I checked a message on my voice mail.  It just hung up.

'Do you own a small dog?'
the caller ID sayd think say act 202-643-1993.
They are repeatedly calling the message sounds like a computer and they hang up after they ask the question. It is getting really annoyong.

I received same phone call yesterday asking if I had a small dog.  Stupid me said no.  Be carefull all of you, don't know what this is about.

Just had the same message left for the first time after being called numerous times.

I received a call from 202-623-1993  "Thnk Say Act 10" on caller id -- asked if I had a small dog -- unfortunately I answered yes -- I should have just hung up -- I'm concerned it is a scam of some sort.  I tried to call the number back and got a message saying the voicemail box for someone (garbled name) was full and could not receive anymore messages.  Very strange indeed.  I hope I didn't fall into a scam!

I received the same phone call that you guys and it said: "I WILL CALL YOU BACK" and when I call back there is no answer machine because the box is full.

Thanks for this space for all of us, thank to you guys now I know that this is a scam call.!

I just got the same call and yes I have a small dog...it makes me worry.  I didn't answer at alll...i just pressed the number 2 to see what would happen......nothing.   How do you report this sort of thing?

Thnk Say Act 10 on some reports as Caller ID.  

Called cellphone 2x on 2 days, did not answer. However, this is a Very STRANGE one !! I am finding other 'do not call' forums with similar details / complaints = (Do you have a small dog?). Is this really a nuisance call, a phone verification scam for a hacker, telemarketer or survey firm, a criminal working to gather personal identity, a dog napper, or someone attempting to increase paranoia ??  

It is clear that they are calling a number of phones. Is the CallerID being spoofed ? Are these nuisance calls 'legal ? What agency or jurisdiction has resources and incentive to investigate = who to report for action FCC, FTC, FBI, which phone company, local / county / state Police ? Caller ID: 202-643-1993 Caller Company: Unknown

We recieved the call too at 8:09pm, didn't answer.  Displayed the ID: Washington, DC.  Don't know anyone in Washington, DC and we are supposed to be on the "do not call list."  We will block it now.

Haven't answered.  To those of you blindly calling this a scam, show your proof.  Who says it's not a legitimate survey?  If they were farming for valid numbers, you'd only have to pick up; they wouldn't need to ask a question.  And if they were recording you saying "yes" for slamming purposes, they would ask a question likely to have more "yes" answers.

Several calls (2-3 per day) in MI from this number and ID.  All are unanswered and all hang up.  Am on Do Not Call registry ... Anything we can do?

Received call this morning, caller i.d. Washington, DC.  Did not leave message.

202-643-1993, just received a call from them and I hung up before there recording picked up. I will report them to the FCC. Hope they are doing something if this is a scam.

Why are you sticking up for these annoying callers? Do you like to be disturbed and bothered by these @$%$^&*^% anoying people and calls.

We received a call today from them asking if we have a small dog. We have been recieving calls like this for the past month. Some were from Jamaica, another from Canada where they wound up yelling and cussing at my 82 year old father. A recorded phone call telling us out ATM card was not valid and to press 1. It started when it looked like someone got into what I think was our Amazon acccount and got my credit card number and was trying to use it in Miami and my fathers atm card number and used it in brazil.

I just got a call that caller ID showed as "Washington DC". I said, "Hello." and the reply was, "Survey 2010. Do you own a small dog?" And I sat there for a second and just hung up. I tried to call back and it says, "The mailbox for "static sounds", is full, a message cannot be left at this time." So I hung up and filed a complaint on the national registry, do-not-call site. And came here to also report it to consumers.
