Hey same thing happened to me what is this a scam?

I am glad I did an internet search on this.  Guess he is trying to scam Alaskans too.  I got a text from 675-53 that said:
"(Real Estate) I am interested in purchasing your property, can you give me the quick details at www.JpeProperties.com thanx!"

I got this same message sent to me on the phone(7-10-2010) and I first did a NORTON SECURTY CHECK to see if it would lead to a scam and that is exactly what I gather....A SCAM....I have an add on Craigs List also, so this is where they got my ph. number.....I am not a desperate seller nor am I ignorant to all the ways of the evil out there lurking to hurt us by invading our computers and our lives.  THANKS to NORTON SECURITY and this site verifying what I suspected.

I am a resident manager and just got the same message of wanting to buy the property
from the owner.  Seemed strange to me as he or she is messaging me on my phone
and not the owners.

This is truly a SCAM.    Can't find anyone involved or attached who is willing to come forward and be honest and up-front.   Yes, be careful everybody.   He needs to be hung up by his   ______________(s).

I have received a few text messages from XanProperties.com on my cell phone from an ad on Craigslist.  I am very glad I decided to research this, and that everyone has offered so much info about this bogus group.

I visited the site - http://sold.zbuyer.com/default.aspx?MID=471&VID=16083310&AffID=THIRDVERIFY - and got suspicious when it asked for personal info.

I also have received a text messages from XanProperties.com on my cell phone from an ad on Craigslist in Bullhead City, AZ and thanks to all of you who have posted on here.

i got this same message from 675-53 from an ad on trulia or the wemar mls.

Got a text on my cell phone from a 5-digit # just a couple days ago requesting the same info to put on his XanProperties.com.  I didn't go to that link as well.  Don't people have better things to do.  ???

I just got the same message- I have a property for sale that I posted on Craigslist- the message said the same thing, they wanted to make a cash offer- they buy properties in all 50 states- wanted me to go to their website at http://XanProperties.com.  I googled it and found this page- what a jerk!  His phone number came up private.

I received a text message from 67553 saying he is interested in purchasing my property, it asked me to go to www.xanproperties.com.  Obviously I googled it and found many other complaints about this same person.  Must be coming through Craigs List.

yup...just posted an ad on craigslist..and got a text message saying they want to make a cash offer within the next 24 hours....what the hell is this crap.   i got excited at first, then shortly realized this is def. a scam.   A** H***s

Well, for #3 you can add the state of Florida. I just received one from him last night. Did not think it was a scam! Just a realtor offering low cash money to elderly or guys hurting + out of work. Was not until I Google that XanProperties that I found this sight! Great backtracking + homework etc, was not interested but was going to reply to him that I was not interested in any cash offer --just a cash sale of $65,000 firm for my 1+acre with a single wide mobile + a 40ft+ R.V. barn + very deep well (you do not need a water softener) water is great.) The value will go up+up when the country gets going again --yea, I know, it will never be "hot!" like it was! But it will come back "great again!" in its own big way! Well, I have this ad in Craigslist -so that is where he got it! But he did not go through the ad? A reply would have the yellow logo+ warning etc. This just had a set of #'s + of course his link. Also been getting crazy cash offers for my -1985 Oldsmobile Toronado -- 3 of them last night all at the same time 9:05 PM all saying they want it + have cash _ all not mentioning the make + model of the car? (Need that cause I have my GMC 3 door/van/pick-up--1 ton duelly also for $5,000 same as the Toronado. And all 3 were word for word! Different e-mail addresses + different name headings. So Craigslist draws a lot of the lonely-tunes- and they all want pics. Well, this ole fart is babeling **on+on _ sorry+thanks for listening! Great work! But, hey! I got a text message from this place x 2. The same recording just different tele. nos. I called the 206 279 7240 and got a laser hookup program and then I called 417 799 1697 and the answering machine said real estate office. No business name at all. I also have an ad on Craig's list. I am in Missouri.

Similar message here but now web address is www.xanproperities.com and no phone number... just a text message on phnoe that says 67553 as the #

Oh yeah... I even got a phone call and when I pushed for their name they said Mary Jones.  I pushed for a phone number and they gave me on in Chicago.  Very fishy and not a pleasent feeling... same thing, I will drive by your house this weekend and send you an email if we want to put a cash offer in.
