam to get you to say the word, "yes" so that it may be recorded by the caller.....and they are very annoyingly persistent.

i get same but there trying to blow my phone up 9 calls in 2 hours reporting to F.B.I.

My husband first got a question about a small dog, then I answered it over a week later and was asked if there were registered voters in the house.  
It has already been established that they make up different numbers for a false caller ID display, so reporting the number they call from doesn't make any sense.
I am going to keep checking my phone records for extra and unauthorized charges, we had that about 6 months back from somebody called ILD Teleservices .  The last bill came a few days ago and there were no strange charges so I don't think it is a scam.  Credit card records are also clean.  If anybody does see strange charges report them here, the phone bill says who they are and there will be a 800 or 877 number etc.
But people shouldn't scare others and say for sure it is a scam if they don't know!   Please stop reporting rumors and guesses.

got call(s) from them tonight at 6:33pm at the same time on both my cell and my fiances cell phones. They left a message on his voice mail saying they will call back at a later time but didnt leave one on mine.....seems odd so I checked here first! so glad I did!! Our phone#'s are one number a part.

i got this phone call ON MY PRIVATE CELL PHONE from 1-202-643-1993. it was a Political message machine. No real people, and a call back to them only resulted in me being told their message box was full and to try back later. how do I block these rude people from calling my cell phone?????? i shouldnt even be getting junk phone calls on my cell phone! HOW'D they get my number???

yeah BTW my husband got a call the sme time I did too....its happened 3 times in the past 24 hours....
